Navy Seal Gage meets Anne while he is searching for answers as to why their teammate was killed by a rocket. While investigating the two of them become close and start a romance, and the book ends with a continuation.

This is a good book. The two main characters are Anna and Gage. Anna is a photographer for a publishing company. Gage is a Seal on leave. They meet when gage comes into be a model and Anna takes pictures of him. Then all kinds of bad things happen, the publishing company is set on fire, the publishing company is ramshackled, Anna is kidnapped and Gage rescues her. There is an instant attraction. They fall in love.

I am a big fan of Leslie North and usually I find they are all very similar. I don’t know what it was about this book but I NEEDED to find out how the series continued so ended up buying the other 3 books!
The writing kept things moving and made for a read perfect for when you need to wind down.

A slow burn romance book for sure.... 8t started off slow for me and took until mid book for me to get into it... But overall it was a good book..

Who wouldn’t want a nice hunky SEAL as their model. But is that what he is really their for or something else entirely.

Well, I do rather like Leslie North romance books... This needs to be said!

But I do feel like I have read this book before...
But that is because this series is very similar in the storyline compared to her other books.

So basically, what I am saying is this; If you have read one SEAL-series from Leslie North, you have read them all... But they are still good! ;-)

A good start to a new series of men trying to find out who killed their combat brother and why. Enjoyed this one, but left hanging a bit before going to the next and then the next story. Would still recommend though, and did enjoy the characters.

This is the first book in a series about a group of Navy SEALS trying to solves their friends murder. Gage goes undercover as a male model for a book cover photo shoot to try and learn more about his late friends wife who also seems to be missing. This is where he meets Anna, the photographer for the shoot. These two have an immediate connection and are basically inseparable from that moment.

This book flew by not only because it was shorter but the writing kept things moving. One of my main complaints was the insta-love between these two in only a matter of days. Also I had a hard time connecting with any of the characters, things just felt rushed. I’m definitely curious what happened to their friend and his wife but not enough to continue with the series. Overall not bad but not great either.

Ok so solid 3 stars for this book. It hit the ground running and I felt like I was playing catch up from the start. I even checked to see if this was book two in the series to see if I missed something. It could have used a short prologue to give some context, without giving everything/anything away. The love was a bit more insta-love than I typically care for and given how short the book is (under 200 pages) there wasn’t a whole lot of time to really get to know the characters. That said, I liked both MCs and would like to get to know them more. The writing has me very intrigued for the whole mystery that has brought them together and I will definitely keep reading to see how it all pans out. This book was the fun-light type of read I was looking for right now.

This is a very good short read full of mystery, suspense and romance. Gage is part of a Seal Team and along with other members is trying to find out why one of their own was murdered. He follows a link to a Publishing Company where all is not what it seems, and meets Anna. I thought this book was well written, fairly fast paced, had plenty of action and was an engaging read. It flowed really well with some good twists. I really liked the main two characters who were well portrayed and believable. There are still questions to be answered which I’m guessing will be resolved as the series progresses. The side characters, Gage’s seal team members were just as likeable and I look forward to reading their stories in the future. I’d recommend this book/series if you like books that have an element of mystery with a bit of added romance.

Good book! Great start to a new series! This book had a bit of everything! It had suspense, action, intrigue, hot navy seals, Romance, murder and mystery! It had a bit of a who done it too! Its kind of a continuation into book two, some things got cleared up but some didn't! I definitely enjoyed reading this book! I highly recommend reading it as it was well worth reading! Gage is a super sexy alpha and member of the SEAL Team Ten. Anna works for Coran Wm Publishing, and she is a photographer. The two meet while Gage is working undercover as a romance cover model on a photo shoot. Gage is solving the murder of his SEAL Team member Nick and all the information seems to point to Anna that she knows more than she is telling. Nick’s wife Natalie is nowhere to be found. Gage is getting closer to Anna to find out what she knows. Who can Anna and Gage trust? First Anna’s billionaire boss disappears during explosion and now someone is stalking her.

Who killed Nick, where is his wife Natalie, who is stalking Anna, where is Anna’s boss, who set off the explosions, will Anna and Gage trust each other, is there an HEA in store for them?

I enjoyed this book, but the ending felt really abrupt. I didn't feel we got closure for the romance and for sure not for the suspense/mystery in the book-so 1 star off for the romance feeling incomplete and the mystery not even close to solved. It is well written and I love Leslie North, so I will be continuing the series. Thank you NetGalley for an advance copy!

I loved the story I just really wish personally that it had more meat to the story so we could see more than happens. It was also kind of Insta-love but I’m fine with that, it was cute and romantic and pretty sexy. I loved the action of this book just wish there was more to keep reading. I would recommend to anyone who loves romantic suspense but the story kind of just ends off abrupt, I was hoping for more but for what I read it is 4 stars.

Good eventful and fast-paced story with a generous mix of romance and suspense with our two main characters, and a team of Seals we hopefully will get to know more about as this series continues, bit naughty in places, but it’s what you expect from this author.

This book sucks you in and you can’t put it down. Gage is working to find out what happens on the last mission SEAL team 10 was on. In doing so he meets Anna, who is a book cover photographer, at a publishing company. Anna has something about her that immediately draws Gage’s attention. When things start to head south on this investigation mission Gage is determined to keep Anna safe. Will he be able to do so? I was given a copy through NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.

This is a Romantic Suspense, and this is the first book in the SEAL Team Ten series. This book pulled me into the story from the beginning, but the ending does leave you hanging waiting for the next book which is not my favorite thing. I loved the mix of romance and suspense in this book. I cannot wait for the next book in this series.
