I thoroughly enjoyed this sequel to the first book. In the second book, Nola returns to Pandorient and meets a Merlinian who ps her to become undetectable in the city. The interpersonal relationships in this book were terrific. I enjoyed the level of support the characters showed each other. I also appreciated how the characters gave each other the space to grow and learn independently while still offering support when needed. providedld offered a level of whimsy that I have come to seek out in books, making it both exciting and visually appealing. Lastly, I enjoyed the subplot of slowly learning about the world and rules of Pandorient; it has made me want to know more. I highly recommend this

I loved going back to Pandorient! The art is still as cute and colorful, the story is sweet and engaging, the characters are endearing.
I enjoy the fact that these books take us to a beautiful universe but also tackle important issues for children such as bullying and extortion.
Can’t wait for the next book!

This sequel is just as good if not better than the first book in the series. The characters are full of life and the setting is lush and interesting.

Another adorable story set in Pandorient!

Nola is the perfect main character for this series: a lonely young girl who is determined to help her new friends, even when she's unable to tell anyone else about them.

This story was a little difficult to follow at times, simply because there was a lot going on, but perhaps that was my fault for reading it so quickly!

That ending made me want to read the next one IMMEDIATELY even though I currently don't have access to it.

This book is the perfect story for both older and younger readers - a story that parents can read with their children and everyone is going to enjoy it.

OMG OMG OMG! I just read first two issues volume of this newly found adorable middle-grade fantasy translated graphic novel series in one sitting and I might just fell in love! The art style, the characters, the relationships between them and the setting! Love them all! Especially the new characters that are included in this volume are so lovely that I wanna give them a bear hug!

In short, I strongly rec this series! Go pick It up!

This magical series has magnificent illustrations and a wonderful story. The Music Box is always beautifully written. Nola's adventure in Pandorient is something I cannot be missed.

I adore this series. I love the illustrations and the story and all the characters. This was a great addition.

The graphics continue to be stunning just like the first. I think the story felt a little stagnant this time around but I can easily overlook it due to how much joy I feel when I'm reading it. I still can't wait to see where the story goes in the next ones!

For me, the highlight of the read would be the mind blowing artwork! Love it so much!

Other than this I feel the volume is just too short to make any sense of the story unless read in order with all the volumes all at once and I would suggest just that.

I feel it’s too early to say anything about the plot, the characters and how the story is going to turn out.

Will be waiting for the next volume.

The Music Box book 2 Cyprian's Secret - 5 stars

Continuing with the adventures, eight-year-old Nola sets off to Pandorient. While Nola is in Pandorient she is helping her friends uncover the mystery of who is stealing from Anton's garden.

I love this comic book style book. The adventures Nola and her friends go on and ridiculous and amazing. The illustrations are always phenomenal and filled with so many details. I love that the story of Nola and the music box has continued, it's a great fantasy graphic novel for anyone.

Nola's adventures in the world of Pandorient continue and once again I have found this story full of magic and color, lively and intriguing! We meet two new characters who will involve Nola in a new daring adventure.
And once again the story is over in the blink of an eye! Again I suggest to the authors and the publisher to publish all the chapters of this series in one volume. Reading like this will be much more satisfying!
Also because now I'm curious to know what Cyprian will do! He could be in big trouble I guess!

I enjoy this series art works. The color, the illustrations are just so beautiful.
I think students who are interested in reading comics and older than 9/10 years old will also enjoy this story.

The illustrations in this book were just as beautiful and whimsical as in the first book. I really enjoyed how the author and illustrator built up the world even more in this book. The addition of Anton as a character was charming, he is my new favorite.

I love that there are moments where the illustrations tell the story, rather than blurbing it. I didn't love the actual story as much as the first book, but overall I enjoyed it. And it ends on a cliffhanger! So there will be another, which is great!

I love this series. The artwork is so gorgeous. It has an amazing fantasy world vibe (it's portal fantasy and Nola is 8 years old) although it is for young readers. I can't resist. The humor is awesome. The artist draws perfect expressions and I'm such a fan of anime that makes me love it even more. Lots of action and different characters and locations. Well done.
This time Nola will help her friends stop an evil conspiracy. Love the cover and will be looking forward to the next episode.
