This was a story about acceptance. I read it to my 3 year old nephew and he didn't understand why the blind boy was in trouble. He didn't care for this story too much, but the meaning behind it is important. Not sure if he'll want to read it again, but I still have the download on my kindle.

I thought that this book was really good!
The book was well laid out and I loved the writing style.
It had some lovely illustrations that really brought the book to life. I didn’t think I would like the illustrations as much as I did but they really suited the story.
The story was well planned out and I loved the ending and moral of the story.
It is five stars from me for this one – very highly recommended!
Thanks to the publisher and NetGalley for letting me review this book. This was a fast read. I liked that the king learned that it’s ok that everyone is different. It’d be a boring world if we all looked alike and acted the same way. It was sad that the king didn’t stand up for Tad since the boy didn’t realize his cap was different from the others since he was blind. It took Tad and the elf to make the king realize that being different is a good thing.
