This is a children's book that I read to my twin boys. I found this book to be cute and fun to read. I loved the pictures in this book, and I loved all the animals in this book. I loved the message in this book, and I really loved how the message was delivered. My boys loved this book too. I have brought a copy since reading the ARC copy I received.
This sweet story about a little green truck giving gifts to his friends is perfect for the season of giving. Not only does this story show the joy of both giving and receiving gifts, but it also shows how you can give gifts that are something others really need and that are helpful for them. Sometimes those are the best gifts.
The illustrations are beautiful too, very bright and colourful. They draw attention to the book and keep the attention too.
This children's book is adorable. The green truck named Chip drives around and gives gifts to all his friends. Each friend is grateful for their gift. All the gifts given relieve stress for Chip's friends. I think it is a cute story to read during the holiday season. Although I dont believe this story really teaches any kind of valuable holiday lesson about family or friendship, its still adorable. The artwork is great. Overall, cute children's story.
I don't think the level of reading rigor is the same on the first two pages as the rest of the story. It starts with simple sentences and progresses to complex ones. Very much still on a lower reading level.
What a cute story! My car loving son is going to love this title- the illustrations are very nice and the repetitive pattern of the text is good for emergent readers!
