I really enjoy reading Christine Feehan , her Dark Carpathian and Drake sister's , Sea Haven series are all books I love and I've read most of them.
The Torpedo Ink series is a little darker and the subject matter won't be to everyone's taste, it's quite harrowing reading about the paedophilic school the members were brought up in. That being said you can appreciate the characters finding their perfect partner and getting a happy ever after by the end of the book.
There's such humour in these books and the ways the characters interact always makes me laugh.
This is the last book so far in the series and I can't wait for the next one. I've been hooked on this series since receiving the first book on netgalley . Recommended

As always Christine Feehan has wrote an amazing story, she draws you in and its like you're part of the story listening to the characters, and telling them off in some cases.
I highly recommend this book if you enjoy reading about MC's and you enjoy seeing people work through and manage to live with the scars their incredibly difficult past has left them with.

I'm a huge fan of Christine Feehan's other series' but this is the first I've read in the Torpedo Ink series. Recovery Road is intense, dark, steamy and action-packed. I loved Ambrielle's strong and independent character & ow she brought out Master/Kir's emotional and sensitive side. The other characters and the relationships they share with each other are intriguing and I'll be going back to read the rest of the series. These characters cross over with the Sea Haven series and there are some elements of the supernatural, in keeping with Ms Feehan's usual style. Definitely a must-read!

Fantastic, perfect Christine Feehan book, they seem far fetched when you try to explain them to someone else, but they make perfect sense to us fans and they are brilliant, full of drama, romance, chemistry, great stories and fantastic characters, if you love romance I always recommend Christine Feehan

Ambrie and Master have a lot in common, despite very different upbringings. Both are dealing with the emotional impact of severe trauma. Master seems himself as expendable and it’s only through his relationship with Ambrie that he begins to recognise his own self worth. Ambrie is grieving after her parents are murdered in front of her and is determined to seek vengeance. She is fiercely loyal and opens Master’s brothers’ eyes to how their treatment of him is impacting on his emotional health. Of all the couples in this series, I like this one the most. They have such a natural affinity for each other, it just draws you into the story.

This is the latest book from the Author's Torpedo Ink series - one which held my attention from start to finish
Kir 'Master Vasiliev has been used by the group to infiltrate prisons to take 'care' of the Group's interests - but each time he loses a little more of his "self" ............ he considers himself disposable
Ambrielle Moore and her family have been targeted by a man and his thugs who want their money - they will do anything to get the money including forced marriage and killing her parents in front of her .
But Torpedo Ink has become aware of the of the attack and step in to save Ambri from being forced into a marriage that she wouldn't survive for long - marriage to someone else , someone who could protect her and help her claim revenge for her parents murder is the only way forward ....Master volunteers to marry her
Their attraction to each other is off the charts and they soon become a team . But Master still thinks of himself as disposable and when it is suggested he needs to go back into prison for another Job Ambri raises hell with the group .......... why is Master the only one without a clean record ? can't they see what it has done for his self esteem ? If they ask him to go back inside once again he might not come out this time - another way forward must be thought of .
This is a great read , the characters well thought out , the pace fast and full of twists and turns - I look forward to reading more from the Author in the future
I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own

From all the Torpedo Ink books, this one has been my favorite.
The couple, Master and Ambrielle mesh together so well, they’re one of the best couples of the series, in my opinion. She and Master have great chemistry from the moment they met and they become a team in a way the others couples in the series didn’t or haven’t.
Christine Feehan treats the subject of severe child abuse and its effects on the adults those children become in a careful and thoughtful way.
I can’t wait for the next book in this series, I hope it follows the path of this one.

Most of Christine Feehan's books are exciting, erotic and include characters that have been through some seriously difficult situations in life. This latest edition of the Torpedo Ink series is no different and as gripping as all the previous books in this series. This book follows Master, who is the treasurer for the club and Ambrielle, who is a financial counsellor. Her parents are murdered by a gangster who wants to marry her for her investment skills. She is rescued by Master and his buddies from Torpedo Ink while she is being forced to marry the gangster, but ends up marrying Master himself (and both end up falling in love in due course) so that he will hunt down and kill the gangster. While this may sound a bit far-fetched, it does make sense when you start reading the book. I loved how sassy and full of life Ambrielle is, not afraid to protect her partner even though she is half his size!
This was an enjoyable and gripping read. Can't wait for the next one in this series.
On a more serious note, this series again highlights how trauma can affect individuals, doesn't matter how big or small it might be!

Ambrie and Master’s need for each other is off the scale from their first meeting. Ambrie has been through a traumatic experience and bonds with Master for revenge. Master is part of a band of brothers and sisters known as Torpedo Ink brought up together as family since childhood in Russia. They all have extra skills learnt through trauma and training which most did not survive. Master feels burnt out though his many trips into prison. He has a death wish. Ambrie is his light. The relationships is the thread that runs through this whole story and really pulls you in and feel involved. There’s plenty of exciting action to keep you on the edge of your seat. It’s the main characters relationship that keeps you fully involved. Part of a series this story sets a high benchmark.
Thank you NetGalley and (publisher, Little Brown Books ) for sending this book for review consideration. All opinions are my own.
