My Review: It's a nice, racy story told from the perspective of Bell and Chase. Both have an incredible chemistry with each other. Chase owns a naked Sphinx cat called Mike Hunt, yes, you got it. I chuckled at the Pretty Woman reference and designers. It's a well written and engaging story. Funny in parts, serious in others. The family and business dynamics drive some of the scenes. I definitely think it's a beach/ holiday read. Watch out for falling artwork ;o)

i loveddd this book! Bell is such an amazing character and I genuinely loved her so much. This book was also absolutely hilarious! I loved the banter and chemistry Bell and Chase had as well! My only complaint is i’m not a big fan of the insta-lust trope. i wish we could’ve seen their relationship develop more rather than have them instantly attracted to each other. overall, i still really enjoyed this book and i definitely recommend!

This was such a fun rom-com. Chase is a wealthy heir to a family department store but is somewhat of the black sheep of the family. When his brother is ready to sell the store, Chase makes a deal to step up to run the store and right the ship towards profit.

To aid him, Chase hires the best marketing firm he can find, headed up by Campbell (aka Bell.) Their connection is instantaneous, their attraction electric.

The story is made even better by Chase's sister, a hairless cat (and all corresponding jokes), Elvis, and so many other great supporting characters.

This was a really fun read! I really enjoyed Chase and Campbell's relationship and the humor in this one was great. Sara's writing reminded me of Meghan Quinn's which was so much fun. If you are a fan of workplace romances, add this one to your TBR immeditately.

Seriously, this one has the HUMOR and INNUENDOS going from the word go... not to mention the windows ALL fogged up!
Don't believe me? Would you believe that a 20/30-something straight male is sitting in a park with a hairless pussy cat in his jacket, while ordering flannel shirts to keep him warmer and give him some cred? The cat not the man because he is definitely ALL man...*ahem*...but back to those jokes, the cat is the result of an ended relationship (she cheated, he kept the cat), and he named it...Mike Hunt. I know what you're thinking...where's the joke? Try saying the name in your head a few times and remembering the type of animal, even the breed of animal it is. Go ahead...I'll wait...and remember, if you're in public, the blush may cause questions! (LOL!) Anywho...

All joking and jokes aside, though they are aplenty and come from every angle, the story underneath all the steam is top notch. He's trying to prove himself and make a point with "dear old dad" (said VERY sarcastically), while saving the family legacy, his sister's future, and his pride. She's made a name in the business, but growing it further requires new clients, and this is a VERY BIG client she couldn't pass up... while leaving her past in the past. They can keep their attraction under control, right? I mean, they are business people, know how to play the game, know when to pursue or pull out...and I'm dropping that line of questioning now because it's getting risqué. Chase and Campbell are a powerful duo, both in and out of the board room, and watching the sparks fly, the tension build, and their business personas battle with their emotional wildfire was too much fun! Especially when they get the better of Stan...or even Denise...or anyone else that tries to cross their path with anything other than a team player attitude because they are in it to win it...and if lines get blurred a bit along the way, so be it! (Note to readers... they most definitely blur!)

Come for the story, stay for the laughter, and watch if you're reading by the windows because there's definitely a steam factor that won't be ignored!

ANYONE BUT THE BILLIONAIRE By Sara L. Hudson

Self-made mogul Chase Moore is a charming hound dog with a hairless cat and a family business to save. He was fine being the spare to the heir until the family's billion-dollar business threatened to go belly-up. Powerhouse marketing guru Campbell King returns to Texas and launches her own company after being chewed up and spat out by the city that never sleeps.

😊What i liked -

✔ Workplace Romance/Forced Proximity/Forbidden Romance/RomCom.
✔ OH god i laughed so hard with this one that it was painful. (a tip- do not read a rom-com if you are already in pain. It was fun but painful)
✔ I fell in love with both their characters. Their chemistry is ooo la la.
✔ The banter, the puns and the innuendos are top notch.
✔ But my absolute favourite of the whole lot was Mike Hunt. He stole the whole damn show.
✔ This book was an absolute treat. It had drama, banter, heartaches, reunions of sorts and good old smutty spice. (mind you not too smutty)

🤔What could have been better -

✔ I so wanted more of Thomas and Cambell's interactions.
✔ I really wanted to go inside the book and sock the h*ll out of the father.

This is an amazing book! The story pulls you in from the start and it never gets boring. There’s constant action happening and the plot twist was marvelous. I did not expect THAT to happen!
I love Campbell and Chase and I learned to love the other characters as well. I kinda wish we had more of Leslie and I sure hope we get a story on Ashley too.
All in all, a perfect rom com and I’m so glad to have read this!

Anyone But the Billionaire is a fun, raunchy rom-com that you can read in one sitting.

Anyone But the Billionaire is perfect for bookworms who love to read a romance on the racy and crude side of the romance spectrum. There is plenty of spice and lots of sexual innuendos in this book. It’s an easy, breezy read and a fun way to escape the world for a few hours. This isn’t the typical romance book that I would read. I tend to sway towards the more charming romances, but I always like to try and read something out of my “comfort” zone every once in a while. Overall, I enjoyed the story. It was sometimes predictable, but I loved Chase and Campbell’s humour and spicy banter. There is also plenty of family and workplace drama that kept me entertained.

There are characters in this book that I think will get under people’s skin because they just ooze that toxic male culture that was so prominent in the past. Reading the scenes when these male characters were belittling Campbell made me feel like I was reading something set in the 1970s or 1980s. I was not too fond of these characters, but I loved how Campbell handled them. She took no crap from anyone and was unafraid to stand up for herself. She put them in their places in such fun and smart ways I really couldn’t help but cheer her on.

You will enjoy this book if you are a fan of workplace romance tropes. There is definitely an insta-lust vibe between Chase and Campbell. The attraction was there right from the beginning, sparks flying off the pages whenever these two were together. Sara does a great job at building up the tension between these two characters and making her readers want to keep on reading to see what would happen next between them.

Anyone But the Billionaire is a fabulous steamy workplace romance.

Thank you, Rachel Random Resources for the ARC in exchange for an honest review.

Chase has taken it upon himself to save the family business. But when he hires Campbell King's company to sort out the marketing for the company he can't seem to separate business and pleasure.

This was a fun and laugh-out-loud romance novel which I couldn't help but love from start to finish.

Chase and his three siblings are completely different and fighting out their differences in the novel just made them more realistic. I loved the character of Campbell, her feisty nature and standing-up-for-herself attitude made me want to always be on her side in any argument.

Hudson gives us the perfect amount of spice, a storyline we are excited to follow and innuendos everyone will be laughing at.

I will be looking out for this author again and look forward to reading more from them.

First off I want to thank @netgalley, @boldwoodbooks, @rachelsrandomresources & @sara_l_hudson for my free ARC copy in exchange for an honest review.

My heart ! I am absolutely and totally in love with this book. From the first sentence Hudson had me laughing my ass off, and continued all the way to the end. For example the hairless cat named Mike Hunt…(My Cunt) was hilarious. This was the perfect mix of sweet, adorable, sexy, hot, funny romance. This was honestly one of the best books I've read this year.

Apart from the hot sex and tension that Campbell and Chase have which is not overbearing at all there's actually a deeper story with lots of character growth. I really enjoyed having all those aspects mixer in together. The attraction between both is off the charts and you will fall in love with both of them and the hairless cat right off the bat.

I loved loved Hudson's writing style it was so effortless, easy to binge read and honestly laugh out loud funny. I haven't laughed like this in a book for a while. I think she's one of my favorite romcom writers, I will definitely be reading everything she writes. I was completely hooked to the characters, rooting for their happy ending from the start. Campbell (Bell) and Chase were easily relatable with real life issues that made their emotions reflect through the pages.

I am completely in love with this book, consumed by it and cannot wait for the second one in the series. The story's complexity, the character growth and the humor in this book is going to stick with me for a long time.

If you want a laugh out loud, sweet, sexy, complex romcom, do yourself a favor and read this ASAP !

I have to admit this isn’t my usual genre of romance that I choose to read, I read a lot when I was younger, but I hadn’t read any in a long time (not mentioning how many years have passed since !) But I was so delighted in reading this and made me question why I haven’t read the billionaire (they were millionaires in my teens I’m just so old now 🤣) romances in so long.

This was a wonderful read, it was so much fun, full of humour, charm, great chemistry, romance and perfect level of steam. I loved Chase and Bell’s relationship, they’re great characters, Sarah has the gift to write realistic and believable characters, we can’t not mention Chase’s cat, I love any fur babies in a story they add so much more fun and I loved Mike !

It was so good to see someone standing up to their family in this, how Chase stood up for what he wanted, I loved how much fun he was as a character, as opposed to a broody and moody billionaire that you usually get. Overall I can recommend this to anyone who loves romance, wants humour and some lovely escapism, it’s really a great read.

Thanks to Sarah L Hudson, Boldwood Books and Rachel’s Random Resources for a free e-book in return for an honest and voluntary review, all opinions are my own and freely given.

This is my first book by Sara L. Hudson and I absolutely loved it. I am definitely adding more of her books to my TBR.
There’s something about a wealthy man who is actually a nice person and a little bit vulnerable that really appeals to me. Add in a moderate sprinkle of sexy sauce and you’ve got a wonderful romantic comedy in Anyone But The Billionaire.
I adored Chase and Belle’s characters. Their banter was hilarious and kept me laughing throughout the book. I prefer romance that is lighthearted and funny with a simmering chemistry flowing beneath characters and that is exactly what I got in this book. Chase is funny, kind and loveable with a mischievous personality who hides his issues behind jokes. I love that he’s not perfect and I enjoy seeing characters unwrap their external layers to reveal their true selves. His cat Mike Hunt is hilarious and a great character addition too. Belle is feisty and fierce and had a comeback for everything said to her. I adored her and love how she was a strong force to be reckoned with.
I thoroughly enjoyed Anyone But The Billionaire and had so much fun reading it. I am over the moon to discover this is the beginning of a series and I cannot wait for the next book.

With tense scenes as the story opens, we get a glimpse of the dysfunctional Moore family. A ruthless patriarch, a cold mother, and 3 hugely different siblings, they could easily be part of a glossy TV series. The focus is on independently wealthy, Chase Moore. The younger of two brothers, he is fiercely protective of his younger sister. As a board meeting results in Chase taking the reins at the family’s prestigious Manhattan department store, the scenes are set for the introduction of marketing guru, Campbell King.
Chase and Campbell are oozing with chemistry and the question isn’t whether they will they get together, but how quickly? Of course, Campbell and Chase are both determined to remain professional, so their dalliances must remain behind closed doors.
Chase is almost a caricature of a wealthy playboy. He’s made his money away from the family business and has a non-committal attitude to relationships. He struggles to understand his desire to spend time with Campbell, not just in the bedroom, but all the time. Campbell is wary of getting involved with anyone, particularly a client. As the story unfolds, we learn more about her past and why she lives in Houston, despite her heart being in New York.
The exchanges between Chase and Campbell are well-imagined and I found myself laughing out loud on more than one occasion. Of course, the scenes with the hairless cat are excellent and a great source of entertainment.
Once the initial sizzle is under control, we then learn more about the characters and their pasts. We also discover more about the dynamics of the Moore family, and secrets are revealed.
Yes, this is a sexy romp, but the story at the book’s heart is a good one and well worth exploring.

This book is a fantastic contemporary romance I was obsessed. The strong-willed characters are fantastic as a couple and I love the romance element. On the flip side though Chase and Campbell are great characters individually too. I loved this, it was so much fun, humourous and I was smiling constantly and I am desperate for a sequel 5 stars and a new must read author.

This is a fun, steamy, contemporary romance
Where Campbell King unexpectedly gives Chase Moore a chance.
She's launched her own marketing company
Just what Chase needs, as you'll soon see.

Chase has been brought up as not the heir
Instead of that he's the useless spare.
However he's bright and an entrepreneur, too,
Successful, in business but not what the family do.

When his elder brother a mess of the family business makes
Chase takes the challenge to see what it takes
His father makes drastic conditions and is hateful, too,
So read the story to see what he'll do!

A marketing guru, determined not to succumb
Despite their mutual attraction, she thinks it'll be dumb.
With old enemies and others out to ruin their chances
What is the prognosis for their possible romances?

A steamy read full of rivalry and romance
With family drama, laughter and disaster, why not give it a chance?
For my complementary copy, I say thank you,
As I share with you this, my honest review.

I loved this book. It was super cute, sweet and hilarious romance book. The two main characters were on fire both together and individually. The storyline was fun at parts and deep at others I was honestly hooked on this. The best part was Belle being so kick ass!

I loved this book and can not wait for the rest of the books.

Overall: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Spice: 🔥🔥
Angst: 💔
Tropes: Office Place Romance, I we shouldn’t but I can’t help that I love you

I loved this book, hands down LOVED IT. I think the characters were so dynamic and intriguing. Chase started off as a character you would assume thinks with his dick but evolves and actually has so many hilarious intricacies. I loved how all the issues were handled and none of the complications felt forced, all of the things that got in the way seemed natural and understandable coming from two people who had as much baggage as Chase and Bell. The only reason it's not a 5 star read is because I struggled with pacing. Truly, if I am being honest, the best character in this book was Mike Hunt, a true hairless icon that I will think of in future and I am guaranteed to laugh. I definitely recommend this book to anyone looking for a good laugh, maybe sigh at the characters' brief inability to set aside their issues but then put the book down with a smile.

Warnings/Triggers(Spoilers Ahead):
<spoiler>

PARENTAL ISSUES:
Mention of parents who died in a car crash, nothing super in detail.
Chase struggles with his relationship with his parents and at some points it is really hard to read. At the end of the book there is mention of a divorce and parental infidelity.

Will they be able to trust enough to band together against the true culprit …

When this book was offered as a blog tour, I choose to stray for my usual path as I tend to avoid contemporary romcom, my modern knowledge of American jokes / puns / references is rather lacking why I stick to historical for romantic comedy.
But I am someone who appears to have a love for beating oneself, so I wanted one more try with crossed fingers the humor would not be off the mark for little me.
The opening pages were hilarious, I instantly fell in love with Chase and his hairless kitty Mike Hunt (I had to research that…)
Chase has the reputation of a playboy, as whatever he did or does, he is seen as the rebel son, the spare, in any way interesting for his jerk of a father ( and I am nice here to call him such). So when unexpectedly his older brother, heir to the empire did quit, he steps in despite his sire’s wrath.
Bell has rebuilt herself away from the city that crushed her but never was able to destroy her will.
So when she is instantly attracted to the man offering her a way back to the big apple, she knows it is a very bad bad idea.
But when the chemistry is mutual, what is she to do, worse, where will it leave her/them when the past catch up with her.

Around Bell and Chase, there are her team, his siblings and her shark of a lawyer friend, they make all for more entertainment and an opening for next book.

Another hilarious, witty, and straight up swoony book by the talented Sara L. Hudson. After falling in love with her writing in her Space Series, I had high expectation for this book and it did not disappoint.

First off, this book is straight up hilarious. With a hairless cat named “Mike Hunt”, the comedy was rolling from the very first chapter. Throw in the perfect amount of Elvis references and it’s just a recipe for humour. Then we get realistic, deep characters who have messy pasts, baggage, and pretty terrible luck with hot beverages. Wrap it all up with amazing side characters, both good and bad. There are people you love to hate, and people you love to love. It’s truly a well written, funny story with depth and heart.

This book is available Jan.31! And bonus: TONIGHT we are going live with Sara!! Tune in at 7pm Eastern to join is!

Thanks to @netgalley @bookandtonic and @sara_l_hudson for this eARC. All opinions are my own.

What book have you read that had amazing animal side characters?

I loved it! Chase and Campbell are so perfect for each other and I was a sucker for every single interaction they had.

After taking over the family business, Chase contacts Campbell to develop a marketing plan that will help create an online presence for his family's department store Moore's but right after they meet the realize they have undeniable chemestry and there's nothing thay can do against it.

The family drama was something I never saw coming and the third act was soooo good, it had everything I wanted and more!

The side characters are lovable, it was a light and funny read and it was amazing to be able to see Chase and Bell grow together and work over their own problems.

5/5 stars for me and waiting for book 2, can't wait to read Thomas and Alice's story.

Thanks so much Netgalley and the author for this ARC in exchange of an honest review.
