Great read.

Just the kind of fluffy romance needed to break up the more intense or angst reads.

The characters are engaging, the plot is quick without being rushed and it’s just a romance that generally makes you feel good.

My only complaint is the lack of smut 😂

Loved this, I think the author has set the bar high here. Will look forward to the next book and hope it is as good as this one. Overall 4 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

My Opinion

I got off to a good start with this book and had high expectations. Unfortunately for me I found that this was a book I could easily put down - on each sitting I really struggled to get pulled in. This was a charming book but sadly I just didn't connect with it.

Had me hooked from the first sentence. A funny, cleverly written novel with just the right amount of romance. 100% recommend giving it a read!

Fun rom-com, overall an ok read but there were a few things I did not love- the romance is only really towards the end and didn't feel like the build up was done properly. The main character felt a bit flat and self-centered. I didn't always like her actions which came off as a bit childish.

Thank you for my eARC of this book. I enjoyed this one but had mixed feeling about the main character. Her destructive behaviour felt a little much at times but in the end I felt it was addressed and well-balanced. Sometimes it felt a little superficial but I liked the journey she went on. The romance element was a little predictable but in a lovely way!

This book was absolutely brilliant! I loved how easy this was to read, as the chapters were fast-paced and gripping. The concept was funny, lighthearted and definitely kept Bella's story flowing. Watching Bella's character development from chaotically unlikeable to somewhat loveable by the end felt seamless and inevitable - I loved relating to her panic at her nightly mistakes and found myself laughing aloud at some of her biggest blunders!

While normally in these type of stories I'd point out the neglect in terms of giving the male main a personality, I felt that Marty was padded out enough for me to like him from the start, and where he was lacking, the story made up for in eventful moments and funny banter.

Ultimately, this was such a good read to have alongside my studies: a quick read that was genuinely entertaining and put a smile on my face.

I did enjoy this story; it has several laugh-out-loud moments that had me in hysterics! However, I had a hard time connecting with Bella, she goes through a lot but I feel that her problems are self-made instead of something that occurs that’s out of her control. So, she ends up doing everything wrong until she does it right. It’s an enjoyable read but a predictable one.

The novel explores themes of love, family, and personal growth. The writing is engaging and descriptive, allowing readers to vividly imagine the characters and their surroundings.

Such a good and intelligent rom com! This novel made me laugh and cry in equal measure, and I was left wanting more of the main character’s adventures!

A fun and entertaining read. Will Bella get her fairy tale ending after meeting a lot of frogs? Fast paced but kept your interest - I would have liked to have had more of an epilogue though.

This book was fun and very entertaining and quite a quick read, I liked that it wasnt the typical romance book and focused on growth of the character, who at times could be a little ditzy. it was the perfect read for the commute where you can escape, even if some parts did make me laugh out loud.

Great light hearted read from beginning to end.

At first i wasn't sure what to make of this as i felt the heroine was entirely self absorbed and very selfish. But then i quickly realized she was on a path to finding herself when things around her were changing and she'd still get to find her 'fairytale ending'. Its hilarious throughout (smurfs had me howling) and i was so happy the hero at the end was the one i was counting on. Will definitely be reading whatever comes next

A super cute, modern day love story. I thought the main character was great, she was annoying but within reason, as change gets to us all differently, and I'm so glad she got her happy ending. I really enjoyed it. A lovely light hearted story with such fun characters. Thank you to the author, publisher and netgalley for an e-arc in exchange for an honest review.

Oh I just loved this book! It reminded me very much of Dolly Alderton’s ‘Everything I Know…’
The depiction of female friendship is just beautiful and so relatable & the fairytale element is so clever!
