.
Book- Time to die
Author - Jay Nadal
.
My rating- 🌟🌟🌟🌟
.
Positive!!
Time to die by Jay Nadal is the first in the gripping crime series featuring DI Scott Baker. The plot of the book revolves around an anonymous murderer who is set on a murder Spree killing all the well known criminal faces in the locality.
.
The story starts with a high profile murder case which is in the hands of DI Scott Baker. The complexity of the situation increases when another murder takes place in the very same manner leaving the very same clues.
.
I myself found this book to be interested and attractive firstly because of the less graphic scenes in the book. What I mean by this is that a if you want to read a light hearted detective book this is the one for you. don't like too much of violence or brutality in the story ask me on this you are going to love this book.
.
The writing is very simple and easy to understand. The most about this book is that the author is tried to keep the story simple. the plot of the story is not too much heavy on the brain, I would call this a simple light hearted story.
.
The one thing that disappointed me was the climax. I somehow knew what was coming but I wish it was something more of it. the ending of the story could have been a bit better. Also I feel that the killer's perspective was missing in the plot- why exactly he was doing what he was doing.
.
Overall I would say a great read and I would definitely love to read next of the series. Eagerly waiting.

This ARC was provided to me via Kindle, from Inkubator Books and #NetGalley. Thank you to the publishers, NetGalley and the author for the opportunity to preview and review. Opinions expressed are completely my own.
Quite an interesting read in a story that jumps off the page.

Thank you NetGalley and Inkubator Books for the copy of Time To Die. I don’t think this was the book for me. The writing didn’t engage me and it made it difficult to get into the story. If you[re looking for a quick read, you might enjoy this, especially if you enjoy graphic killings!

DI Scott Baker is hunting a serial killer who is brutally killing drug dealers.
What is the significance of the three £20 notes inserted into the mouths of the dead men?
Why is DNA of a man who has been dead for a few years on the bodies?
It takes a good team of police investigators to uncover the answers to these puzzling questions, to discover that these are revenge killings.
The race is on to find the killer before he kills again. Quite a twist when all the evidence comes together.
This is my first book that I have read by Jay Nadal. I would like to read a few more.
I like reading crime books with clever detective work by the police.
I just have a question.
Mr Adams told Scott that his girlfriend's date of birth was August 1st, but when Scott did an internet search for Jackie Taylor, he put March 1st.
Am I missing something?
This book is not on Goodreads, therefore I am unable to place my review there.

4 stars
DI Scott Baker is awakened on his day off by the telephone. It is the department requesting his assistance at the scene of a murder.
A man has been stabbed. The man has a rap sheet. Scott assumes that there are many who would hold a grudge against him. Scott sets his team to work the case. The interviews begin.
A second man is stabbed to death even more viciously than the last. He is also a small time hood. The need to solve the case ratchets up as the neighborhood denizens get nervous.
Then, a third. What is going on? This man is similar in criminal antics as the other two. The investigation expands. A link to the past is found.
This book is well written and plotted. I didn’t care for the Scott character much. I liked that he is forming a relationship with the pathologist, but it wasn’t enough to improve my opinion of him as a person. Having only read this book in the series, perhaps I am judging him too harshly. (Not knowing what has happened to him in previous novels.)
I would like to thank NetGalley and Inkubator Books for forwarding to me a copy of this good book for me to read, enjoy and review. The opinions expressed in this review are solely my own.
***This book is not yet available on GoodReads, Amazon or BookBub for review. I will watch those sites.

I enjoyed this book by Jay Nadal featuring DI Scott Baker investigating the death of a man stabbed to death, leading him on to a serial killer. I would recommend this book to anyone who enjoys a good thriller.

This book was a good read but it was very short! I basically feel like I got the whole story, but it was definitely short! It did have some action, suspense, intrigue, murder, serial killer, and a kind of a who done it! The storyline was interesting and flowed nicely! I would recommend it as long as you know its short! Thank you Netgalley and the publisher for sharing this book with me!
