Love Laura Jane’s books. Definitely an auto buy author for me. Adored this book. Such a different story

This book is a heartwarming and charming romantic comedy that has emotional depth as well as comedic moments. The story follows a woman figuring out love, self-acceptance, and the unexpected connections life throws at her.
The way it is written is both fun and heartfelt, with just the right balance of lightness and sincerity. While the story covers familiar themes in romance, it stands out for its focus on being true to yourself before diving into love with others.
Ultimately, *Lovestruck* is a feel-good, heartwarming read, and I really enjoyed it!

A good read. Very sliding doors 'esque'. The two different scenarios were intriguing.
A great ending.

Lovestruck is a delightful romantic comedy with a fun twist: it’s got two love stories in one. Becca Calloway is ready to find "the one" and even holds a manifestation ceremony to kick off her search. When her ex, Mike, reaches out right after, Becca faces a dilemma—should she reconnect with him or move on with a new love interest?

The dual timeline approach is a clever touch, showing how Becca’s choice plays out in two different scenarios. It’s a blast seeing both potential paths and the little crossovers between them. Becca’s friends add plenty of humor and charm to the mix, making this a sweet and entertaining read that keeps you hooked until the last page.

A sliding doors-style romance, yes, please! This book was filled with heart and so much fun, I loved some of the one-liners. This was an easy read that I consumed very quickly. I loved getting to know Becca and the people surrounding her, I often changed my mind on which path she should choose.

A fluffy romance with a twist indeed. Once it became clear where it was leading, I found myself really cheering for the characters and the ending - super cute.

I loved this story, it was a great variation on the Sliding Doors theme. One single decision and two vastly different results. It was great fun to see the two threads slightly overlap or brief glimpses of the other timeline appearing in the existing one.

So the main decision is: following a manifestation session in which Becca says her goal is to find Mr Right, she receives a text message from her ex-boyfriend Mike, the one who got away. Her decision is whether she should reply to the text, or, block his number and leave things be.

So the story splits. 'Yes, she Texts back' and ends up meeting up with Mike and rekindling their old romance, enjoying having him back in her life, reconnecting with his family and being welcomed back into the fold. Before long, she and Mike are back where they are, and heading closer to the happy ever after Becca was dreaming of.

Alternatively, 'She Doesn't Text Back' and she attends a party where everyone brings someone they wouldn't date themselves and meets a younger man, author Noah Brooks and enters into a whirlwind, walking on clouds, romantic relationship with him and within a short amount of time she's head over heels and also heading towards a happy ever after.

So which of the Mr Rights is the real deal and which is destined for heartbreak? The answer was not what I was expecting at first and I had my favourite of the two men until things started changing and twisting and the ending was perfect,

I loved the side story of Jia-Li and her unplanned pregnancy as well. She was such a good friend and confident to Becca and Becca in turn was a great support to Jia-Li throughout her pregnancy in both timelines, as it played out slightly differently depending on who Becca was dating,

My only niggle on this book was the fact it was written in the third person and I'm so used to the first person these days, so that took a while to get used to.

A fun and exciting read, I truly enjoy Enjoyed this one as a fun inbetween book, while this wasn’t my all time favourite read I did enjoy it at the time and enjoyed The storyline.

While this wasn’t my favourite I’d recommend if you’re looking for a cute and fun pallet cleanse in between other books as it’s just such a cute story!

Love Struck offers a captivating exploration of love’s unpredictable nature, while the book has its engaging moments, I couldn't quite get into the writing style or really connect with the romance whcih prevented it from being a standout read, leading to an overall three-star rating.

I LOVED Becca. She was an endearing protagonist, full of relatable quirks and her journey through the highs and lows of love is both authentic and engaging. She was easy to root for!! I am a sucker for books that have themes of "the power of choice", so there were very much things that I did enjoy.

I don't understand the purpose of this book. There seemed be be nothing really happening and I can't even say the characters got me through this book. This is the second book I've tried reading by this author and I can't say the last one was gripping either.

It has been a while since I was surprised by a romance, but I really did not see the ending of this book coming & after my initial shock I was completely on board.

Although a little slow to start/potentially took me some time to get to grips with the timeline, I was soon hooked. We follow Becca through two potential timelines in an attempt to manifest her true love.

A really fun book, recommend if your looking for something fun and a little different!

Thanks to NetGalley and the publishers for this ARC

Since her first novel, I’ve eagerly awaited follow ups and more from Williams and I have to say I throughly enjoyed this one.

There were moments of naive thinking from the MC but everyone experiences wanting to be loved and wanting someone to love them, so she makes for a relatable lead character.

It may have been done in books and films before but I really enjoyed the what if aspect of this book, you could see merits of both men and less so in them too. It made the overall reading experience more exciting as you pondered who she’d end up with.

This story was great fun. One person with two alternative lives happening side by side, with a very clever conclusion. Some well described characters who kept the story moving steadily forward. Great conclusion!

I absolutely loved this book! It was not my first Laura Jane Williams book and it will not be my last!

I loved the how the two timelines intersected occasionally and the characters were well developed - really makes you think about how one small choice could take your life in a completely different direction at any given time!

Becca’s friends were absolutely brilliant and often had me laughing out loud with their banter. I read most of the book with a big cheesy grin on my face! I had no idea who to root for or where this was going so the twist was incredibly well done.

Loved it, as I do all LJW titles. Captivating characters and plot and joyous with some surprises.
A fab concept.

I really enjoyed this lighthearted, summer read. The dual timeline was great for the reader as it allowed more depth to the story - almost like the pros and cons of the choice she had to make.. The characters were well developed and I really liked the FMC. Becca had a decision to make and we are taken on the dual POV of the decision.

It was a great, easy read. Thanks to Netgalley for allowing me access to this ARC
