This was a very cute and creative way to help children learn their colors and shapes in a book about animals! Thank you NetGalley for the chance to listen to this book in exchange for my honest feedback!

This is a continuation of the same wonderful board book series. Simple concept in this case shapes, animals to go with them, and amazing graphics that will have kids reaching for these board books over and over and over again.

The book represents a fun experience for children to learn shapes and animals who have the same shape as the one they try to teach to the young minds.
The drawing, colours and the entire book will be for sure useful not only to be used at home but as well as in kindergarten. It was an enjoyable relaxation moment for me to read and see the images represented in the book. For sure I will use this with my little one in her experience of learning shapes.

Encourage young readers to start looking for and recognizing shapes in their world with this book filled with colorful images that contextualize and entertain as well as features repeating letter combinations and K-1 level sight words. A great book for read-aloud or paired reading.

My kid read this on her own. It is a cute book with lovely illustrations that introduce first shape and then animals playing the objects with similar shape. Illustrations are bright and colorful and even ebook looked beautiful so I’m sure physical book might be even more beautiful that kids would love to read and flip through again and again.

Fun book to learn shapes

I really enjoyed this fun, quick read. It teaches shapes to young children using interactions with animals and nature. The illustrations are vibrant and cute, the stories are goofy and memorable. Definitely a book I'd recommend.

This series is amazing and I look forward to more! The illustrations are vibrant and definitely eye-catching! I'm hoping there's one in the future that is interactive with textures!

I received this arc through NetGalley. All thoughts are my honest opinion.

This is a fun read for young children so they can learn their shapes. It uses some funny and engaging comparisons to animals using or looking at the shapes in real life. The illustrations are also colourful with simple text to accompany for easy learning. Definitely a book I'll try to get my little sister to read!

Thank you to the author, Quarto Publishing Group - Frances Lincoln Children's Books and NetGalley, for an ARC in exchange for an honest review.

The author does it again with this wonderfully vibrant and fun book for young readers, looking at shapes. Although some of the shapes are a bit of a reach, it's a great springboard to read with young children and introduce the concepts. Highly recommend!

This is different to most shape books I have previously seen
It's a bit more engaging for children and helps to keep their attention.
Nice and colourful illustrations too

Shapes may seem boring to some kids to learn, but this book makes it a fun experience! Along with each shape is an accompanying illustration that is goofy and/or adorable. There is a silly fox eating carrots, a chubby hamster, and hippos eating watermelon, among other things. Kids will really enjoy this board book and learn a lot of shapes, not just circles, squares, and rectangles.

A cute book for young children that teaches them shapes along with animals. It is pretty simple, but would be great as a learn shapes book.

This book teaches common shapes using fun animal scenes. It’s something that small kids will adore. A few of the shapes seemed a little forced but that’s more something that adults would take note of and wouldn’t affect a child’s enjoyment of the images.

A fun and quick read for when kids just want "one more!" My sons loved guessing each shape and finding objects around the room with the same shape. I really liked the art style and vibrancy of each illustration, as well as the variety of animals featured. This makes a great board book for little ones to learn their shapes and animals and one that can be revisited for repetition. The structure of the book allows for guessing and finishing the sentence, which is especially great for teaching kiddos.

I loved the shapes, especially the more complex shapes, but the connection to the animals was a stretch and I didn’t love a few of them. I did think it was cute and I would’ve read and enjoyed it from the library, but I wouldn’t purchase it.

Bright illustrations with humor to them, this book was great to read with my two toddlers. The way the animals interacted with the shapes was fun and we found ourselves trying to predict what they would be!

Thank you Netgalley for an arc copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

This was a cute, simple book talking about different shapes. The shapes were clearly defined and the pictures were funny and bright. The book covered the main shapes you think of along with a few that you don't always find in books (semi-circle, arrow, crescent, ect.)

I would put this in my toddler classroom and my three year old enjoyed reading it with me.

I loved the format of the book! Showing the shape right before an example is a great way to remember by association (like the alphabet). I also loved the illustrations accompanying each page. I would've loved learning about shapes as a kid if I read this!
