This is fast paced and compelling. There were lots of twists and turns. I felt that there were too many characters. It was very suspenseful

This book lives up to it's blurb, from the start there are characters who dislike and loathe each other, setting up trails of potential perpetrators for the mysterious goings-on. Right to the end it is full of complex twists, and although I thought a couple of them were predictable, the journey to the conclusion was completely gripping. I've signed up to follow the authors after finishing this novel.

I'm 50% in and finding it a chore to pick up, so I'm throwing in the towel on this one. I feel like it's moving too slow, the characters are extremely unlikable, and these 20-something stepdaughters are behaving like spoiled middle schooler girls.

Well that was great.

I loved how many twists and turns this has, it will shock you to your core. The suprise twists had me hooked and screaming for more.

The New Wife by by Amanda Brittany & Karen Clarke was another excellent book. I was hooked from start to finish especially as it was fast paced with brilliant twists and turns throughout that will have you guessing till the very end. Just brilliant a easy read which makes it a great holiday read,

Nell is Oliver's second wife, his children from his previous marriage Ruby and Poppy openly dislike Nell and blame her for their parents breakup. They make her life hell in the hope that Oliver will go back to Fiona his first wife.

As things start to go wrong Nell does not know who to trust.

I truly loved this book with it's many twists and turns. I was gripped from the start and would definitely recommend reading this.

Some great twists in this one. Some parts are quite predictable but the very end was a surprise. I had an inkling of some of the twists before they were revealed but overall it's a fairly good thriller that keeps you reading.

I absolutely adored the last book I read by Karen and Amanda (The Perfect Nanny is genuinely one of my all-time favorite thrillers) and really thought I'd love this one too, but it was just ok. Maybe it's because I've read so many thrillers in a row recently that I'm getting burnt out, but I found it to be way more predictable and didn't feel connected to any of the characters. I'm sad that it was a little bit of a letdown for me, but I will still be reading anything and everything they write in the future!

This one hit a bit close to home. My stepchildren have been awful for over 25 years. So I found this story even more twisted than expected. The girls are rather awful and mean. But their dad does nothing to make life easier. He cannot be that blind. The girls are old enough to see life more realistic. But the book was actually interesting with twists and a cast of characters you could not tell where allegiance lies. The prop house sounds like an fun job!

These types of domestic, psychological thrillers are my favorite type of book to read so I was very excited when I saw this duo wrote another one. This definitely did not disappoint. I found all of the characters to be really well developed and naturally introduced. The drama and tension was present throughout the book which made the events feel more dramatic because you're just waiting for the big reveal. I really enjoyed the final twist but saw the main plot twist coming a bit. I was definitely shocked at the end. Couldn't put this one down. Read in one sitting because I had to find out what happened. Brilliant plotting and great writing. Can't wait for the next one by this duo.

This was an ok thriller. A few surprises. Some parts were predictable though.

Wow… okay, this book was weird and I mean that in a mostly good way. It definitely had a few things I didn’t see coming, which I always love in a thriller.

Full of twists and turns, it will keep you furiously turning the pages. Giving this one four starts ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. Read it!

I found this to be an about average read. It was fairly fast-paced and mostly kept my attention throughout, but it didn't really grip me in the way that I expect from a good thriller. Most of the characters were pretty unlikeable, so it was hard to really connect with any of them, although I would say that Ruby seemed to have the most character development throughout, and I did warm up to her in the end.

I thought the main twist was pretty obvious, but there were a few other twists and turns that I hadn't predicted. Overall, a decent enough thriller, especially if you're looking for a quick read.

This was ok. I figured out early on who was doing everything. I didn't like the ending very much, with Oliver's murder.

This book had an okay story. It definitely wasn’t my favorite. I couldn’t exactly finish it because the characters seemed a little too boring for me but i have some friends that might like this book so I’ll recommend it to them

This was an ok read.. I knew right away the gaslighter, except not exactly the reason … didn’t like the character development, and thought the lead was fairly weak. Just ok for me.
