First of all I want to say thank you to Netgalley and the publishers as I received an advanced reader copy of this book to read in exchange for an honest review.

This is the 3rd book in the Jansen Brothers series and follows Wes Jansen.
The story follows the growing friendship between Hailey and Wes that does end up in romance but it's a bit of a slow burn. I also didn't feel (personally) drawn in to Hailey's salad business. At times I wanted to bash Hailey over the head and tell her to stop being so stubborn and just let Wes help her but at the same time thought it was bit forward of Wes to keep trying to thrust his money at her!

I thought the book was an okay read but I wasn't really captivated with this one.

This one was a quick cute read. Is a part of a series but can be read as a standalone. Is also a slow burner as first the friendship is developed and then turns into romance. I wasn't a fan of the drama at the end and the fact that a happy ending has to end up with someone married and/or wanting to have kids.

It's brilliant. It is well written, with a good plot and the characters are credible with plenty of romance.

A very cute quick read that I really enjoyed. Filled with characters that I adored and a storyline that had me smiling all the way through. Friends to lovers, which is one of my faves, and felt very realistic and very refreshing.

A fun twist on the meet cute, with some great chemistry on the page! I found the salad bar absolutely delightful, and loved the way Hailey and Wes navigated their relationship despite the speed bumps!

I really enjoyed the premise of this book. I also enjoyed the characters, but at times I think I found this book putting too many hurdles for the characters to not get together. The ‘oh we’re just friends’ got too flimsy that I’d have loved to have seen that resolved faster.

I’ve been lucky enough to follow @authorsophiesullivan since the very first book and I can safely say each book delivers.

Sophie writes a beautiful and gorgeous read. A Guide to Being Just Friends is fantastic, definitely a favourite of mine.

Wes and Hailey are just gorgeous. This is a superb couple who are guaranteed to make any reader fall in love.

This is a read that has had me laughing out loud. Once I’d began, I became unwilling and unable to put this book down.

This is definitely a swoon worthy read! I have loved everything about this one and cannot wait to see what Sophie has in store for readers next.

This is a gem, worthy of all the stars and praise. This is a gorgeous read from beginning to end.

When I heard comparisons to When Harry met Sally I was sold. It started off well and was a cute read but then the story started to drag. An ok read but nothing stand out.

Absolutely divine read.
Sometimes you want a "will-they/won't- they" trope, where you know what you're getting but your heart stil flips along the way.
All characters were well developed- the bonds strong and realistic. I was truly rooting for the MC, who were utterly adorable.

You know when you just find a book and it's epic and fantastic and you just enjoy it so much? That was me with this book! I loved it and definitely would recommend to a friend.

Firstly, thank you Netgalley and to the writer/publisher for allowing me an ARC copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

I loved this book. Sullivan's way of writing had me hooked from the word go. I usually love a first person dual pov book, but i enjoyed the third person dual pov style portrayed in this story. I read this book as a standalone, and although this is third in a series, I don't think this mattered and didn't take away from the story. I am so excited to read the others in the series to better understand the supporting characters.

I really enjoyed how Hailey and Wes met and their growth as individuals as well as together. I do not want to spoil the story for anyone but if you like witty romcom's with strong FMC and misguided MMC's trying to fix the world's problems with money, then give this book a go. I devoured it in one day, and it's definitely one of my favourites!

I really enjoyed this book! I loved the characters and the friends to lovers slow but not too slow burn. I’ve already read how to love your neighbour and now I need to go back and read ten rules for faking it!
Such a cute romance, definitely recommend!

When Hailey and Wes find each other in a disastrous meet cute that wasn’t even intended for them, they embarrassingly go their separate ways. But when Wes finds Hailey to apologize for his behavior, they strike a friendship. Because that’s all this can be. Hailey doesn’t want any distractions. Wes doesn’t want to fall in love.

I really enjoyed this one! It was a fun concept and I liked the main character a lot. I respected her wish to do things on her own and not really rely on anyone else to make her dreams come true.

Wes was perfect and I did really love his character and the way he cared for Hailey.

Overall, I rated this 3.5 stars!

I enjoyed this book. I just felt it was a little slow for my liking. It was a very easy read though.

This was a cute friends to lovers rom-com.

Wes and Hailey made great main characters.

Unfortunately I found the miscommunication a little too much.

A Guide to Being Just Friends is a cute quick read filled with witty one-liners, romance and salad bowls! Neither Hailey nor Wes are looking for love when their lives intertwine, but typical for this genre, fate has other ideas. I can’t say too much without adding spoilers, but the ‘Meet Cute Trope’ are going to love this new release.

For my preferences, unfortunately, I was expecting more. I couldn’t relate to the characters or their connection, and it lacked that spark for me. Despite these flaws, I haven’t been put off reading the other two books in the series. It is not overly awful, just not highly wonderful, either.

Absolutely loved the book. It was my designated gym book so I found myself wanting to go on the treadmill just to get some more reading done AND I was smiling the whole time.

Thank you to the publisher for my eARC copy of this book. Unfortunately I didn’t love this book and therefore didn’t finish, I just didn’t connect with this one. Not for me, sorry.
