The humor, the art style, the great plot, the pacing....what a great story! It's short, but manages to pack a lot of witty turns of events without making them seem rushed or underdeveloped . Serine surprised me so much, she's a great protagonist and heroine! Loved this graphic novel and truly recommend it if you're looking for a quick, light read and tons of court intrigue.

This book is such a fun read and I love it so much! It was so entertaining and serves justice to those who do ill wills. The ending is my absolute favourite as I didn't expect it to turn out that way. All in all, such a fun and meaningful read that I highly recommend!
Like someone else said, the font size made it a bit hard to read. I really like the illustrations and the story was pretty fun to follow along to. A larger font would really help with readability.
This was a fun read about court life and a strong female character! Although I liked the illustration style, I found it a bit hard to read on a digital screen due to the size. The best bit definitely starts when Serine transforms herself in the jester.
Serine is determined to become a lady in waiting to the queen. However, once this happens, she realizes court life is not as easy and glamorous as it seemed. Once she is dismissed by the queen and abandoned for dead, she decides to cause some chaos in the court by returning as a mysterious jester.
This definitely picked up once Serine returned as the jester. Before that, I found it a bit slow. The illustrations were also not my favorite.
