The fifth book in the Sisterhood of Secrets series this has been a series that I have loved reading from the first book to this one which was just as good and interesting as the rest. Sir Aaron Kirkwood is a man with a mission he wants the local theater and Miss Louisa Dunston will do everything to stop him. I enjoyed seeing them get their happy ending with all the ups and downs they went through. I received a copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.

“Women are untrustworthy creatures who brought pain into the world,” his father had said. “Heed my words, Son. Don’t allow them to deceive you. Because if you do, you’ll have no one to blame but yourself.”

If no other quote helped level set for how much bitter banter will happen in this In this enemies-to-lovers Regency romance by Jennifer Monroe. While this couple ended up frustrating me more than the famous Mr. Darcy Knight of Destiny, ends up being a fun ride. I struggled a little bit with this story even with how beautifully written it is, but if you enjoy troupes of enemies-to-lovers, pride before the fall, and two very self-righteous leads with a mission, passion and some mystery, you need to pick this story up.

I do think this story stands alone decently, but it also ended up making me want to read the other books in this series' volume. Excellent job!

This is the first book from Jennifer Monroe I’ve read and it’s such a cute story that had me smiling from time to time as the main characters - Louisa and Aaron get to know each other and fall in love.

Initially, while attracted to each other’s external good looks, their interactions with each other bring them a deeper understanding and a love that is more than skin deep.

Would definitely recommend this.

Knight of Destiny is the 5th book in this series. I have read all of them. I love the Sisterhood of Secrets Series. This book follows the journey of Louisa Dunston and Sir Aaron. Sir Aaron is a newly wealthy man looking to make more money. He meets Louisa while in a small shop and they do not make a good team to start. They are on opposing sides of what to do with the local theater. The theater owner suggests that they work together and this brings to light how they are a perfect match for one another.

Thank you to NetGalley, Jennifer Monroe and the publisher for allowing me to read a free, advanced copy of this book.

Their encounters were adversarial, until they weren’t. This a wonderful story about friendship, mentorship, love, truth and forgiveness. They were so much alike their ruses and disagreements are epic it is almost a pity they came into an understanding although it is required for their HEA.

I received an ARC from Netgalley and leaving my review voluntarily.

I did not feel like this book was as good as the others in the series BUT it dd have a great moral lesson for both main characters. I did enjoy the ending. And I look forward to Ruth's story. I just wonder if they are going to tell about the twins in Ruth's book.

.I recieved a free copy so that I might tell you what I honestly think. Hope you enjoyed my review. Now go enjoy the book.

Miss Louisa Dunston and Sir Aaron Kirkwood were like two peas in a pod. They were both selfish, stubborn, full of pride, and vain. They both had a lot to learn. It centers around a theater and if it is going to be bought or fixed.
The story flowed well and was very engaging. It not only entertained but kept your interest. The characters were realistic and worked well together. There are surprises throughout the book that
make it even better. Thank you for letting me read this wonderful novel.

Destiny is Just Around the Corner!

Two perfectly vain and beautiful people meet who are meant to be together. Each tried to outdo the other when the Theatre is involved.

Sir Aaron Kirkwood recently knighted had a plan, find a place and build a gentleman’s club then move onto the next project, all the while adding to his fortune and making more. He firmly believed that women who he respected should look after the home and not have anything to do with business.

Miss Louisa Dunston loved to visit the Theatre every year and this year when she found out the man who had recently been rude to her was trying to buy the Theatre decided she would try to save it and stop this club from being formed.

Sir Aaron couldn’t believe any woman including Louisa could resist him and it did grate on his nerves every time she pouted and flirted with other gentleman when his kisses and his person should be the only thing she was interested in.

They were both trying to save the theatre in their own way! Sir Aaron needed to learn a lesson in humility and change the way he thought about women especially the one he had come to love and Louisa had to learn the art of compromise.

All was going well until he betrayed her and he had to make things right.

I enjoyed Louisa’s story which was getting closer to the mystery of Mrs Rutley the schools Headmistress. A fun clean romance with lots of witty and fun moments!

Ruth is the last one and I’m looking forward to her story and finding out what the mysterious secret Mrs Rutley had been hiding for all these years.

I voluntarily read and reviewed an ARC. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

I have read the other books in this series and have to say this is my least favourite. I found the character's unlikeable and just couldn't find myself getting interested or attached to what were very prideful, arrogant and shallow people. I know this was the general idea and they were supposed to improve but it just wasn't for me, and I nearly gave up halfway through. I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.

In this sweet enemies-to-lovers Regency romance by Jennifer Monroe, a strongheaded woman meets her match when an arrogant knight vows to take over the very theater she cherishes.
This is the fifth installment in this tale of several girls who went to school together.
Aaron and Louisa are the perfect team to be together
Jennifer Monroe has written another story that is amazing..
I received a complimentary copy of this book from the publisher and NetGalley. This in no way affects my opinion of this book which I read and reviewed voluntarily.
