This is a good gangland thriller set in Manchester. The characters are realistic and unlikeable. There is plenty of action and it is well written.

I started this book with great excitement, Great gangland thriller set in Manchester what more could you ask for?
But there were a lot of characters that I struggled with and also the quick change from one character to another left me a bit confused.
There was plenty of action, but it didn't grip me like others I have read.

Pay the Price by Sam Tobin was another excellent book by this author
Full of great twists and turns throughout which made it a great page turner and a great holiday read.

Fauzia's brother turns up with a dead body, and her perfect life she is living is shattered.

She' will defend him to the ends of the earth, but who is he running from?

Who can she turn to? Before it's too late?

I highly recommend this book it was excellent!

Wow! Sam Tobin has written a blinder with this one. A brilliant gangland thriller, set in Manchester, filled with realistic, menacing characters, an original plot and plenty of action. I have a soft spot for Craig Malton too! What more can I say, apart from fans will love it. Another easy 5* read from me. Thanks to Net Galley for my ARC.

A great follow-on from the first book. I think this author will be one to watch out for as this was even better than the first

A brilliant gangland thriller with a very complex storyline. Brimming with some quite nasty characters, but also some naive bystanders, the story is fast paced throughout.

Another brilliant read from this author.A great follow up to the first book in the series.

A brutal and raw gripping read that had me on the edge of my seat. I was hooked right from the start untilthe very end.

More than familiar with the locations and have enjoyed numerous other similar books, I was a little reluctant at first to read this one and to be honest, I did find it too similar to many of the others that are London, rather than Manchester based. Could have done to have been more original.

Another stonker of a read. I read the first book by this author earlier in the year and absolutely loved it. As soon as saw this one was available to read i was thrilled.
I didn't even read the synopsis as I'd enjoyed the first one so much i knew i wanted to read this one regardless.
What can I say, Sam Tobin is a name to watch out for, This author is going to be big in this genre and readers are going to love the books.

Some brilliant characters and a storyline that will have you hooked. Based in and around Manchester I enjoyed knowing some of the places that were featured in this book, I always think it adds to the visualisation of the read when places are familiar.
