I loved this book! I finished it in one day because I couldn’t put it down!
Bell is a marketing exec from Texas brought in to help a NYC retail store. Chase is the “spare heir” of the retail store that his father (who has little faith), is giving a chance to prove he can run it.
This was somewhat spicy and extremely funny! I loved the characters, especially the cat named Mike Hunt! It was a fun, quick paced read that I really enjoyed!

This book absolutely surprised me, I wasn’t expecting such a funny story. The writing made it even more enjoyable and it never bored me, I devoured the pages without even realizing it.
I loved Chase’s character, funny, always horny, able to be serious when needed and completely obsessed with Bell (we love a man obsessed with a woman).
I loved Bell, her being a successful business woman who doesn’t need nobody to do her job.
The happenings were a bit predictable but not annoying. I liked it. 4.5⭐️
I read this under the title "Anyone But the Billionaire", I'm assuming it is set to rerelease at the end of the month under the new title?
Thank you to NetGalley and Boldwood Books for the opportunity to read and review this book.
A hairless cat named Mike Hunt. If that isn't enough to make you pick up the book then keep reading I guess.
Okay I'm already a sucker for the billionaire trope but this one I extra loved! Bell and Chase are so entertaining together and I would read more and more of them.
Bell is in marketing. Chase is in a position to turn around the family business after his father runs it into the ground and the brother that was supposed to take over walks away.
Golden boy, Thomas, decides he doesn't want the family business after spending his enter life shadowing their father? Just walks away after being the ONE child their father was ever nice to? Fine. Chase will step in despite the fact that their father treats him like crap, has no faith in him and actively works against him. Enter Bell, she's got an up and coming in the spotlight marketing company and Chase decides she is the one to help him turn it all around.
There are a lot of Elvis mentions, previously mentioned Mike Hunt and grand gestures gone wrong. The number of wrenches thrown into these twos plans is a lot. Some hurt the heart, some are just funny and in the end it's HEA.

I absolutely loved this book. Campbell King and Chase Moore are workaholics who pour everything into their work. They have also been burned by people they trusted. These characters are adorable, complex, full of love for their family, and a little bit silly.
This was disappointing. I liked the idea of a Texan marketing phenom going to New York City to help a high-end store reverse its downward slide while falling for the hunky owner. Campbell is a confident woman who isn’t intimidated by any of the sexist and corrupt people she encounters. Chase is charming and has the financial insights to save his family business. It was everything else that was irritating. Chase and Campbell are so attracted to each other that they’re constantly having sexual thoughts about the other. We have to constantly read about Chase’s physical response to Campbell. A little bit of that is fine, but it just got repetitive. Throw in an evil father who, for totally unbelievable reasons, has alway hated his second son and a despicable former co-worker of Campbell’s who had earlier destroyed her career when she’d worked in New York City. It all became rather cartoonish.
I voluntarily reviewed an advanced reader copy of this book that I received from Netgalley; however, the opinions are my own and I did not receive any compensation for my review.
Anyone But the Billionaire is the first book in the Anyone But You series by Sara L. Hudson- though this book was previously published under the title of A Little Moore Action- and this book was every bit as entertaining as it was the first time I read it.
4.5 stars
I am 100% a rom-com addict and this story was packed with all the entertainment that I adore in rom-coms. Bell and Chase's workplace romance had all the witty and fun banter, twists and drama followed by a grand gesture that I'd pay to see in person. Not only that but the chemistry and tensions these two had together was absolutely fantastic. I loved the voice that Sara's writing gave to these characters- not only did they have great dialogue between the characters but their inner voice/thoughts had me feeling connected to the characters while also cracking up throughout the story.
Anyone But the Billionaire is a pretty quick paced book- a lot happens in what logistically in the story is a short amount of time but it didn't feel too rushed. Chase is the flirty and easy going successful businessman with a soft spot for his hairless cat, Mike, and his family's retail store. While he likes to put on the facade of being the unaffected playboy just to irritate his father and older brother, he really has much more of a tender heart and just wants to be loved. Bell is a strong, sassy, independent marketing business owner with an Elvis obsession and shadows in her past that keep her guarded. The attraction is instant and overwhelming- and working so closely makes it hard to ignore.
I really had a fun time reading this story again- it is definitely a rom-com worth repeating. Now that I've had a taste I can't wait for more of the Moore's and I don't think I'm the only one that feels some tensions brewing between T-Money and Alice 😉
I just loved this book. Funny, irreverent and romantic. The hairless cat is a star, as are the co workers and Leslie the very excellent lawyer. The romance is there all the way through, with no messing about, but it is all the work issues, family drama and Elvis songs make this such a cracking and joyous read.
This is a spicy and cute novel featuring a hairless sphynx cat, a man who can never seem to live up to familial expectations, and a cute redheaded marketing genius trying to start over after a scandal left her rocked.
This story was heartbreaking but also hopeful and uplifting. I loved how Chase and Bell worked together to help Chase save his family business. The entire side plotline with Chase's evil dad and his mom and siblings really made this novel what it was.
I enjoyed this read a lot.
Super cute book, low angst, and loveable cast of characters including Mike the hairless cat!
My first book by Sara L. Hudson, I would definitely seek out more of her works after reading Anyone But The Billionaire! Chock full of Elvis jokes and a fast paced storyline, there were several laugh out loud moments that I really appreciated and I hope we get to hear more about Thomas and Liz in the future!
I thought that this was a really enjoyable story!
The book had a good storyline that was well developed although it was a little slow in places for me that lost the great flow that the author had built up
The characters were well developed and I loved getting to know them.
An amusing, romantic and sexy story – I loved it
It is 4 stars from me for this one, highly recommended!

Campbell King is at the top of her game. With a successful marketing business she is now sought out to help businesses to thrive. One such company is the esteemed Moores Department Store. A long time New York establishment it is now failing to live up to its name. In comes the dashing Chase Moore who hires Campbell to put them back on the path to success.
I admit I was hesitant to read this book. I tend not to pick books with sexy men on the front. Add to this the crude language used frequently in the beginning, I wasn’t too keen. Now don’t get me wrong. I don’t mind an open door romance but just found some of the crude references unnecessary.
All this being said, I persevered and ended up really enjoying this book. I found the storyline interesting and fell for the characters. They had substance and revealed life experiences that impacted their ability to love others and themselves. I also enjoyed the quick witted humour making this a book I would easily recommend.
Many thanks to NetGalley and Boldwood Books for the opportunity to read and review this ARC.
I really enjoyed this! It was a fun, low stakes read. It was relatively spicy and extremely funny. It was witty in all the best ways. The only downside is the slow was odd a bit as some aspects of the story felt rushed and others went on for two long.
Both characters were likeable on their own and even better together. The side characters were entertaining and the entire plot and dynamic were great.
this book had it all for me. Gave me the feels and witty and lovely. Liked it all. This was my first book from the author and really liked it. I will read more.
The characters are amazingly developed, and it is hilarious and engaging -- not to mention witty and steamy! -- all the way through. A fun afternoon read that will leave you relaxed and prepared for new day.
