two sisters try to turn their Dad's potting shed into a garden center. very sweet story, was a quick read.
I received this book from Netgalley in exchange for an honest review. Unfortunately I have to say that this book was pretty average. It was far too long for everything that happened. A whole lot happened and yet at the same time, not much did. There were so many different storylines and honestly I don't think that they were all necessary. As a main character, Maddie was exhausting. Her constant need to apologise and the negativity was too much. While it was understandable at times, I found myself annoyed every time she had a new challenge to overcome, purely because of the way that she dealt with it. Ed was a wonderful character and I'm shocked at how patient he was with her. Also, I felt as though Jo's storyline was a bit of an afterthought to add more dimension to the story. I felt it just made the story longer without adding to the core of the book.
This was a wonderful book of how plants qnd. And flowess heko people qnd get them through hard times. This book is approved by netgalley and the publisher for me to read and review.
A sweet story about two sisters trying to make a go of their late dad's dream of turning his nursery into a garden center. Despite difficulties of a new big box garden center and with the reno, they create a small family at the Potting Shed. I enjoyed the characters and storyline.
It was brilliant to be back at the Potting Shed but you can read on its own. Loved how they moved on with the plans and the work with children. Some nice twists. Your past can catch up with you.. I felt for Jo and I got a bit confused with his story. A good read. Much enjoyed.
Enjoyable book with great characters and story. Sadly though, I did not read book one (this is the second), so I did not catch the early development of the romances and the story hints of the past were not something that I could follow that well. My fault of course, but do recommend this book, but encourage you to read book 1 first.
