I've read most of Golden Angels books, but had to to delve into the Master of Marquis series. Goldens writing style is something I enjoy as writing play a large part for me in reading books. She's able to hold your attention throughout the entire book with the perfect amount of spice. Definitely pick up this book!

An enjoyable read between Q & Sam that were high school sweethearts. Kink helped them with a second chance romance but this book shows why communication is the key to any relationship. It has a nice blend of drama, steam and kink which made it an highly enjoyable read. I received an advanced copy and I'm leaving this review voluntarily.

Another great addition to the Masters of Marquis Series.

I really enjoyed getting the story about Sam and Q’s past. I couldn’t get enough of them figuring things out and watching how they moved past the hurts their past inflicted upon them with minimal angst. Both Sam and Q had me intrigued with them when I met them in previous books and I loved that they were able to work out their conflicted past and cultivate the chemistry that they had. It was also very interesting that both were switches so when either of them needed the control they were able to take it and there was never a power struggle.

This story will definitely show how high school screws with your head. Poor Q had no idea what he had done wrong for Sam to cancel their date to the prom the day after she accepted it, and here we are years later and it was still a sore spot for him. I am glad he finally got closure to the burning question and felt bad about why it had happened but my heart totally understood why Sam had done it.

Switch Play is yet another excellent addition to the Master Of Marquis series. Quinton and Samantha were high school rivals harboring a crush. Ten years later, they meet at the same kink club while attending the same class. The competition is on when Quinton and Sam risk their hearts.

The character of Sam resonated with me. Sam was too independent at times. She refuses any assistance from anyone, relying only on herself. Sam realizes almost too late that a healthy romantic relationship is a give-and-take that requires trust, passion, and vulnerability. Quinton is much more in the moment and decisive than Sam. I love how he can read Sam so well and be completely frustrated at her at other times.

The sexual and power dynamics between these two switches are scorching hot. Quinton and Sam have a decade worth of pent-up emotional frustrations. When these two collide, fireworks abound. Golden Angel is the queen of passionate, sensual, sexy scenes, and Quinton and Sam kick that up another notch!

Switch Play is the fourth book in the Masters Of Marquis series. This series combines characters from two other kink club series. I enjoyed seeing old characters. Switch Play is a sizzling, easy-to-read, second-chance romance. Golden Angel creates emotionally powerful storylines with unforgettable characters and high-octane sexuality.

I thought that this was a really good book that had a strong storyline.

I did find that there was a little too much detail for me at times which detracted from the main story, that could have been cut down for me as it did stop the lovely flow that the author had built up.

I thought that the characters were really well developed and I loved their personalities and they had some great interaction.

It is 4 stars from me for this one, I really enjoyed it – highly recommended!

Enjoyed the story even though I felt like it was a little slow in the beginning, the further you got into the story, the better it was. This is a good second chance story with Sam and Q who have a history back to high school. Both characters are strong but Sam has issues of feeling less worthy because of her financial situation. The story is a fun read but misunderstandings make for hurt feelings. There is a happy ending but there were some stressful moments. Hope you enjoy the story.

Packed with heat, Switch Play will definitely spice things up. The instant rival connection between Q & Sam had the story immediately sparking. Sensing that their connection was based more in attraction than rivalry made the story truly come alive. I enjoyed the drama of their misconceptions and misunderstandings. It brought another layer to their story. This is the first modern story of Goldn Angel’s that I have read. Having previously enjoyed her Regency era series, I found this hit similar tones and was quite enjoyable. I especially enjoyed the many layers of Q’s personality, not just in Dom/Sub but in seeing him with his friends, with Angels daughter and his family. It really helped create a well rounded picture of a very attractive man. An entertaining read with plenty of spice & heat!

Switch Play is a second chance romance for two people who are perfect for each other if they can just get out of their own way. Sam and Q have history but can they have a future. Their kinks mesh but they have to communicate outside of the bedroom. This is a steamy read that will give you all the feels.
