When the retired muse of love, Eris Ardelides is sued for not helping humans find love she needs to find a lawyer. Luckily divorce attorney Grace Gordon has offered her services. As the world falls apart around them they both start to believe in love again.
I've loved all the books in this series but this one was my favorite. I love this world that Willows created starting with the Afterlife series. The characters have just the right touch of humanity and divinity that make the books so hard to put down. I liked that this one brought in so many characters from the Afterlife series that I happened to recently read and also brought in Prometheus in a more prominent role. Grace and Eris have great chemistry and I loved the balance between romance and thriller as the court case looms. These could be read as stand alones but this is a great series that I'd recommend reading in it's entirety, maybe more than once. I know I'll be picking them up again along with any new additions as they are released.

I received an ARC copy of this book from the Publisher via Netgalley and voluntarily leaving my review.

I love this read. I love how the author intertwined the Gods and humans. Eris who is The Muse of Love is so disenchanted about love that she decides to take herself out of it. Grace is a divorced lawyer who believes that love should be perfect and won’t settle for anything less when she meets Eris and have a night of passion she jumps to defend her when Eris is being sued. I love how they both open up about each other and what they think loves should be but realize love is messy and bold and when you find the right one it can become great but it’s doesn’t mean you won’t have work at it.

Lines of love is full of joy, humor, love, and some tough love for humanity!!

Overall, the book focuses on the romance between Eris, the Muse of Love, and Grace, a divorce attorney.

While the book is about the romantic love between Eris and Grace, there is an overall story arc on the emotion of 'love' and who determines it? Humans or Gods?

Humanity demands the Gods make all human romantic relationships work out. While the Gods feels humans have free will to love. The God's believe while they hold 'energy and space' for love to be more 'known' to humanity in the end it's humans’ responsibility to love. This conflict on 'love' leads to a nasty confrontation between humans and Gods.

Grace, having had a nigh of passion with Eris, decides to jump in and defend Eris. And this starts a chain of events that leads to Grace and Eris sharing their deepest thoughts and feelings on love and romance. Eris and Grace are both soulful characters and you cheer for them all during the story!

The supporting characters in this book are amazing! I don't want to give them away, but the humans and Gods who show up are fantastic! Also, now I want a pet mountain lion! When you read the book, you will realize why!
I highly recommend Lines of Love.
