I received this book as an ARC from NetGalley.

Sandy Wishes is book #2 in The Sanderling Cove Inn series. This book continues the tale of the Sanderling Inn Cove when grandma Ellie gets her granddaughters together to run the inn while she and her husband John take a much needed vacation.

Book #2 is centered on Brooke's storyline. While Brooke is happy to date two friends, she starts to want what Charlie has, a committed relationship. Brooke feels she is ready for that. As Brooke spends time with one of the neighbors grandsons, Dylan, she realizes there is a hidden talent locked away inside her. Dylan helps her to express herself and as she spends more time with him, she falls more in love with him. Does he feel the same?

This series paints such a picture of the places listed. I want to be there!

This is the first book I have read in the Sanderling Cove Inn series. And, after having read the third book in the series, they will probably be the last ones. A lot of characters to keep up with and there is romance ... which is a genre I don’t particularly care for. The positive is that it is a clean romance so no raunchy behavior or foul language. As with the third book in the series, the positive is that they include mostly strong women and men who are supportive of them. I didn’t feel like there was much depth to the characters or the storyline. I know there are a lot of positive reviews for this book and if clean romance is more your cup of tea, then I suggest you give this one a try.

A charming romance story of three young cousins together for the summer. Brooke finds love with a local artist and discovers more about herself. It was a great escape read.
Many thanks to Wild Quail Press and to Netgalley for providing me with a galley in exchange for my honest opinion.

Brooke and her two cousins is back in Sanderling Cove to run her grandmother ’s inn while she and her new husband went for their honeymoon. They were tasked to improve the inn while at the same time, taking some time off their normal schedule to figure out their life direction. They have no idea five grandmothers are plotting to bring their grandchildren back to Sanderling Cove in the hope to get them settle down in the town. It is a great change for Brooke given that she have been taking care of her mother and it is taken toll on her. Brooke rediscover her passion for art and it was art that she found herself attracted to Dylan.

This book focus on friendship, self discovery and family relationship and focus on Brooke. Love how Dylan added some stability in Brooke life and the way she find contentment in her life at the end of the story. Overall it is a good read to me.

I was in the mood for something fun and lighthearted and this book seemed perfect. That’s not to imply that there wasn’t a fair amount of family drama because certainly is, as Brooke deals with the health crisis of her mother. I liked watching Brooke come into her own, while still trying to be help her mother while running the Inn with her cousins and enjoying her independence. I genuinely liked the storyline, characters, and setting.

I hadn’t read the first book in the series but I easily caught up with what had been happening in the lives of this family and that the end goal for the grandparents is to see their grandchildren happily married. As I stated earlier, this was the perfect book for a fun and lighthearted book, with just a touch of drama.
I received a copy of this book from the publisher through Netgalley. Opinions are my own.

Great book! I enjoy how Ms Keim weaves the previous books characters into this book so you can continue to have the characters evolve. It can easily be read as a stand alone but I am truly enjoying this trilogy.

Another fun story in the series based on Grandmas & their grandchildren, cousins working together on the Inn. In this installment, Brooke gets a chance to shine and become her own, making just the kind of changes she needs!
My most grateful thanks to @judithkeim. I was provided an Advance Reader Copy in exchange for my unbiased review.

Thank you Netgalley for the opportunity to read this. It is a story of children and their grandparents trying to give them a wonderful and fulfilling life and helping them find love along the way. I had not realised it was part of a series, but that did not affect my reading of it

Sandy Wishes by Judith Keim such a wonderful family life love story. Grandparents trying to help their children find love.

Sandy Wishes is the second book in Judith Keim’s Sanderling Cove Inn series. Sanderling Cove is a lovely anomaly on the Gulf coast of Florida north of Tampa. The Cove was settled by five families many years ago. With children and grandchildren grown, the grandmothers have put their heads together to revitalize their families with a play to orchestrate the perfect scenario to bring the grown grandchildren back together for a special summer to revisit the many summers the kids spent with their grandmothers as teens and younger. All are aching to hold their great grandbabies and are hoping to nudge fate to allow things to happen. This story focuses on Ellie Weatherby Rizzo’s second granddaughter, Brooke.

Brooke has been a wallflower, following the safest route and seeking security. Her parents had been engaged when her father died suddenly, leaving Jo a single mother with many health issues and Brooke the one trying to make everything better. With her accounting degree, Brooke’s life had consisted of a dead end job and caring for her mother. When Ellie calls for Brooke to come, arrangements are made for her to spend the summer in Sanderling Cove to help her cousins Charlotte Bradford and Olivia Winters run the inn while their grandparents travel.

After her cousin Charlie’s recent engagement to fellow Cove kid Shane Ensley, Brooke decides it’s time to make some changes and begins with streaking her hair purple. Brooke is opening up to life, questioning her future as is, and seeking a better future.

With Adam Atkins and his young daughter Skye and Dylan Hendrix, both grandsons of beloved Mimi Atkins, vying for her attention, Brooke is torn. She is enamored of young motherless Skye, but has spent her life as a caregiver. While she likes Adam and always has a good time in his company, there just isn’t any chemistry. However, Dylan, a renowned artist, opens a new world for Brooke and unleashes a creative bent she didn’t know had existed. However, nothing in life runs smoothly, even in a sultry cove summer.

This is another interesting segment in a summer saga with endearing characters set in a coastal oasis. I very much enjoyed this book, and series, and do recommend it!

Another great book by Judith Keim and a lovely beach read. Sanderling Cove, where five meddling grandmothers are trying to help their grandchildren find love. Brooke has been taking care of her mother and needs to get away. Summer is the perfect time so she can help with The Sanderling Cove Inn. Dylan is a well-known painter who wants to change his painting style. He is hoping that a break to Florida will help with his creativity. When Brooke makes a suggestion on one of his painting that takes it to the next level, Dylan believes that Brooke has a hidden talent waiting to come out. As they get to know each other, Brooke's, and Dylan's worlds begin to change. Cannot wait to read the next in the series. Thank you to Ms. Keim, NetGalley, and Wild Quail Publishing for the opportunity to read and review this book.

three cousins work together to run an inn. very enjoyable read, loved the interaction with the cousins, a quick read

While I liked the concept of the plot, there was no depth to it. A problem was solved (or overlooked) quickly. There wasn’t a lot of character development and the dialogue was very elementary. I was hoping for more because I think I could’ve truly loved Sandy Wishes.

Not a book for me. Too light and no depth to the characters and felt forced. No major plot. Dialogue was limited. While there were a few characters, none added much to the plot apart from the main character. I recognise it is is one of a series of books however I wouldn't go on to read more based on this book.

Thank you NetGalley and Judith Keim for the ARC Sandy Wishes. This is my personal review.
I was thrilled to be back with Brooke, Charlie and Livy back in Sanderling Cove. I was drawn back into their lives after reading just one page.
I had every emotion possible go through me as I read this book. The family dynamics pulled the story together so perfectly.
This is book two in the series, and it is focused on Brooke.

This is a sweet romance story that’s quick to read. When cousins arrive to help run an inn, they find out that working together is very rewarding, and if there’s some romance along the way, who’s to argue?!? This was a fun read.

Gran and John are traveling for the summer, leaving granddaughters of Gran and her friends to run the Sanderling Cove Inn. Brooke is the account for the inn, Livy is the baker, and Charlotte promotes it. All three are trying to find themselves. Brooke needs to do for herself instead of always taking care of her sickly mother. Livy would like to have her own bakery at some time in the future. Charlotte is engaged to be married and working with her husband -to -be to clean out the house of his deceased mother. All the grandchildren of the grandmothers are there to hopefully find true love. I enjoyed Dylan, an artist, who encourages the creativity of Brooke as she dabbles in painting. The explanation of color was inspiring. Their trips to see Dylan’s galleries were informative as we experience the culture of Santa Fe as well as Naples, Florida. All the characters have special qualities. I loved the support the cousins gave each other. Great book.

I am enjoying this series of the three cousins Brooke, Charlie, Livy. This is book two and it’s Brooke’s story. The cousins are running the Sanderling Cove Inn while their grandmother is in Europe. The author does keep in the story also what is going on in Charlie and Livy’s lives even though this is Brooke’s story. I enjoyed the slow burn romance. Thank you to NetGalley and Wild Quail Publishing for the E-ARC. This is my own opinion

Sandy Wishes is the 2nd book in the Sanderling Cove series. I was able to read the first one last year and so glad I was able to get a hold of this one before its release date.

Charlotte, Brooke and Olivia are cousins who have taken over their grandmother’s Inn on Sanderling Cove Florida. Their grandmother and her close friends who also have properties on the Cove, have been conspiring to get their grandchildren back to the cove and hopefully fall in love in love.

Each book has several chapters told from each of the cousins pov but there is typically one cousin that is the main focus. In Sandy Wishes, Brooke is the cousin we learn more about and follow along her building relationships with the other “Cove Kids”.

Brooke is looking for independence this summer. Brooke has spent the last several years taking care of her mother whom she loves dearly but takes advantage of her. While her mom struggles with illness and poor health, she guilts Brooke into taking care of her.

Spending the summer in Sanderling Cove is really allowing Brooke to explore that independence and determine where she wants to be in the future and who she wants to spend it with.

This is a really cute, clean romance series with great characters and a beautiful setting. This one is a 4 star for me! A quick and easy read, perfect for taking in a spring trip or adding to your summer tbr.
