Maria Walden is running late, running to catch the bus to the airport she is frustrated with the gorgeous man who insists on paying her fare.
Jarik Shadid is on the way to the airport on the bus when Maria Waldens purse is trapped on the bottom of her bag it's second nature for him to pay her fare.
Both are in a race against time, Maria to get her humanitarian delivery to Syria, and Jarik to Lebanon to right a wrong.
With a storm coming in Maria's flight is the only flight out to the middle east and Jarik makes a very generous offer to get him to Syria.
The attraction is there but how can there be a future for a small charity ceo and pilot and a member of the Shadid Royal household.
A great book with interesting characters, looking forward to the final installment

This is a good book. The two main characters are Maria and Jarvik. Maria is a pilot and runs a charity. Jarvik is a sheikh. They meet on a bus. He asks her to let him fly with her. They have some problems with flight, snow a busted hose and mechanics to name a few. There is an instant attraction. They each have issues but together they work them out and fall in love.

An absolute corker . . . totally engrossing and superbly written ⭐⭐⭐⭐
Grab a copy full of action and romance

Enjoyable quick read and book 2 in the series however, I did find the main character to be a bit annoying.

This is Jarik and Maria’s story. She is a pilot for a charity. She needs money for her charity. He needs a flight to Lebanon to testify at a trial. The plane needs repairs. He wants to spend time with her. There are misunderstandings. It was a fast read. Leslie North has written a wonderful story.

Jarik sneak away from his bodyguard to attend a trial and he is looking for a transportation to take him to Lebanon. Maria is a pilot who transport Christmas gift donated to her foundation to the less unfortunate kids. Jarik determine that she let him ride her plane and willing to make donation to her foundation. Jarik’s offer is something that Maria’s need. Not to give in too easily, Maria tried her luck asking for double the amount Jarik’s offer which Jarik agreed and also he must help her to unload the donation.
It is a story of two person who are different in their life perspective. One is extremely wealthy and the other who don’t trust other people especially the wealthy ones. The chemistry between them is so strong but they did not know how to react.

This is the second novel in the trilogy. Sheik Jarik of Shadid needs to slip into Lebanon unnoticed to give evidence against a former friend in a trial. Maria, a pilot, who dislikes wealth, is flying through there on the way to Syria to deliver presents to children for Christmas from her charity - Christmas Crates. Her charity is in difficulty. Her brother has disappeared and rumours are swirling that money from her charity has vanished which is destroying the charity’s image and may affect funding. Jarik pledges a large donation in exchange for a lift. She agrees so long as he helps her unload her cargo.
They get stuck in a snowstorm and have to spend time together. Maria discovers that some rich people aren’t that bad!

This was an easy read, but honestly I found it kind of annoying. The heroine has issues with rich men which is later explained in the story, but its to the point of being ridiculous how much she whines about the hero's money. That took away from the story for me.
Also, I know Ms North's books are generally shorter, but I felt there were areas in the plot where I would have liked more detail to understand what is going on (the trip to the beach felt sudden, her brother's gambling history, etc.).
I received an advance reader copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. All opinions are my own.

Loved reading the amazing and awesome romance story. When Mary, a pilot, is on her way to Syria with Christmas gifts for children, Sheikh Jarik Shadid pays to go in the plane with her to Syria. Read the highly recommended, wonderfully written, and a must read love story.

Thank you to Net Galley and the publisher for this free arc. This story was wonderful and sweet. I really enjoyed it.

Jarik is the Sheikh of Shadid and is in of a ride to Lebanon to testify against a former friend. Maria is a pilot and with the Christmas season approaching she has is on her way to Syria to spread Christmas cheer with her gift giving charity. Maria’s charity is in trouble and her brother is supposed to accompany her on her trip and he is a no show. There are rumors of missing money which is not good when it comes to Maria’s charity Christmas Crates which she could possibly lose her funding for. Jarik convinces Maria into letting him ride along with her and promises to make a donation to her charity. A snowstorm catches the two off guard and they become stranded. Maria is not too fond of the wealthy which include Jarik. With the two-spending time together Maria’s feelings are changing.
Is Maria’s brother responsible for the missing money, did Jarik make it to the trail, did Marie deliver her Christmas Crates to Syria, is there an HEA in store for Maria and Jarik?
I received an ARC via NetGalley and Relay Publishing and I am leaving my review voluntarily.

This was the second book of the trilogy. Jarik is determined to get to Lebanon to settle something very important to him, but he must do it under the radar. With him being second in line to the crown he finds it very difficult to not be recognized. While he was on a city bus headed to the airport he is captivated by the women who is chasing after the bus she barely missed. Once the bus stops and she gets on he can’t help the attraction he feels for her. He is determined to get her to talk to him learn more about her. When they arrive at the airport Maria is shocked to see Jarik climb aboard her cargo plane. He is determined that she let him ride on her plane so he can get where he needs to. She accepts on the condition that he pays double the donation he suggested and also mandates that he help unload the cargo for the charity. With some hiccups along the way, they finally make it in time to give Christmas to so many kids in Syria. Along the way she had developed strong feelings for him and she doesn’t know how to move forward. Will they be able to get together and start their forever? I was given a copy of this book through NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.

A big thank you to NetGalley and Relay Publishing for the ARC. I am voluntarily reviewing this book. This is the 2nd in a series, but reads well as a stand alone. I loved Maria-she is feisty and fun, amazing person. Sheikh Jarik was just sort of annoying. I didn't get the chemistry between them. 3 stars
