Saint is the prequel to the Fable series, a series which I thoroughly enjoyed. Saint himself was such an intriguing and fascinating character in these books and I was completely on board with a book about him and jumped at the chance to read and review an advanced copy. In this instalment we follow Fable’s parents’ romantic adventures on the high seas as well as getting some insight into some of the other characters in the previous books too. I completely immersed myself in this story and didn’t come up for air until I’d finished. I really enjoyed reading about Saint and Isolde’s union, their connection and then slow burn romance. It’s not all about the romance though, Saint works tirelessly to fulfil his dreams of becoming a fully licensed trader and to try to make a name for himself. His passion for the sea shone through, never happier than out at sea and being wholly uncomfortable on dry land. It was wonderful to see a lighter side to Saint, who came across as somewhat cold and heartless in the previous books and it definitely changed my opinion of him.
I adore this author’s style of writing, her books are effortless to read but well written and immersive. She is one of my auto-buy authors and I can’t wait to see what she come up with next.
Thank you so much to the publisher for my eARC via Netgalley.

Saint and Isolade.....
I absolutely loved this. Going back in time, how it all began. Where Fable came from.
Their first meeting gave me shivers!
'Those narrowed blue eyes had left a feeling like fire everywhere they’d landed and I could still feel it now, the ghost of it alive on my skin.'
Loved seeing Saint and Clove's friendship,
Loved Saint and Isolade,
Their connection,
A true love story
It was perfect.

Huge thanks to Titan Books and NetGalley for the arc of Saint by Adrienne Young in exchange for my honest and unbiased review.
I remember reading and totally falling for Fable but, there was always a little voice in the back of my head that kept asking for more about Saint and Isolde…Saint is my wish come true. You know they always say be careful what you wish for…well, this wish came with all the stories and gems.
This is the backstory to Fable that readers asked for and it was truly a joy to read. The world of the Narrows envelops you and sailing once again upon those stormy seas is truly an adventure.
Young has truly created a world of adventure, intrigue and stormy seas that totally pulls you into its depth. A great prequel that answers so many questions about Saint and Isolde. Definitely not one to be missed if you loved Fable.

Thank you to the publisher and NetGalley for this eARC of 'Saint' by Adrienne Young.
I've had a hit or miss with most books by Adrienne Young and sadly this adds to the miss category.
As much as you can see the love Adrienne has for her characters but I don't know, this book fell flat on me. Theres not much more I can say than that.
