Gripping, edgy, a brilliant new thriller.
David is in a top security prison, shut off from family and friends, after an horrendous tragedy that he has no memory of but takes the blame for. In some ways he’s given up. When he gets a visitor after being inside for 5 years refusing to see anyone, the surprise of seeing someone from his past and the news they bring changes the way he has been thinking.
With shocking and unexpected twists and turns this book takes you on quite a journey as the real story of what happened that night unfolds.
Uncomfortable, edge of your seat reading where the control keeps switching, where your sympathy keeps changing from character to character. Harsh and brutal in its reality this is a fantastic new thriller.
Thank you to NetGalley for the early read.

Thank you to Netgalley and the publisher/author for this ARC.
This is a typical Harlan Coban read. I groaned at the initial premise but the story is well told and very engaging with a few twists and surprises. Its a very enjoyable read

This was a quick and wacky read!! David Burroughs is currently in his 5th year of his sentence for murdering his 3 year old son and his sister in law Rachel visits him, showing him photo of a young boy around 8 who she believes is his son

So does David but what can he do about it from inside of a prison? How can he prove he's innocent?
What follows is a pretty unbelievable journey to uncover the truth

David Burroughs is serving a prison sentence for murdering his three year old son. He says he didn’t do it but did he? Five years into his sentence he get an expected visitor in the form of his ex-sister-in-law, Rachel, who has some pretty astounding news.

The plot takes so many twists and turns with a lot of tension and some violence thrown in. All typical Harlan Coben writing. I can see this making a good TV drama or movie. I did have to suspend belief at several points. However, as always with this author it is a great page turn and very entertaining.

David and Cheryl Burroughs have everything, including a beautiful three year old son.Matthew.
One night David wakes up to find he has murdered his son and is sent to prison. He doesn't remember doing it and doesn't believe he did. No-one believes him though.
One day Cheryl's sister arrives at the prison with a photo. Its a picture of Matthew at a theme park.
David knows he needs to escape from prison and find his son.
Canhe manage to do both and stay one step ahead of the police?

I raced through this book in about 3 days, reading the first 40% in the first day, which is pretty impressive for me. I'm a fan of Harlan Coben anyway, and I enjoy the Netflix specials as well as the books, and 'I Will Find You' did not disappoint.

David Burroughs is in prison for killing his three year old son. He has no recollection of commiting the murder but the evidence was irrefutable. Having spent 5 years in prison David has given up on caring about anything, life isn't worth living without Matthew in the world. But one day he has an unexpected visit from his ex-sister-in-law, Rachel, who shows him a photo which changes everything.

I was rooting for David, and I wanted to hear more about Rachel and her history - beyond the story that ruined her carreer. At first I found the FBI Agents, Max and Sarah, irritating but their back and forth grew on me and made me smile.

It should probably come with a warning for violence - as you can expect from a book about the murder of a three year old - for those who might find it upsetting. I have been pleased to see these content warnings on some of the NetGalley emails recently.

With thanks to NetGalley and Grand Central Publishing for the ARC in exchange for an honest review.

I Will Find You is a classic Harlan Coben - compelling, twisty and fast-paced story, told well. If you are prepared to suspend disbelief and don’t take it too seriously, you are bound to enjoy this engaging and entertaining read.

David is serving life for murder. The murder of his son. Of course, he didn’t do it, but the evidence and witness statements say otherwise. With his son gone he refuses to see his family and in time his wife, Cheryl, divorces him.

Five years of giving up, five years of beatings, five years missing his son, David gets a visitor. It’s his sister in law, ex now, and she brings with her something that will change everything. All the lost hope, renewed with one accidental photo. But is it real?

As a fan of Harlan Coben’s books, I immediately requested this.

From chapter one I was fully invested in the story. It was fast paced with some great characters, even the odd recognisable character making a return from other books. The whole way through I was on the edge of my seat waiting for the next big thing to happen. It was full of twists and excitement and I loved every minute of it. I’ve already told my mum how good it is and she’s preordered it so I highly recommend it!

David and Cheryl Burroughs have been living the dream life until tragedy struck. Now, five years later, David is locked away in a maximum-security prison after being convicted of the murder of their son. But, when David’s sister-in-law drops by with an unexpected bombshell that could prove his son is alive and well, he has to break out of prison in order to uncover the truth. This is the premise of Harlan Coben’s latest novel, I Will Find You.

The story follows David as he goes on a race against time to crack the mystery behind his son’s disappearance and prove his innocence. Along the way, he encounters some unexpected surprises and finds himself embroiled in a much larger conspiracy than he could ever imagine. With twists and turns at every corner, readers will be left guessing what will happen next as they turn each page!

I Will Find You explores themes such as family loyalty and justice. In a world where even innocent people can be wrongly convicted of crimes they didn’t commit, this book provides an important reminder that everyone deserves second chances and sometimes it takes extraordinary measures to get them. It also touches on how far someone might go for their family members, even if it means breaking out of prison to do so.

One thing that stands out about this novel is Harlan Coben’s ability to bring characters to life with genuine emotion and humour. He skillfully weaves together suspenseful scenes with moments of lightheartedness which makes for an enjoyable read that keeps readers engaged until the very end!

I particularly liked the way David manages to break out of prison and the others involved. The developing story shows his journey all over the country to find his son if he’s even really still alive. It sounds most unlikely, to begin with, and Rachel seems to be a bit of a dreamer, especially not wanting to involve her pregnant sister Cheryl, how much did she really believe in herself and how much did she just want to see David again?

This was a fascinating story that I just couldn’t put down. The characters we outstanding as always and the red herrings, plot twists and turns, ensured that you didn’t quite know what was going to happen until the very end.

If you are looking for an exciting read that will keep you on your toes while exploring important themes such as justice and family loyalty, then look no further than Harlan Coben's latest thriller. With its fast-paced action sequences, interesting characters, and unexpected twists, this novel will have you hooked from start to finish! So grab your copy now and join David on his journey to uncover the truth behind his son’s disappearance! You won't be disappointed!

Another great thriller from Harlan Coben.
David is incarcerated for murdering his three year old son, but what if he was innocent all along? I absolutely raced through this and loved every moment of the story unfolding.

Thanks to Netgalley and the publishers for an advanced digital copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

Far-fetched, improbable but a nonetheless highly entertaining story. I felt I was taken on a fast paced roller coaster ride that kept me breathless and intrigued throughout. Fans of Harlan Coben will, like me, enjoy every minute.

The perfect crime, so perfect that no-one has any doubt that it happened. So perfect that even David, convicted of brutally murdering his own son, has doubts himself of his own role in the terrible incident. The perfect crime, that is, until a David is given a lifeline, his son may still be alive.

David, incarcerated for the past five years, going through his daily motions without any will whatsoever (what’s the point if your son is dead, even if you may be innocent) is all of a sudden shown a picture by his sister in law, of an 8 year old boy in the background that could be mistaken for the 3 year old boy he supposedly murdered. It surely can’t be true, but at the same time, both David and Rachel (sister to his now remarried ex-wife) are holding on to the revelation as if there is no doubt of its authenticity whatsoever.

What follows is a journey of utter conviction. David will go to the ends of the earth to find his son. There is absolutely no stopping him. He has help of course, by a range of great allies (and even some foes), that help him navigate his way through harrowing revelations, thrilling encounters, and non-stop action.

Harlan Coben does it again! Absolutely brilliant entertainment. A great plot, an exceptionally well written protagonist, some really great supporting characters and some thrilling action.

Imagine if you are in prison accused of killing you son. Knowing that you are innocent but powerless to do anything. Imagine also that, one day, your sister turns up to visit you and drops a bombshell. It appears that, in the background of a family photo, taken at a theme park, there's a boy. With an identical birthmark to Matthew, the son you are serving a life sentence for brutally murdering.
Well... this is David's reality... Now he just has to do something about it, to clear his name and, more importantly, get his son back... All from prison? Well, obviously not...
And so begins an absolutely brilliantly plotted and executed twisty turny tale which hit the ground running for me right from the off, building the tension to fever pitch and pretty much holding it there all the way through.
I connected with David right from the start and rooted for him all the way through. Shouting at him and egging him on. Supporting him from beyond the page! At the same time though, wondering what in the heck did happen that fateful night and, if his son really is alive, who died?
Now... all that had to be so good, and it was, to offset the blooming annoying FBI duo who nearly ruined it all for me with their incessant jabbering. Amusing at first but the joke soon got tired and irritating...
But the rest was so good that I only took a smidgen of a star off which still made it round up to five. But, that said, I hope we never see them again in any future books!
All in all, another winner from one of my favourite authors who has never let me down. My thanks go to the Publisher and Netgalley for the chance to read this book.

This was an incredibly fast paced thriller which was easy to read and very difficult to put down!

There were so many reasons why David was probably the one who killed his son that now, five years later, when he sees a photo that could be of him, it does make you wonder. If Matthew is still alive, who isn't and who has had him, how did they manufacture everything and why?

There are a lot of interesting characters in this book including a couple of FBI agents that I really took against, I hope there are none like them in real life!

This is the first book by this author I have read although I do have a couple by him waiting to be read and 10 more arriving soon. That's how much I enjoyed the writing and storytelling in this book!

A binge read, fast paced and enjoyable but I now wonder is Harlan writing with one eye firmly on the TV production. I have loved Harlan Cobens work and read all of his novels but the character development lately has been lacking and the end falls a bit flat if even predictable. In saying that, this is a great read if you suspend all belief.
Thank you to Netgalley for the chance to read this ARC.

It is many years since I have read any books by this author who is now a titan of book writing with a massive number of awards, and books that have been made into TV series. Therefore, I was quite excited to be given the opportunity to read this new book.
The presentation of the book and the writing cannot be disputed, it is easy to understand and the descriptions of characters and places transport you to the scene. I appreciate this is fiction, but I did find the story a bit far-fetched and sometimes felt that if a character got into a difficult situation anything was possible and this made it very difficult to try and work out how the story was going to end. There are also two agents working together that came across as more of a slapstick comedy duo, they were both quite annoying at times but did bring something a little different to the story.
I guess what I am saying is enjoy the story as a piece of fiction and let it take you on a journey of exploration. Don't think too deep about things and you will really enjoy it.
Many thanks to Random House UK, NetGalley and Harlan Coben for providing me with an electronic advanced copy of the book in return for a honest and unbiased review
The book is to be published on the 16th March and will be available in e-book, hardback and audiobook formats

As always with Harlan Coben, the plot is very convoluted, and in places implausible- but he’s not unique in that respect. And he is just so readable, I don’t really mind. A bit contrived at times, maybe, but It’s a fast paced page turner with good guys and bad guys; what more do you need?

I have read all of Harlem Coben’s books and am going to say this is just brilliant. A standalone novel about a dad who is serving time for murdering his young son- 2 facts you find out pretty much straight away- he didn’t do it and did his son die?
Brilliant character, gripping storyline, fast paced and just so well written.

Harlan Coben writes Motor-books. They move at great speed, take curves and bends along with the occasional handbrake turn. The power never lets up and the ride is memorable. I will find you is typical of his style - a seemingly impossible situation arises when a picture suggests that a boy murdered five years ago may still be alive. That is of particular interest to the boys father currently in prison for the murder. That situation gradually unravels with twists, turns and his usual super cast of supporting characters. Wise cracks a plenty, the FBI agents are a great double-act. Top quality thriller writing and highly recommended.
