Once Upon A Prime is a very enjoyable book about books, from the perspective of a mathematician. There are lots of ways in which literature intersects with maths and Sarah Hart shows that you can be literate and numerate at the same time. I particularly enjoyed the part about Eleanor Catton's Booker winner The Luminaries and knowing more about the mathematical structure of the novel made me want to re-read it.
I also listened to the audiobook, read by the author, which added an extra dimension of enjoyment as she's clearly very enthusiastic about her subject.
A recommended read for people who love books with numbers.
