I've read and loved the author's previous books so I was keen to read this one and I'm glad I did. I found it so interesting to read more of Will's life and to see how he became friends with Maxey, and the way their friendship waxed and waned over the years but like with all the best friends the years fell away every time they got back in touch. There is hardships and ill health along the way but the connection between these two men always remained. I read this book all in one sitting and I very much enjoyed it. I recommend it!
