I loved that this was a collection of novellas - three mini romance reads featuring women in STEM. I adore Ali Hazelwood's writing and female empowerment. I did find the romances a little predictable, but a lot of romance books are - this doesn't take away from the enjoyment.

I really love Ali Hazelwood & her books. These collection of novellas are no exception. Some were better than others but overall if you enjoy Ali’s books you’ll enjoy this too!

I'm not normally a big fan of short stories but if Ali is writing it, I'm going to read it. I liked that the three stories were interconnected with Sadie, Mara and Hannah being existing friends. The fact that all of them are smart, strong women in STEM is a bonus for me. Aside from the romance, the friendship between the girls and the bond they have was my favourite. Really they had a great love before meeting their men!
I enjoyed all three of the stories but I have to say that Hannah and Ian are probably my favourite. I think this may be because we saw bits of Hannah in the other stories and so I felt the most connected to her. Throw in a snowstorm, a hero who comes to save her and fighting the attraction that is so obviously there even though they try to fight it and this novella was right up my street.

Loathe to Love You by Ali Hazelwood is a set of 3 novellas about 3 friends, all in STEM (Science, Tech, Engineering and Maths, just in case you didn't know), who find *spoiler alert* love. But, I feel if you're reading an Ali Hazelwood, none of this is a surprise to you!
The stories are varied enough that you don't feel like you're reading the same stories over again, but I do like that her female characters work in STEM, as it is an area that women are generally under represented, and so it's a great way to inspire, and show behind the scenes of what happens there!
If you're looking for your next romance author, then this is a great introduction to Ali Hazelwood!
I was given this book in exchange for an unbiased review, so my thanks to NetGalley and to Little, Brown Book Group!

I loved the first book under one roof but after that, I felt that the stories got very repetitive and the stories even though different followed the exact same patter so you knew exactly what to expect. I did enjoy them however.

Loathe To Love You consists of three short stories, each about women in STEM and the man they love/hate. Each story is quite cute and easy to read, flipping between the present and past. I enjoyed each of the 3 but just found them a bit predictable. After reading the first story, I knew exactly where the other two were going. Turning one into a longer novel would have been great!

Under one roof.
When Liam and Mara are forced to live together they don't start off well as they work for rival companies and have opposite views but as time continues it's not only the tension that is high but the the sexual one also.
This novel starts with a bit of spice and characters you are already invested in as you wonder how they got there.
I adore Mara's friends who have her back and look out for her. Even if they are at a distance
This novel is written from the point of view of Mara which I found fun and easy to read
I love the chemistry between the two main characters from the start and could not put this down.
Stuck on you.
Erik and Sadi find themselves stuck in an elevator. But three weeks earlier they had chemistry, the next day miscommunication led the two to never speak again. Now the small space and having to talk about what happened may just push them back together again
I love Sadies quirky superstition. Erik is a strong loveable bear of a character and is so caring I fell in love with him myself. These two characters have fantastic chemistry and I was excited when they cleared things up and got back together.
Below Zero
Hannah and Ian first encounter one another when Hannah needs to interview him for an assignment. But when a kiss leads to more the two obviously have chemistry. But Hannah does not want more than this; she is career driven and doesn't have time.
But 5 years on Hannah is where she wants to be and Ian is nearby. An unfortunate incident leads the two together but this may be just what they need.
I love Hannah's headstrong and career-driven attitude. But I do feel bad for Ian as I do wish she had given him a chance. But I understand sometimes the timings can be wrong.
It's hard to pick my favourite novella from these three as they were all brilliant. But I think under one roof was my favourite as I loved Mara and found her funny in places.
Hazelwood gives us great characters who all intertwine and pop up in each other's narrative. I loved the sisterhood between the three main characters which was made even better when the three male characters meet and each have a bonus scene at the end.

I received an advanced reader copy of this book in exchange for my honest opinion. Thank you to Ali Hazelwood and Little Brown Books for sending me an e-arc of Loathe to Love You; a collection of the Steminist Novellas.
Ali Hazelwood is an autobuy author for me since her debut book, the Love Hypothesis, and as such I was desperate to read each of the Steminist novellas; as personally I struggle with audiobooks this collection seemed like the perfect solution.
While I loved Under One Roof and Stuck With You, the standout book for me was Below Zero. I enjoyed how each book links together in a subtle way; each book following a different part of a tight knit but long distance friendship between Scientists. The bonus chapter within this series really served to tie each novella together, and while I am typically not fond of novella's, Ali Hazelwood has succeeded in showing me the advantage of a shorter story without losing out on the spice.
I love a good forced proximity book, so Under One Roof had me hooked instantly. There's no doubt in my mind that Helena wanted to bring together two of the people she cared most about to help them cope and grow together.
The concept of Sadie and Erik being stuck together in a lift is automatically appealing and the interactions between the two had me giggling.
But for me, the real showstopper s Below Zero; Hannah being stuck in an intensely dangerous situation while injured, Ian desperate to reach her, and Ian is a long lost relative of one of her best friends? This book did not let me down and I couldn't stop even to eat once I got to this novella.

Well all three of these novellas were adorable. The absolute perfect mini romances to get you out of a reading slump.
I loved how the stories linked together between each novella, allowing us to see the character development from the start of the book.
Don’t get me wrong, every story here follows a pretty similar formula, I don’t think I would have enjoyed these as much if I read all three back to back as they are so similar (I mean the only real difference in the men is the hair colour if I’m honest). However I chose to read one of these in between other books and that was perfect.

I loved reading this one. I just love this kind of books.
5 stars read for me. I love this author snd her writing style.
Thanks to netgally for this arc.

Okay no one come at me but does anyone else think that every female Ali Hazelwood writes about it exactly the same character??? Like I enjoyed this collection of short stories as a way to pass time on my flight but come on, have some variety with your FMC’s 🙄 ngl im probably not going to read any more from this author bc I’ve found everything by this author too similar and overrated
Loathe to Love You - 3⭐️
Stuck With You - 2⭐️
Below Zero - 2⭐️

This was my first read by Ali Hazelwood and it definitely won't be my last. I loved these novellas and each one was just so refreshing, dramatic and funny that they just kept me wanting more!
I loved the strong, independent women that featured and how Ali presented them in a way that made them very relatable. The ending of each story is very satisfying but also spicier than I was expecting 🔥.
My favourite novella was probably the 3rd one, which I devoured in one evening, but I really did enjoy them all.
I have 'Love Hypothesis' on my shelf and her other books on the wishlist. I'm hoping to get to them soon!

I wasn't able to read this due to an issue with the formatting on my phone, but I've purchased a copy! Thank you for giving me the opportunity!

A brilliant read and one I really enjoyed. The characters are loveable and varied, the plot is one that is engaging and medium paced. I found myself completely drawn into the story and enjoyed the writing style.

Haxelwood's books are amazing and I LOVED the fact that this was a book of 'short' stories in the same vein as the Love Hypothesis. If you want a book to start with this would be a great one!

This was exactly what I expected from set of Ali Hazelwood novellas! Utterly delightful with fun at its core. I had to rush out and purchase the physical version, just so that I could display it on my shelves! I loved the friendship that was centred throughout all three novellas, and my favourite was definitely Stuck With You!
I found these to be great palette cleansers after reading longer books in between, they just felt like something unserious and cute, and Ali Hazelwood’s writing is incredibly easy to slip back in to.
The Love Hypothesis was a 5⭐️ read for me, but I personally don’t feel like I could rate these books any more than 3 stars, just because they are so short and I don’t feel like we got to know the characters as much as I would like. (Also the constant mention of size started to grate after a while…)
(Thank you so much to Little Brown Book Group UK for the EARC!)

3.5 rounded to 4.
I found these novellas a good pallet cleanser, they are fun to read between heavy books. I enjoyed the stories and the characters, I especially liked how the inter-linked with each other being based around a group of friends who keep in touch via video calls.
I don't think there was anything too unique. I loved The Love Hypothesis, but its quite a repetitive narrative, the gents always seem to 'not do love' and they are always well packaged (if you get me), but there's always more of an element of mis-communication which I find frustrating.
Overall I enjoyed them, I think my favourite was Under One Roof or perhaps Stuck With You. I'm not sure. I'd read again though.

I think I just love Ali Hazelwood's writing! I enjoyed all three of these novellas, they were just long enough for me to get in to the story and not be left wanting more. I enjoyed Hannah's story the most in Below Zero, followed by Mara's in Under One Roof and then Sadie's in Stuck With You. I just really liked the couples in the first two, they seemed really comparable. I wasn't such a big fan of Eric.
Overall, great stories that had me addicted- defo a one sitting job. Looking forward to reading more of Ali's work.

Three novellas in one book, all connected by best friends, who are the main character of each novella.
The first one was good but the ending really let it down it need a another chapter at least to close the story better.
The second was better with going between past and present.
The third one was the best with a great story.

These were fairly cute little novellas, but unfortunately with the exception of Under One Roof, I really found them to be quite bland and samey. Same theme of big tall man and dainty little woman, it got quite samey reading them consecutively. A cute enough read, but nothing great
