Ethan thinks it’s funny to fart on other people, especially those he loves. His mom and dad and even his grandmother tell him that it’s not appropriate or funny, but he keeps on farting.
His parents use an unorthodox way to teach Ethan how it feels to be farted on. Children who read this book will probably find it hilarious, but some parents may find it inappropriate. That being said, it works, and he learns not to fart on others, when it’s appropriate to fart, and that he shouldn’t do something that someone asks him not to do.
The illustrations are colorful and cute. As much as kids get tickled by farts, this book will be one they enjoy. It does, however, need editing.
My kids totally loved this book, found it very funny. As a mom and a educator I liked the way it was written and founded funny, only little detail I wasn't so keen with the illustration of the book.
Haha, I loved this book!
If your child is a farty pants, read this book!

Unfortunately, I was granted access to this title after it had been archived - making it impossible to access and download. Since the book is independently published, I was unable to find a contact person to request a download, and so will have to regretfully pass on giving this a review.

Ethan loves his mom and dad very much and each and every day he gives them gifts to show how much he cares. He gives them pictures that he creates, pointy sticks he finds outside, and kisses on the cheek, just to name a few. He has one special gift which is his most favourite... and that gift is to fart on them! Oh my!
Ethan giggles and laughs as he toots and thinks it's hilarious but what do his parents think about his gift? Will they go along with his farting behaviour or will they explain to him that although everyone does it it's impolite to do so on people. How will Ethan react to that parental advice?
This book's mission is to explain to little ones the appropriateness of farting. It also highlights that you should never do something to others that you wouldn't want done to yourself.
The vibrant illustrations will have kids laughing and engaged in the storyline from beginning end. The book is wonderful for beginning readers, preschoolers, kindergarten and early elementary children.
Kids love anything to do with bodily functions so I'm sure they will love this book with its sound valuable life lesson. I recommend " Farty Pants".
Entertaining and educational book about why farting is funny, but impolite. My kids enjoyed it very much.
Thank you NetGalley for accepting my request to read and review Farty Pants.
Author: C. Jordan

Genre: Children's Fiction -- Parenting & Families
The illustrations were appropriate for addressing the author's point. Jordan wanted her son to know sometimes farts are funny. In addition, she wants him to understand farting is not nice. While the book is illustrated, the tone is parental, and I appreciated that. The implied teaching method was a head shaker for me. The Uncle was well-written, and I found his storyline absolutely appropriate and notable.
I would consider gifting as part of a babysitter's arsenal.
