I found this particularly useful whilst starting a new job and going through a lot of changes in routine and my general life!
Manifestation is a topic that is of huge interest to me. I enjoyed listening to this as an audiobook and thought it was lovely that it was narrated by the author. It was a basic insight into changing our ways of thinking. I think that books of this nature are very same-y and once you've read one you've kind of read them all but it was enjoyable enough and gave me some food for thought.
Audiobook was great and enjoyable. Manifesting is a really positive thing to do and was easily absorbed whilst listening and getting into the 'zone'.
Great for someone who enjoys the spiritual side of life.
Thank you to HarperCollins UK Audio and Netgalley for an advanced audiobook in return for an honest review.
Interesting but not really adding anything new when it comes to the art of changing your conditions by changing your mindset. If you want a boiled down version though, I'm sure this will be invaluable.
I was interested to try this book on manifesting as it's a subject I find fascinating. However, due to time issues I wasn't able to finish the audiobook completely. What I did listen to was interesting and well narrated. Apologies.
Loved this book and I'm inspired to go into 2023 manifesting my dreams.
The author gives some background into why you should be manifesting your dreams, but mostly this book is full of practical steps to refine your goals and learn how to make manifesting these dreams into reality.
The book is short and compact with everything you need to get started.
I listened to the audio book which was easy to follow.
***AUDIO BOOK VERSION***
The Art of Manifesting is a great book to listen to as an audio book. I have read a few books about Manifesting but this is my first book on audio about this subject.
The narrator has a very calming and soothing voice and I enjoyed listening to this at times I wouldn't be disturbed.
The book not only inspires you and gives you the tools to tap into the universe to create changes for yourself (for the positive) but also helps you to view life and situations in a different way. I think most of us have heard the terms "you are what you think" or if you only think negatively only negative things will happen" - this book helps you to understand that we all control what we get put of life and how we react to things matters. The information is explained in a way that is easy to understand and I enjoyed the real life examples included throughout the book. These helped add a layer of further understanding to the listener/reader. I will be revisiting this book again and again in the future.

The Art of Manifesting was a great introduction for beginners to the Law of Attraction and other laws of the universe. It was explained really well with some interesting examples of people who had used these laws and changed their lives. There were plenty of exercises and meditations which were engaging and cemented the ideas in this book.
However, as someone who has read a lot about this subject, this book didn't really offer anything groundbreaking. It was a nice way to rediscover the topics though! The Audio version did have several mistakes in it though which was highly distracting and made it feel very low quality.
I loved this book. I experienced the audio version, and feel that the narrator's voice was perfectly suited to the content.
As for the content itself, I found it really accessible. Carolyn Boyes takes the mystery out of manifesting, and presents the Art as something anyone can do with practice. There are practical exercises that are easy to understand, and are presented in such a way that they would be easy to incorporate into a daily routine.
This book may not convert die=heard sceptics (but then, few things will!), but it is certainly one I will return to repeatedly.
This book doesn’t cover new ground but it does present manifesting in an approachable, practical way. There are plenty of tips and guided meditations to keep you on the right track, and lots of advice about what to do and what to avoid. Boyes sets the tone in a very relaxed manner, making this the ideal book to listen to at bedtime.
*Unfortunately the audiobook I listened to had a lot of mistakes and ‘pick-ups’ that hadn’t been edited so the delivery was not as smooth as it could be. I hope this can be rectified before the paying public receive their audio copy.
A wonderful glimpse into the art of manifesting. Beautifully written and articulated perfectly in this audio book.
Full of useful tips and helpful guides to start you on your path to living the life you want
Thank you Netgally for the audio version of this book. All opinions are my own.
Please have a look for the blurb of the book elsewhere here are my thoughts only.
This is the first book on the subject I’ve ever read so I have comparison to another book similar to this one. I think I can say it was a good instruction as it was easy to follow and the language was super simple a little too simple in my opinion.
As I’m reviewing the audio version I don’t know if the printed copy has charts or samples of imagery to see in more detail what the author is talking about.
I didn’t like the narrator at all, I know it’s read by the author , and sometimes is really good to have a book being read the way it was intended, but here is where the audio experience was a bit of a let down. Her voice is nice and soothing but there’s a slight saliva sound that was very distracting (I know not everyone gets annoyed by that) and once you hear it you can’t just un-hear it.
When it comes to the concepts and writing style I think is very standard, If this is one is the only book you ever read about the topic then I’d say is absolute non sense. But if you have a little more background knowledge then it could give you a bit more insight and maybe more structure on the whole manifesting thing. I liked the guided meditations and some of the quotes too.
Personally speaking I feel this subject sounds very middle class/ white privilege.
Not sure if I will read another book from the author or the subject.
Disappointing and more of the same self help book talk. I wish there was more info it than the usual basic things. The quality of the audio was quite good though
I’ve worked on manifesting before so a lot of this wasn’t new to me. However it served as a good refresher and has a lot of good ideas. Well worth reading if you want to start introducing things into your life
This was a really interesting audiobook, which I found fascinating and talked about how you want to manifest something. You have to make a main priority in your life. You have to remind yourself very often that’s about the story of the author of Carolyn‘s journey with manifesting how she went, from being a non-believer to a believer and the way in which is amplified her life, which I thought was very interesting as I’ve looked into manifesting before, and I wanted to see a more personal approach to this type of belief system so I are really endearing and knowledgeable to read. I would highly recommend someone reading this as it’s very educational.
This book made a lot of sense to me. I took notes and will follow through in a positive way, I really needed this…I want to be more open and see a better future. I will buy this audiobook and keep it as guidance.. I want to change somethings in 2023 hopefully through manifesting what I want…. it will happen. There are some great techniques and advice on here, thank you.
**Listened to the audiobook**
I enjoyed listening to this book. There wasn't really anything new, that I had not heard before - but it was a great little refresher.
I found the narrator very comforting and warming - so was perfect for this book. I am a big fan of authors reading their own audiobooks.
As this book is so short, it's something I can see myself revisiting a number of times.
Straight to the point writing which i really enjoyed, got through the audiobook really quickly first time and have started to read again so i can do the exercises. If you want to learn more about manifesting then this book is for you.
Easy to follow chapters and simple exercises to test the theory and more importantly yourself and your goals. .There was some great quotes and affirmations also. Thank you #NetGalley fro the audiobook to review.
This came across quite preachy, it didn't seem very accessible to the average person unfortunately. It also seemed to spend the first part talking about meditation rather than Manifesting
'The Art of Manifesting inspires readers to discover how to tap into the universe to create change.'
This book didn't necessarily tell me anything I've not heard before, however, it did pull all of the information together very clearly and concisely. The chapters were well laid out and I enjoyed the real life examples that were given throughout the book; it helped to show readers how the techniques can work on a practical level.
I listened to the audio book, which worked really well, especially for the sections that included meditations.
This was a quick listen, but probably one that I will go back to multiple times as there as lots of elements that I would like to incorporate into my life moving forwards.
My thanks to NetGalley and the Publishers for sending me this ARC in return for an honest review.
