This is a fun retelling of the popular boy who cried wolf. Love the inclusion of another culture!

a really fun book about soccer and a very dramatic boy. it's telling you that if you make a habit of lying, then people won't believe you, ever. the latina mix is interesting, and the concept also fitting with the world cup happening

a cute spin on The Boy Who Cried Wolf- in the eyes of a soccer player. Overall, this book had a good message- do not fake being hurt.
I like the added Spanish throughout the text- great way to expose children to another language. Any soccer fan would enjoy reading this story!

A young enthusiastic boy tries to play his best at soccer but he gets disheartened in the field ashe did fake being hurt and he does learn a lesson in a big way.
