Ohhh the nostalgia and comfort from this book series!!
I absolutely loved the community spirit surrounding the event planning. And how the characters from the other books in the series were interwoven was genius.
So cute.

Nice little easy read. Not your typical love story, as Maisie and Colm already had history, but your usual boy/girl romance after that. All goes swimmingly, little bit of drama, then back to it. I do enjoy this series of books, I’ve read them all, and I will continue to do so.

Perfect read! Great to be back in Cornwall with characters from past books and some new ones, human and animal. This is a standalone book (however I heartily recommend the whole series). This book gives you all the warm, cosy, happy feels, it’s like being back with much loved family and friends. I loved the story, the setting and all the food mentioned! Heart warming romance.
Thank you Netgalley

Maisie Winters, content in the idyllic Cornish town of Port Karadow, cherishes her life filled with photography, her job at her dad's shop, and her rescue dog. However, when Colm Caffrey, a figure from her past, returns, old emotions resurface, challenging Maisie's peaceful existence. Colm, having spent a decade abroad, stirs up Maisie's former feelings. As they navigate a potential second chance at love, Maisie wonders if time has changed their fate or if they are destined to be together.
Maisie and Colm emerge as captivating lead characters in this narrative, and their chemistry and shared history add a delightful dimension. Maisie's positive approach to life and her unwavering commitment to the beloved community make for engaging reading. The story unfolds as a perfect romantic comedy, evoking dreams of Cornish beaches and festivals with cream teas.

I really enjoyed this novel which is about Maisie who has happily stayed in her Cornish village after school, much to the chagrin of her mother and her sisters who have moved away. However she is happy with her job, friends and dog until her childhood sweetheart returns home and she starts to question her life and role. Would recommend

A brilliant read and one I really enjoyed. The characters are loveable and varied, the plot is one that is engaging and medium paced. I found myself completely drawn into the story and enjoyed the writing style.

Maisie is living her life exactly as she wants to though not all her family agree. She finds herself getting involved more in the local area before a blast from the past returns. Maisie isnt sure how she feels about him being back but maybe its her chance to complete her life.
This was a good summer read. Its a little slow going at times but still worth the read, especially if you love a romance. The plot is as expected for a story like this but I like how the ending came about. This wasn't too heavy on a misunderstanding and we really see Maisie find and accept herself. Her dog is awesome and of course my favourite character in this. He steals the show but its perfect. A perfect beach read.

Thanks to the netgalley for the chance to read this book.
We return to Port Karadow for Maisie’s story.
Maisie has a great job in the her dads shop, adores her rescue dog and lives to take photos of the landscape she loves.
Both her sister and friend have left the little town to chase their dreams in London and New York.
With the return of her teenager crush Colm, Maisie’s feelings start to return and she begins to ask herself if she is missing out by staying in the little town.

This was my first Cressida McLaughlin book but it wont be my last. I wanted to read it as it is set in Cornwall which I love but haven't visited for a few years now.
Maisie was a lovely character who appreciated living in Cornwall though her mother thought otherwise and questioned Maisie's decisions in life. It appears to some that she has a small life, but she loves her life. She is a kind-hearted person who loves Port Karadow. She is a determined person and it was a lovely beach read to see her succeed though with a few wobbles along the way. You could picture the places from the descriptive writing.
I look forward to reading the other books in this series and getting to know the characters better.
Thank you for the chance to read this book.

In the charming Cornish town of Port Karadow, Maisie Winters has created her idyllic life. She enjoys her job at her father's shop, cherishes her rescue dog, and indulges in her passion for landscape photography. While her sister and best friend ventured to London and New York to pursue their dreams, Maisie has always remained loyal to her beloved town.
However, everything changes when Colm Caffrey, her long-time crush who has been abroad for a decade, returns to Port Karadow. Old feelings resurface, and Maisie finds herself questioning if there might be something significant missing from her seemingly perfect life.
A heartwarming story of love, self-discovery, and the possibility of finding happiness where you least expect it.

Another wonderful book from CressidaMcLaughlin. A beautiful setting with great characters, some familiar from previous books, some new. Loved it, definitely recommend

Thoroughly enjoyed this story, it was a lovely read and the characters are brilliant and so likeable.
Having read all the books in the series I was really excited when this came out

Another delightful story based in my favourite part of the World .Once I start one of these books I can't put it down. They highlight the characters of the Cornish and their ability to put on great shows of all different kinds. This was a great love story with its ups and downs and a group of friends all out to help each other. A lovely story with a brilliant conclusion.

I really enjoyed reading this lovely summer romantic book from one of my favourite authors, Cressida McLaughlin.
The story is set in Cornwall, England, with Maisie and Colm, who were teenage sweethearts and are now being reunited. The setting of the book is really lovely, and I enjoyed all the descriptions of the area. The characters are lovely too.
If you are looking for a light, easy to read, uplifting and heartwarming summer book to take on holiday with you, or to read in your garden, then you will love this book. Highly recommended!
Many thanks to the author, publisher and NetGalley for a copy of this book.

Another soothing read from Cressida McLaughlin; it's full of the characters from her Cornish cream tea series and I love the crossovers of their stories!
It's an easy read; charming and delightfully predictable. It's one I looked forward to picking up, like catching up with a friend.

I love this author and have read and enjoyed all of the Cornish Cream Tea Bus series. I thought this was a new series and new location, but we are back in Cornwall in the little seaside villages of Porth Karadow and Porthgolow that I know so well from the previous books. It was so lovely to be back and to meet some of the characters that I've met before.
In this book we meet Maisie Winters who lives and works in Porth Karadow. She works in her father's shop and whilst everyone else has left to pursue their dreams, Maisie stayed behind. When her former love, Colm Caffrey returns, she finds old feelings for him begin to rise to the surface again. I loved Maisie's character, although she really needed to learn how to say no instead of taking on so many jobs for everyone around the village. Colm was also a very likeable character, but he did seem to be carrying a lot of baggage upon his return.
It was lovely to be back amongst the villagers again and I enjoyed seeing them all again at the Porthgolow Festival! As usual the book was filled with lots of fun and laughter, alongside the family and friends dramas running through Maisie and Colm's stories. The storyline was wonderful and the location was perfect warming my heart as I read. This is definite the ideal summer escapism! Would recommend!

Back in Port Karadow with characters old and new. Maisie’s story this time .
Part of the Port Karadow series but a standalone book
I really enjoyed the locations, the characters and the storyline .
Pure escapism- you want to be there
I would recommend this book
Thanks to Netgalley, Harper Collins Uk and Cressida McLaughlin for letting me read this book in exchange for an honest review

Another lovely feel-good romance in the Cornish Cream Tea Bus series. I enjoy this series; they are great fun and represent perfect holiday escapism.

Another great novel in the Cornish Cream Tea series so there are loads of familiar characters. However, if this is your first in tge series you’ll be fine without reading the others.
Maddie is a great character- dingle minded in what and who she wants. She’s strong and capable and talented in so many areas. Colm is omg gorgeous and wonderful. I loved this book and the positivity of the story. I loved Sprout, especially at the end, even though it could have ended disastrously.
I want more from this series- perhaps a story for Marcus?

I didn’t realise this was from a series of books. I wouldn’t have selected it had I known. But I’m glad I did I loved this book. Perfect location thst made you feel you were right there. I did got right in. Lovely feel good book to get lost in well written, I need to go and find book 1 now
