Having read Carol’s previous books, in my opinion this is the best yet.
Set on the Amalfi Coast the reader felt they were there as descriptions of locations were magical . A strong family saga with a throwback to a past time. .
A great holiday or me time read full of secrets, mysteries, and twists and turns
A beautifully written book which I highly recommend
Thank you to Netgalley, Harper Collins and Carol Kirkwood for letting me read this book in exchange for an honest review

A nice and easy summer read, no big suprises within the story but it does keep you guessing along the way as ntohign is fully predictable.

Carol Kirkwood's latest novel takes us to Italy. There is summer sun, romance and family tensions. It's a delightful and easy read, with some added peril. An enjoyable summer read.

Absolutely loved this book!
I now can't wait for book 4! Carol knows how to write to get your attention.
Her use of words shows it's not just another RomCom but a really good novel!

Perfect novel for a beach holiday. It is a highly readable and entertaining story set in and around Amalfi, leading to 'the wedding of the year', but there are a few 'events' on the way. Lots of lovely descriptions about 'la dolce vita', good characterisation. Carol Kirkwood definitely has a second career as an author.
With thanks to NetGalley and HarperCollins for an ARC.

I have read all Carol's books and she doesn't disappoint again this time!
The setting is fabulous for this story of greed, love old secrets and much more.
It is the wedding of the year in Amalfi where Salvatore and Phillipa's daughter Carina is marrying Georgio, the boy from the vineyard next door. Are things as they seem? Of course not lots of old secrets are revealed, old romances are unearthed and all under the beautiful Italian sky of the Amalfi coast where the wedding is due to take place.
Where will Carol's next book be located, I can't wait to find out.
These are lovely summer reads.
Thank you netgalley.co.uk for my copy.

This is the second book I've read by Carol Kirkwood, and it was just as enjoyable as the first. This book is set on the luxuriant Amalfi coast, and is filled with glorious descriptions of the location.
Carina is the daughter of a successful vineyard owner, and she is marrying Georgio, the son of the neighbouring vineyard owners. Will their marriage unite the tow families and businesses, or will their secrets be revealed?
It definitely feels like every character in the book has plenty of secrets, but the story flows well, and is a great summer read.

I had really enjoyed the two previous book by Carol Kirkwood and I was pleased and grateful to be offered an advance reader copy of this third one. This was the perfect book for a rainy summer week as it took me on a lovely trip to the Amalfi coast in Italy.
The story mixes to perfection elements of a family saga between two winemaking families, dark family memories with long lasting consequences, revenge, relationships going sour and others blooming, business deals and criminal activities with involvement of the Camorra, lots of nice foods and wines, and everywhere sun, sea, the scent of pine trees and of the Italian nature.
Carol Kirkwood has this very positive style which makes her books so full of good vibes, even when she sprinkles them with some dark undertones like this one. Her style is very pleasant to read and her characters colourful and attractive.
I really enjoyed this third book. Let's hope we don't have to wait too long for the next one.

What a fabulous new book from Carol Kirkwood!! Another total classic!! Absolutely loved this story, the writing, the characters and the scenery from Los Angeles to the Italian Amalfi coast, brilliant!!
Carina beloved daughter of Salvatore and Philippa is set to marry her childhood friend and neighbour she has known all her life Giorgio, but all is not roses on the days leading up to their beautifully planned wedding day.
Gripping from the first page and full of surprises!!
Loved this one as much as Carol’s previous books!! No disappointment here!! Great holiday reading, gorgeous comfort reading through English rainy days!
Thank you NetGalley and Harper Collins for the early read!!

Really great modern day romance and plenty of action and suspense woven into this beautifully written book, set over dual timelines and narrated by women from two generations of Italian winemakers.
The story starts with the lead up to a wedding between the son and the daughter of neighbouring winemakers, destined to be together since childhood. We see the main players interact and also see the people they spend time with and a different story emerges.
The scenery and beauty of the Italian Amalfi coast is so well described that the reader could be there with the characters. It has made me more determined to visit this gorgeous place.
Great writing and a suspenseful time for the happy couple during the lavish celebrations. Hoping that there will be a sequel.
Thanks to Netgalley, the publisher and the author for the opportunity to read this book in exchange for an honest review.

After reading Carol's first two books I was really looking forward to this and it didn't disappoint I really enjoyed everything about it. It was a fabulous setting which was perfect and just the right amount of description by the author and the story was fantastic, the backstory gelled perfectly with the present day and their were some interesting characters that make you want to keep reading. A really great page Turner

A beautifully written romance novel set in Italy. Full of twists and turns and descriptions of the countryside. You can visualise yourself included in the book

Thank you once again to the publishers and to #netgalley for this delightful holiday read. This is the third one of Carole’s books for me and they have that great quality of being easy to rad but still providing interesting characters, a well structured plot and descriptions with sensory imagery making you feel the heat. I’m actually reading this whilst on holiday in Italy - definitely helps with imagining the setting! Thoroughly recommended read and I hope Carole keeps them coming.

One of those books that you thoroughly enjoy even if i requires suspension of belief.
A page turner full of secrets, twists, romance told by an excellent storyteller.
I loved the descriptions of Amalfi and liked the story
Recommended.
Many thanks to the publisher for this ARC, all opinions are mine

Ahhh, a lovey summer read, set in beautiful Italy, you can almost taste the gelato and hear the cicadas. Thanks for the advance copy NetGalley

As usual in my reviews I will not rehash the plot.
This is the first novel I've read by Carol Kirkwood - I hadn't realised she was an author as well as her more well-known role!
This was an enjoyable light read - it would be the perfect novel to take on holiday! The novel is largely set in sunny Amalfi (Italy) and the surroundings are beautifully described - it was the perfect antidote to the torrential rain outside whilst I was reading it!
The plot was well thought out, with various sections told from the viewpoint of different characters, and a couple of flashback chapters which rounded some of the backstories. There's a good range of characters - some nice, some not so much...
I kindof guessed how some of the strands would turn out, and was pleased with the eventual outcome!
My thanks to NetGalley and the publishers for an ARC. All opinions my own.

From reading the first page, I knew that this was going to be a great story, and wasn’t disappointed. Carena is getting ready for her marriage to Georgio, but all is not as it seems. Leading up to the wedding, Georgio has gone to LA on a business trip which has become extended. The story becomes filled with mystery and intrigue as secrets from the past are explored.
Set in sun drenched, spectacular Italian surroundings, the scenery is beautifully described, making you wish you were there. Characters are well drawn, developing as the story unfolds, and you can empathise with Carena who is beginning to have doubts about marrying her fiancé. The book is filled with secrets, from Edie, her best friend who is to become her bridesmaid, her mother Phillipa, and especially Georgio.
This is a skilfully written, absorbing read which describes how the super rich live, their beautiful homes and lifestyle, exploring relationships, betrayal, family feuds and danger. A real page turner.
Having read Carol Kirkwood’s previous books, she is becoming one of my favourite authors, and I can’t wait for her next book.

Thank you for allowing me to review this book. A love story set on the Almafi coast, Italy. It has it all; romance, secrets, mafia, beautiful setting. Carina are childhood friends who grew up on a joining vineyards. Their wedding is just days away, but gradually secrets are revealed. This is an easy read that had me hooked from the beginning. Carol Kirkwood is a good author who researchs the setting well and uses it to good affect.
I highly recommend this book, particularly if you know or plan to visit the Almafi coast. I look forward to her next book.

Thank you for the opportunity to read Carol Kirkwood's third book. I have enjoyed reading all three of Carol's books and have posted them all on my Facebook page to highlight them to my friends and followers.
Secrets of the Villa Amore is a nice gentle holiday read set in Amalfi, where I have previously been on holiday, so I found it easy to relate to all the narrow streets and lots of steps from the hotels high up on the cliffs, down to the town below, it is always good to have a nice sunny setting for a book and Carol has done this very well again in her third book, drawing the reader into the town, spectacular coastline, lovely beaches and caves wanting to to just go and explore these settings.
I obviously don't want to give any spoilers, but I thoroughly enjoyed the book and can't wait to read Carol's next book.

Family Secrets, Mafia, Feuds, Stories not told & a huge Society Wedding all amid the stunning scenery of the Italian Amalfi Coast , which Carol Kirkwood brought right into the heart of my living room
enabling me to visit somewhere I know it's not physically possible for me to do . So a very enjoyable Book from start to finish & one I will recommend to friends #NetGalley,# GoodReads, #Amazon.co.uk, #FB, #Instaram, #<img src="https://www.netgalley.com/badge/8a5b541512e66ae64954bdaab137035a5b2a89d2" width="80" height="80" alt="200 Book Reviews" title="200 Book Reviews"/>, #<img src="https://www.netgalley.com/badge/ef856e6ce35e6d2d729539aa1808a5fb4326a415" width="80" height="80" alt="Reviews Published" title="Reviews Published"/>, #<img src="https://www.netgalley.com/badge/aa60c7e77cc330186f26ea1f647542df8af8326a" width="80" height="80" alt="Professional Reader" title="Professional Reader"/>.
