Whimsical art and a deep message bring this fun book to you. I liked reading it but due to the formatting on my device the pictures and words were choppy. But overall a pretty good book

This is a fantastic book. I can see myself purchasing this book for friends and families with littles of their own, perfect for newborns through preschool. The colors and illustrations are soft, and the story is enjoyable for both children and parents.

A kind of prayer to a very young child, wishing it hopeful things to see, a charitable mind and an ability to cover the ups and downs of life equally successfully. Oh and then you'll be dead, for we are all but leaves. The artwork is rich and delights in nature, and while I suppose the message was fine I don't think it and the delivery were for me.

What a delightful book for young children. From the gorgeous, muted illustrations to the clear, simple and engaging text, this is sure to be a hit as a read out loud book.

I absolutely adored this book, as did my children. The parallels between life and death and the cycle of a leaf were subtle but there. It’s a beautiful picture book to add to your collection.

A cute, well written children's book that reminds kids how much they are loved.

Each page is filled with bright, colorful illustrations of nature & adorable animals and is engaging to kids.

I like the way the author reminds kids that matter the ups & downs we'll inevitably have in life, your parents will always be there & will always love you.

Like the Leaves is an absolutely beautiful book for children with such a beautiful story and even more beautiful illustrations. This book encourages children to be who they want to be, embrace their uniqueness and reminds them they are special, beautiful, worthy and that we all have a purpose in this world. This is truly a book to treasure and would make a great gift for any child.

This beautifully illustrated book reads like a song. It compares being a leaf to life, full of figurative language. This would be a good book to use in a writing lesson.

Sweet children's book with a positive message that will be enjoyed by both children and parents alike. This book would be a great addition to any home library and is a great book to be read to young children during story time at school.

What a lovely book! A perfect gift for newborns through preschool. The soft, beautiful illustrations capture a child's attention and the soothing rhythm of the story is lovely. As a children's librarian I will recommend this to patrons, and I read this aloud to my five year old and she loved it!
