Fighting for freedom comes with losses and wins. This is Wey and Ol's story. They fight against the evil humans for freedom while clinging to friendship, love and ultimately each other. A fascinating read that has some twists and turns as well as parallels with historical moments.
A dark fantasy but for me it could have been so much more. More suited for a younger audience.
Thanks to Netgalley and the publisher for the ARC in return for giving an honest review.
A dark fantasy book that uses a familiar plot with a unique twist. This is my first time reading this author and getting a book from this publisher. It has potential for a sequel; time will tell if the author writes anything more.
Blood of the Hunted had me hooked from the very first pages. I love that the book starts of in the middle of a climactic scene; this is what really gets me involved when reading a novel. The plot really flows and does not leave any boring scenes in my opinion. I look forward to continuing this series as the characters are well developed and their personalities are relatable. Marc. R. Micciola knocked it out the park with this title, and I look forward to seeing more from him as an author.
