Full of tension and suspense which made me want to read on and devour the story. Thanks to Netgalley and the publisher for letting me review this book.

Really enjoyed this book it had me hooked from the start. I did find it a bit repetitive at parts but still an amazing read.

I would struggle to be able to review this book due to issues with the file/download. The issues stopped the flow of the book. The issues are:
- Missing words in the middle of sentences
- Stop/start sentences on different lines
- No clear definition of chapters.
- The words "HarperCollins", "Copyrighted" and "publisher" are in the middle of sentences throughout the book.
I’m not sure if it was a file/download issue but there were lots of gaps and stops/starts which really ruined the flow. I would love the chance to read a better version as the description of the book appeals to me.
Stars have been given due to the book cover being appealing and would spark my interest in the bookshop. Thank you very much to the author, publisher and Netgalley for this ARC.

Amazingly tense and suspenseful thriller that has you on the edge of your seat and wanting more. Well written and constructed, There is always so much more below than you can see, wait for the truth to surface, chilling and unexpected!

This one kept me reading late into the night to get to the end. Plenty of twists and turns and for once I couldn’t guess the outcome. Perhaps a little far fetched but we’ll worth a read. Will certainly look for other books by this author.

This is a miserable story about a family on a farm. There are twin daughters, each with their own teenage daughter, and one of the girls is injured in a fall from a bridge on the farm. The writing is really repetitive, and hints of future drama, but the suspense never builds up to anything exciting. It seemed quite mundane, and I couldn't care about any of the characters.

I have to begin by stating this book was difficult to follow at times because of the poor formatting to Kindle. It's a shame as it's a great plot. My star rating is for the actual book it's unfair on the author to bear the formatting in mind but please publisher consider your authors and readers in this regard!
Whenever Louise Jensen releases a new book I'm always excited. This book lived up to my expectations. It's full of tension, secrecy, twists, lies, and difficult relationships. I particularly liked the theme of how misunderstandings can have ramifications years later.
Jensen has a talent for making the domestic setting a place which should be cosy into somewhere unsafe and foreboding. The farm setting added to this with its own set of issues.
Occasionally the tension was a little too much with the twists and drama feeling relentless, with little time to relax and take in whatshappening. Still, this is only a small point in an overall great novel.

Well..... this is certainly dramatic lol. I did really enjoy this book, there are just a ridiculous amount of secrets and lies and twists and turns which I loved.... even if it was verging in overkill. Its a fiction book, it doesn't have to be realistic or plausible after all. It wad a bit slow to start and the editing style was a bit off for me with how the chapters ended/ started. That got very annoying very quickly! I don't even watch the "preciously on....." recap on TV series from the wk before so I definitely don't need it in the 3 second space from ending a chapter and starting the next. But yeah, it's certainly got plenty to uncover and plenty going on. I can imagine it'd easily get confusing for some people but I quite enjoyed the chaos

A story about a seemingly tight knit family - parents with twin daughters who in turn have daughters who are best friends. What could go wrong?
Well, apparently everything. I don't think any character in this comes away unscathed as the family fall apart on an epic scale.
When fifteen year old Caily is found on the bank of the river with horrific injuries she is taken to hospital and put in a medically induced coma to help her recover. As the police try and piece together the events that led to her tragic fall, the family appears to gather round only to slowly unravel and everyone appears to have been keeping secrets from everyone else. And therein was the problem with the book for me. There was just too much going on. Too much bad luck for one family to have or to cope with.
The plot worked and it was interesting to read and see what happened but it just stretched my incredulity a bit too far for a higher score.
With thanks to Netgalley and HQ for an arc copy in return for an honest review.

The fall…,,.,
Impossible to resist, impossible to predict, impossible to put down . . .
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Wow this book was brilliant, such a good read , I could not leave it down, absolutely loved it. The story was so good and so many twists and turns and such a brilliant intriguing physiological thriller I wanted to read it in one go. Up to the very last page was still shocks. Would really highly recommend this book to everybody. A must read.

The Fall centres around a family - teenage cousins Caily and Tegan, the daughters of twin sisters Kate and Beth, and an accident - or is it? - that leaves Caily in a coma. The story follows events both before and after this - needless to say, everyone is hiding secrets, and plenty of them.
I found this a bit of a slog, to be honest, and the formatting of the ebook didn't help. Advance copies are always appreciated, and I certainly don't expect them to be perfect, but unfortunately the formatting of this copy made it very difficult to read, and definitely affected my ability to follow or enjoy the story. At about three quarters of the way through I suddenly realised I had no idea what was going on, though that's probably my own fault for not paying close enough attention. It seemed at one point that people were being threatened and attacked right, left and centre, and I couldn't keep up! I did guess who was involved in Caily's fall, though - there weren't actually that many possibilities when it came down to it.
A narrative device whereby the last line of one chapter is echoed in the first line of the next is way overused here, to the point where it began to really annoy me. ("He feels he's being watched." [new chapter] "She's being watched." "Her future might rest on what he has to tell her." [new chapter] "Tegan's future could rest on what Nicola is about to tell her." "She's never felt so out of her depth." [new chapter] "Matt is out of his depth.") And so on, and so on. Occasionally - fine. But this is constant, especially as the chapters are really short, sometimes only a page. I'm sure the author thought it would make the story flow, but it feels very forced and far too overdone. There are a few instances of the wrong word being used, too ("exacerbated" is one that springs to mind, but there were others).
There's certainly a lot going on, and plenty of twists and turns. I didn't guess what would happen at the end.
Overall I'm afraid I didn't really enjoy the book, although that's partly due to the formatting issues with the advance copy. I'm sure many people will enjoy it much more than I did.

Kate and Beth are both twins and both have daughters of their own, Teagan and Cally . It is Kate and Beth’s 40th birthday and they are having a party at the farm when they hear that Cally has been found unconscious under the bridge and because of her injuries she is in a coma. Did she fall or was she pushed?
When the police are called in evidence shows that cousin Teagan has something to do with Cally accident. Why would Teagan do such as thing. The story continues showing us they circumstances that leads up to the event.
Thank you, HQ, for a copy of ‘The Fall by Louise Jensen. I look forward to a book from the author. I found this story though to be quite slow and I found it hard to connect to the story due to the formatting of the eBook I received. Due to the words Copyrighted material running through this and the missing words in the story. I didn’t think the story flowed correctly. 3 stars from me.

Lies And Subterfuge Abound..
A seemingly perfect family unit falls apart in spectacular fashion in this slow burn psychological suspense. As a surprise party turns tragic and an investigation commences, it becomes clear that this family are not sticking together as they perhaps should. Lies and subterfuge abound and secrets may well come to light. A well defined cast of characters, an engaging plot bubbling with twists and an underlying thread of menace makes for an atmospheric read.

Fifteen year old Caily is found unconscious under a bridge after her mothers birthday party and she is in hospital in a coma. The family try to put together the circumstances that lead up to this accident.
This story has some interesting characters and some twists and turns.
Thank you to Netgalley and HQ for my e-copy in exchange for an honest review.

A family in crisis after the fall/push of Caily- a daughter, cousin and granddaughter- was it an accident or something more sinister.
Quite a slow start to the story. It has many strands, maybe too many as it becomes quite confusing at times.
I definitely didn’t work out all the sub stories or the ending so be prepared for shocks.

Thanks to Netgalley for allowing me to read this book in return for a fair review.

The Fall is a fast paced thriller which kept me on my toes. A real who done it and i changed my mind constantly which is just how i like it.
The only negative i have is that it was so badly formatted, HarperCollins, material and Publishers appeared in large letters constantly and made it difficult to read.
Having said that i thank netgalley and the publishers for my copy.
A good solid thriller which i do recommend.

I'm so glad this family isn't real, as I was most entertained as it fell apart on an epic scale.
Everyone had secrets, everyone telling lies.
All the while the tension of waiting to see if Caily comes out of her coma, and if she remembers anything.
All the plot threads tie nicely together.
Not sure I always found it believable, but it was fun to read.

Firstly, thank you to Netgallery, HQ stories and Louise Jensen for the ARC of this book in return for an honest review.
Louise Jensen is queen of thrillers! I’ve read all her books so I was ecstatic about getting my hands on her latest one! Wow what can I say this book was amazing, it was a fast paced and kept me guessing throughout a perfect book for psychological thrillers fans alike! The ending wow and I did not see it coming! This book was so good I read it in day!
Overall I throughly enjoyed this book and all the plot twists that it presented! Louise Jensen definitely should be on everyones shelf!

The setting of this book, a farming family in financial difficulties with ailing parents and teenagers to look after was very well described with lots of little details that brought home the family tribulations. With that in mind the red herrings planted along the way led (for me) to a completely unexpected string of twists that left me astounded at the assumptions I had made from my detective armchair!
Some great characters and a well paced novel.
