Sneaky Sophie & The Token Fairy by Angela Orams - 5/5

When Sophie cracks the code to getting things, she wants the quick and easy way, she learns a hard life lesson. Being sneaky and selfish isn't the right way to go about things, and she takes the time and chance to fix the mistakes she's made.
I love a great story that is not only entertaining but can teach children a valuable lesson and this was just the story for that.

Oh Sophie, what an important lesson to learn!

Sophie loves being first. And she adores all the attention her classmates shower her with when she looses her first tooth... what could be better? How 'bout some MORE!

LOL. Well, when Sophie realizes that her lies have an impact (the tooth fairy can't deliver coins to other children since Sophie claimed them all for herself!), she comes clean. Her honesty is appreciated by all, and Sophie learns that being thankfull and telling the truth is way better than a boatload of loot.

Angela Orams' charming story and adorable illustrations will make Sneaky Sophie & The Token Fairy a fast favorite with children and adults.

Thank you so much to The Token Fairy & BookBuzz.net and Netgalley for the ebook to read and review.

Sophie loves being first at everything and even loses her tooth before her friends. When the tooth fairy gives her a coin she gets greedy and lies to get more. Her lies have consequences and her friends get no coins from the fairy when they lose their teeth.

This was really sweet, Sophie got so swept up in getting all the coins from the tooth fairy she didn’t even think that if she had them all there would be non left for anyone else. I loved that she learnt her lesson and was able to do something even kinder for her friends to make them feel better.

This is a really fun and funny book that children will really enjoy, especially if they have started losing their teeth and you plan on using the tooth fairy as a fun thing to do with them after they do. It will show them kindness of the tooth fairy, how being given a gift can be fun but you may get carried away by the shiny gifts, and that your friends matter a whole awful lot too and they are experiencing the same thing.

Thank you NetGalley and The Token Fairy (Independent) for accepting my request to read and review Sneaky Sophie & The Token Fairy.

This lovely children's book includes illustrations that are secondary to the parenting message of the story. I appreciated the muted colors. The story itself centers around the notorious tooth fairy and a young girl who develops a plan to cash in without a tooth.

The con is exposed giving parents an early opportunity to teach what happens when you are not truthful. I found the paper coin perplexing and didn't understand it.

I do see this giftable to parents, grandparents and relatives who will know the familial practices.

With the usual and customary tradition of monetary for tooth exchange, I would not recommend this for a babysitter.

This story is about a girl who realizes an easy way to get what she wants but soon realizes she was being selfish. So she decides to fix her mistakes.
This is a beautifully written story for children to understand that we shouldn't take advantage of the things given to us. She realizes the mistakes she made and fixes it in the best way to help her classmates. I'll definitely be ordering it for my kids.

When Sophie loses a tooth and gets a shiny coin, she wants more and comes up with a plan to get more coins from the tooth fairy.

I think this story has a strong message for children about dishonesty which is a good thing. I enjoyed the story and illustrations and feel this has a good message within it.
