I really loved and enjoyed this title! I found the writing very charming and enjoyed the love connection between the two main characters. I would definitely recommend this.
Thank you to the publisher and NetGalley for a review copy. All opinions are my own.
I absolutely loved it from beginning to end. I cannot wait to read more by this author and do another re-read come holiday season! 10/10!!
Thanks to Netgalley and the publisher for an ARC of this book. I have chosen to write this honest review voluntarily and it reflects my personal opinion.
The second book in the series introduces new characters as well as extending the stories of those we've already met in this lovely (imaginary) setting. The atmosphere of the sea and beach, village and farm is woven throughout the stories linked in the novel. It is set close to Christmas and the book includes plenty of references to decorations and Santa after the mention of the 'Undercover Santa' in the beginning, a lovely start.
This author is expert at writing about family, relationships and love and this gentle tale is another engaging read.

Seabreeze Farm is the perfect place for Freya to recover. But could this beautiful farm perched high on the cliffs, also hold the answer to Freya’s past and reunite her with the family she never even knew she’d been wishing for?
This book was previously published as Finding Dad.
My Opinion
This was such a sweet read, and whilst set at Christmas it was not overly festive. I haven't read the first book in the series, but that in no way affected my enjoyment of this book. From reading this, Seabreeze Farm seems like a lovely place if an escape is needed. This book really did make me feel like I was finding new friends, a great read.
Rating 4/5
I want to thank Netgalley and the author for gifting me the ebook. I was able to find the audio version through my local library app.
This was a cute story. I was excited because it took place during Christmas but as you read it you kind of forget about Christmas because there is not much Christmas in it. But the story was fine itself and it is more about the main character trying to find herself and finding out a shocking family secret.
This is another book in the Seabreeze Farm series (written by Jo Bartlett who has also penned the Cornish Midwife series). I really enjoyed it and I read it straight through, in a single sitting, as I couldn't wait to see what happened! It has a Christmassy theme but not so much so that you couldn't enjoy it all year round. I'd highly recommend it.
The second in this series
Absolutely loved it like all Jo’s books
Was an absolutely fantastic read
Can’t wait to see if there is another one in the series
Thanks NetGalley
Freya has a couple of shocking discoveries before her wedding, and escapes to Seabreeze farm, to look after herself. She finds herself licking her wounds and being enveloped by the lovely people and animals on the farm.
Such a wonderful book and you really feel for her and see how the farm is the best place for her to be.

A perfectly written story of second chances and how we always return home when life gets tough. I love Seabreeze farm and I can see the appeal.
This was a heartfelt and heartwarming story.
There could have been more Christmas elements to make it more of a Christmas story but it was still a good story.
This was very short and I read it in no time at all.
A cute and cosy book ready for the festive season.
Lovely characters that all gelled nicely together, some really excellent writing. a tiny bit predictable in places but it's Christmas, we can look over things like that because that's mostly what happens isn't it!
There were some really realistic character creations going on, the farm family was actually just lovely and real, it felt like they were real people and that warmth and realism is followed throughout the book as the characters have their own challenges they need to overcome, I really like that, no stiff characters!
This is definitely one to get you in the holiday spirit, I really enjoyed it!
Thank you to Netgalley for letting me read this free ARC in return for an honest review.

Jo Bartlett’s Finding Family at Seabreeze Farm is a gentle, cosy and uplifting tale that touches the heart, lifts the spirit and brings a tear to the eye.

Seabreeze Farm is the perfect place for Freya to heal. This beautiful farm perched high atop the cliffs holds the answer to all of her questions about her family. Will Freya manage to vanquish old ghosts, recover from her wounds and find the family she never knew she’d been wishing for? Is a happy ending within reach for Freya? Or is she setting herself up for more heartache and disappointment?
Jo Bartlett writes book that never fail to hit all the right spots and Finding Family at Seabreeze Farm is an emotional, captivating and enjoyable tale full of warmth and hope that readers are going to fall in love with. An engaging story about healing from the past, finding happiness and the power of love, Finding Family at Seabreeze Farm is a terrific read best read while snuggling under a blanket with a massive mug of hot chocolate.
In the book, we follow Freya Halliwell who can’t wait to marry the love of her life on a Seabreeze farm. When her life falls in shambles, she is left to collect pieces and she decides to do it at a Seabreeze farm. To spend some time there all alone but she won’t be as alone as she thought she would be. With the support of lovely people living there and the community, it is clear that Freya is at an amazing place for healing. Everyone welcomes her with open arms and helps her on her healing journey. It is really nice to see how everyone was willing to help her in their way. That’s what one gets in a small and close community like the farm. Not only a community but a family.
This aspect of a family is crystal clear very quickly with the way they are treating Freya. Even if not related by blood, she soon becomes part of their family. Which is clear from how they treat her. They also help her with her search for the real father who ends up being closer to her than she first thought.
Jo didn’t disappoint with her writing and showed us that love can truly win. If you need a story to read during the Christmas holidays, you should pick this book up. It is cozy, it is about finding your real and new found family, it is celebrating love. While at it, make sure to also pick up the first book in the series and let yourself be swept away by Jo’s writing.
The magic of this book takes us up to Christmas and has so many ups and downs along the way, I could not put it down and it will touch your heart as you turn page after page.
Once again the author brings the book alive like you’re in there with the characters, I loved every bit. Recommend ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
With a strong family theme and betrayed by the people she is closest to, Freya escapes to Seabreeze Farm and Ellie and her family . An easy read which the reader becomes part of . Delightful characters and lots of plot twists . An emotional journey which I would highly recommend
Thank you to Netgalley, Boldwood Books and Jo Bartlett for letting me read this book in exchange for an honest review
Freya is happy with what she has with Ollie and is excited to get married and move to London to start their new life. Ollie and her aunt is the only person she has after both parent passed away. While in the midst clearing stuff, she stumbled upon her mom’s journal and discovered that her lovely dad is not her biological father. This has devastated her and she thought to find Ollie, she stumbled upon him with her best friend. With the discovery about her father, she established that Ollie has betrayed her with her best friend and decided to cancel the planned marriage. Freya needed time to come terms with all the betrayals, she escapes to Seabreeze Farm.
It is a story that focus on family with its up and down emotion, love and loss. This book focus around Freya in her discovery journey to find her biological father. This is a lovely and festive read to me as it is not as Christmassy as I expect it to be.

It’s messy and will make you cry more than once but I loved finding family at Seabbreeze farm.
Freya has packed up her life ready for her new adventure with her soon to be husband Ollie but she makes a discovery about her past that changes everything. One complication leads to another and she finds herself at Seabreeze farm to find the truth.
I love the connections between generations in this story and the relationships between families. It’s a lovely heartwarming story with a lovely ending.
What a belter of a book, I absolutely loved it from beginning to end. I have been reading another series by this author and couldn't wait to pick this one up and it really didn't disappoint.
Set in the lead up to Christmas we meet Freya and Ollie as they prepare for their wedding. I haven't read the first book in this series, but this read perfectly well as a standalone and I already can't wait to read the next one.
A wonderful story that makes you laugh, breaks your heart and makes you fall in love with everyone at Seabreeze farm
