Forbidden Kisses With Her Millionaire Boss may have a somewhat predictable plot but it has you turning the pages anyway as you become invested in the characters who just sizzle with chemistry whenever they have a scene together.

Lin is a heiress who is being pressurised by her grandfather to take over the family business which she doesn’t want to do. She is a talented 3D artist and wishes to pursue a career in that field, whereas her grandfather regards her art as just a hobby. Karl is a very successful events planner who is very closed off in regards to emotions. Karl first meets Lin at a wedding where she is a bridesmaid. He mistakes her as a thief as she is trying to replace her piece of 3D art with a piece she thinks is better. He loves her work and invites Lin to travel with him from Kenya to Canada to plan a Kwanzaa themed event. Lin agree as this will give her a break from her grandfather pressuring her to agree to take over the business. By the time they arrive in Canada the snow cannot cool the chemistry as the 7 day Kwanzaa arrives. Lin, however, realises Karl is closed off from her emotionally and is still suffering emotionally from the fall out from his ex. He, like Lin, also has problems with his family to deal with. Time is running out before Lin has to return home. Will they solve their family issues in time and Karl realise Lin is not like ex? They need to deal with these issues before they can move forward.

An enjoyable read that gives an insight into other cultures, international relationships and how different backgrounds can shape a person and their life choices.

I enjoyed this lots. Lin an heiress is fighting against a life planned for her and trying to make her own way in the world on her own two feet. 3d printing of beautiful things is where her heart lies. She meets Karl an events planner whilst sneaking into an event and he thinks she is a thief. Once they clear the air they realise there is a whole lot of chemistry.
This book was lovely and there is lots of cute events that transpire to get the couple together.

Interesting romance exploring different cultures and backgrounds. It took me time to warm to Lin and Karl and their personalities, it took the hideous parents to help their appeal. The art and innovation seemed a little bit of an addition to the plot and came across a bit unnatural.
