I received an arc of this title from NetGalley for an honest review. A great book about friendship, though it is better for older kids as there is a lot of text.

Raymond and Bonnie are best friends, and they are also birds. Living in the rural countryside they have a simplistic and routine life.
It is wintertime and food, and water are not easily accessible to them as it may be covered in snow and the running streams frozen over. They have no worries about this because all the birds around know about kindly old Mr. Digweed. He always provides for all the birds needs. When several days have passed and he has not been home or provided food and water the birds start to worry. When they see a break in at the old Mans' house they aren't sure how to help. They do though by banning together with all the other birds and solve the problem. They are so happy to see their friend return home.
Delightfully illustrated. This is a lovely book to read to your children teaching them that it's okay to try to solve things on your own but it's also alright to ask for help to solve a problem.
Highly recommended for children.
