quick read but very interesting plot and good erotic scenes with good dialogue!

I personally loved the vibe between the two MC’s. It didn’t feel forced nor rushed, something that tends to happen a lot with novellas. I love their dynamic and interactions. Would’ve even liked a longer book, as I was very hooked by this one.

A quick read but with excellent erotic scenes and an intriguing plot.

Lexi gets a proposition from Molly about why show owns a card that belonged to a former lover of hers. I liked the vibe going on between the two MC's. There was nothing forced about how Lexi and Molly were drawn to one another and how they interacted.

I would have loved for the story to be longer as I am very curious how they left off but it's not a necessity.

Interesting concept for a novella. Pleasant and quick read. Writing style pulls you in.
Very different from most of my reads, but I loved the idea of it.
The playing cards and the story behind them were interesting. Loved the follow up of the initial scene between the main characters.

A weak entry. The characters were not well developed, and the plot is weak. I would not recommend this book.

A very intriguing read which will surely entertain you and keep you on the edge of your seat with anticipation for whats around the corner or i should say whats contained on the next page.
Definitely a must read.

I enjoyed this book - it was spicy, steamy and the concept was fantastic. I wish we would've gotten a chance to know the characters a bit better, a deeper look into their lives would've created more of a connection but the book was incredibly well written and I'll be keeping my eyes open for more of Piper's books!

This was steamy, spicy and just too short. I really would have liked some more character development in this because it had the potential to be amazing. The writing was great and I found it to be so intriguing.

I wish this book was longer, I feel like there was so much opportunity to expand on the premise, ideas and characters!

Overall though it was a great read. Fun, clever and a little bit naughty. I will definitely be looking out for more from this author.

Hotel Fantasy - Piper Jordan

I want to thank Netgalley and Bold Strokes Books, Inc. for the advanced copy of this book but I struggled to connect with the story line or characters, unfortunately I just don't this this one was for me. I was hoping for a little more build up of tension and a deeper understanding of the characters.

This was a very short and spicy read. I loved the idea of an all-female run fantasy sex resort and think we really need more of that irl 😂
It was a very fun ride and cocept, loved how great the insta-love trope was done 🙌

Not what I expected. I needed a longer story seem a bit farfetched!! There was absolutely no chemistry between the characters.

Rating 2.5/5. This rating was hard for me to actually come up with a number. I tried to weigh my personal preferences against the actual writing itself. I was not aware that this was such a short story, and while I knew from the description that it focused on two women, I wasn't expecting the book to be solely their story. This type of book was just not for me. I need more back story. I need more depth to the characters. I need more built up sexual tension. It was unrealistic to me that Molly just showed up and Lexi agreed without any hesitation. It felt too unrealistic. I think the plot had a lot of potential and I think the book would have been better suited for a longer read!

Hotel Fantasy is a short story/novella about FMC Lexi, a hotelier in Las Vegas. Our MC created a female only fantasy resort off the Vegas strip. This hotel has rooms for any fantasy the customer has in mind. It's created for wealthy, private women - no men allowed.
I found the premise of the story to be very interesting. A deck of cards that are used as Texas Hold-Em foreplay. There was potential for this story to have dynamically layered characters and storylines; but it doesn't. The only brief glimpse we have into a storyline is one evening and morning with Lexi and her mystery women. There was no plotline, no detailed setting, and a very tertiary "cast" (I am using that term very loosely) of characters.
The steam isn't overly enticing but it's the only writing in the book. The characters fall for each other in a matter of hours, they literally don't know a single thing about each other but find they're falling in love. It's unrealistic and clichéd.
I don't think I would read anything by this author again. I am disappointed that the idea for this story has been taken, as it could have been turned into something really great - ala Hotel Magnifique, but for lesbians.

Not usually a cup of tea, but this book was too shabby. It was not the hottest book I have ever read but it was different than any I have read. I liked the setting of the Hotel Fantasy and how they have the different sets/scenes that are the themes for the rooms. But more than that I liked the whole playing card base to the story. Not going to lie…….I wouldn’t mind getting a similar deck for my husband and me. (Just sayin’)
I can’t say that I would have read more pages for the plot though.

This wasn't necessarily my type of story. It was actually my first time reading F2F erotica/romance. I did however, like the story. I like the presence of women in power, not only in the corporate world but also in the bedroom. The spicy moments were done in a subtle, sensual manner, not over the top and down right dirty in most erotica/ romance. I was definitely left hanging at the end wondering what Molly's decision would be. Over-all this was executed well if there were a continuation of their story I wouldn't mind reading it.

This book was a quick read and so good! I loved how there was so much smut, but still managed to fit a story line in as well! Will definitely read more from piper!
