With Freida McFadden books I don’t need to read the description I know that it will be fantastic. So I knew this book would not disappoint and it did not. You can read as a stand alone book but having the background of Millie from the first book gives you a bit more background on the character. It is a fantastic thriller which keeps you one edge until the end with the twists and turns.

Well it is a Freida McFadden book so I knew it would not disappoint and it did not. You can def read as a stand alone but having the background of the first book is glorious. I love Millie and her spunk and she almost met her match in this one but never underestimate her!!

Gosh Darnit Freida, you did it again! I could NOT put this one down. It was sooooooo juicy, suspenseful, exciting, and I am a big sucker for revenge plots!!! This one moved it's way into my favorite book of the last few years! Excellent. Would 100% recommend. Thank you to the Author, publisher, and to NetGalley for the ARC. Ohhh so good. I hope there is more of Millie to come :)

Again Freida did not disappoint and kept me guessing from the moment Millie walked into the penthouse and was told not to bother the wife since she had health issues. Of course Millie can’t help but talk to the wife. Then the twists begin.

Wow! What a crazy ride. Loved the first book and so looking forward to this second in this series. Millie is back and trying to help another wife who is being mistreated…but once again all is not what it seems. Douglas Garrick is a super wealthy businessman who hires Millie to cook and clean for him and his sickly wife Wendy. At first, it seems like the perfect situation. But soon Millie realizes that something is a bit off in the penthouse. She hasn’t met or seen Wendy..hearing only sobbing and other strange noises coming from behind the bedroom door. Enzo, Millie’s ex boyfriend is no longer in the picture so it is up to her to decide if she can help this abused wife. Things quickly escalate and once again Millie finds herself in the middle of a very bad and quite twisted situation. This book was entertaining from beginning to end., keeping the reader on a roller coaster ride throughout. . I look forward to more books by this author. Solid 4.5 stars read for me.

Freida has done it again! This book just gets better and better. Every time I thought I knew what was about to happen, I was shocked all over again. There were so many twists that left me wanting to keep reading. I read this book in 3 hours! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

This book had me gripped from beginning to end as all McFaddens books do and I didn't want to put it down until I was finished!!!! Tons of tension and lots of true "McFadden twists" throughout the book building up to a mind blowing ending!!! McFadden is a masterful storyteller and I sincerely hope she NEVER stops writing these absolutely brilliant books!!! I highly recommend this book!!!

Another flawless hit by Frieda McFadden! This book continues on with Millie as she works for a new household. Not only does the book fill in the gasps from the last book, it brings on a whole new crazy story that will make this book hard to put down! Just like with The Housemaid, I constantly thought about this book when I wasn’t reading it. Warning: if you think you have it all figured out, think again and keep reading!

AMAZING. I can say without a doubt that anytime I read something of Freida’s that I will be shocked beyond belief. Thank you so much for allowing me to review this thriller as it did not disappoint at all! 5 stars!

Freida is back at it again with a banger of a thriller. To say my socks are knocked off is an understatement. I’d give it a 100/10 if I could. It’s rare I like a sequel better but this will do it!

Oh my goodness! Freida has outdone herself again! I absolutely couldn’t put this down! My mind was racing the entire time and I found myself with an increased heart rate the whole way through the book! I did not expect the twists that it had, but was so excited that it played out like it did! This was a 5/5 for me and I can’t wait to buy a hard copy! 😍

Millie Calloway is back! In this book, Millie is also studying to become a social worker, but in order to make ends meet, she still works as a house cleaner for wealthy families in Manhattan. Looking for her next cleaning job, she receives a call from Douglas Garrick, who needed her services and clearly instructed to not bother his wife who is ill. Aside from her past that she has been keeping from her boyfriend, she also secretly known to these Manhattan wives her ability to help whoever is in need to get out of an abusive relationship.

I just love Millie’s character! She has a heart of gold, and while she helps women fight for their rights, she is not evil; although….you don’t want to mess with her either. I found some parts predictable, then you flip the page and it tells you that it’s not all that and another twist is coming. It’s a fun sequel where you find a some reference from the first book, The Housemaid.

I have read all Freida McFaddens books and this one takes the cake. The many plot twist. The smallest details that ends up being a bigger thing. The character development. It's unreal how amazing this book is. I hope Freida makes this in a series, I would love to see how Millie keeps helping others. Beautifully written book. The best of the best of Freida's so far.

Almost as good as the first!! Love McFadden and all her books have such fun twists. This one was no different. Although I thought the first was written a bit better I still thoroughly enjoyed this one and didn’t expect the ending. I’m really loving Millie and I hope there is more of her to come!

Well, Freida McFadden does it again! In true Freida fashion, the twists and turns are perfectly timed. I read this book in just a few hours. I can not get enough.
The Housemaid’s Secret brings the heroine Millie back. A fresh start with a new employer, or so she thought. Mrs. Garrick needs her help.
The shocking twists that follow will keep you reading and wanting more. We hear both sides from Millie and Mrs. Garrick. This is personally one of my favorite styles of writing.
If you loved The Housemaid, you will not regret reading The Housemaid’s Secret. In fact, it is a must. You will not be disappointed.
I really enjoy all of Freida’s novels. She truly brings thrillers back to where they deserve to be.

Oh my Lanta~ This... had a lot of unexpected twists! Just how I like my thrillers!
I have to say, a Dr. who writes psychological thrillers is just ingenious!~
The sequel to The Housemaid's Secret was phenomenal. Readers who haven't read The Housemaid, the first book in the sequel, can read this novel alone without missing a beat.

As always, McFadden never disappoints and handed me everything that I look for in a psychological thriller on a silver platter. Most of her novels are binge-worthy and can be read in a sitting or two. I couldn't put this down, and I was so excited I got approved to read this I couldn't wait.

Just like The Housemaid, the first chapter grasps your attention, and gives you a glimpse of the chaos that's about to unfold in your brain. You'll, absolutely, be drawn in. Per usual, I appreciate the short chapters, that's jam packed with events - another reason why this novel is a fast read. I found myself reading, and rereading sections thinking "oh my !@#$." Unlike other thrillers, I also found myself laughing at the comic relief (which I always appreciate). I had to remind myself to close my jaw at moments and the epilogue was just... *chefs kiss* 🤌🏻 Overall excellent.
