Forget Me Not is a really enjoyable romantic story full of lust, missed chances set amongst the high pressure of delivering a mega budget wedding, Ama, a wedding planner, and Elliot, a florist both work in the intense wedding industry. The story weaves between the past and the present, in clearly titled chapters, where their creative paths tangle creating many tension charged moments full of lust. Elliot is a strong male character, who remains very hard to reach and unfriendly in the present due to a dramatic misunderstanding with Ama in the past. I like how during the story it is clear that Ama doesn’t value her worth but Elliot helps her to realise it. There are a good amount of steamy, passionate scenes.

I really enjoyed this book. Loved the Wedding planner/florist romance and I really appreciated the female mc stance on marriage its not something that comes up alot in romance so i found this story very refreshing even with how it all panned out. Great characters and a great storyline. Will definitely pick up Julie's next book.

OMG, this book is like totally amazing, you guys! Forget me not! it's about this wedding planner named Ama and a super hot florist named Elliot. They have to work together on this mega-fancy celebrity wedding, but get this, they have a crazy past and loads of hurt feelings. Elliot is all brooding and mysterious, and you can just feel the intense chemistry between them in every little interaction and smoldering glance. 😍 Ama is like this feisty little firecracker with commitment issues because her mom has been married, like, a gazillion times.

The best part is that the author, Julie, totally nailed it with her writing style. It's sweet, spicy, and angsty AF! The way she uses Elliot's point of view to give us all this juicy backstory is soooo good. You get to really understand their complicated history and feel all the emotions. I couldn't put the book down, seriously. It had me hooked from the first page.

I'm, like, totally obsessed with "A Love Blooming" and I would, like, totally recommend it to anyone who loves romance with a side of drama. Julie is, like, my new favorite author. You have to read it, like, ASAP! 💖

** Thank you Harper Collins for the eARC via NetGalley **

Since I found that LovesBitca8 was Julie and she was publishing her first book “Forget me Not” that I wanted to get my hands on it!

Incredible how different it is from the Rights and Wrongs, but still so engaging! We go through all emotions: the rush of wedding planning, the anxiety and self-doubt of leaving your comfort zone & all the heartache of lost love.

Perfect for anyone into contemporary romance with spice, grumpy sunshine & second chance.

I do warn everyone from the FF community that it’s completely different from previous work but the quality of the writing is the same!

I really enjoyed this . I loved the dual timeline allowing us to experience Ama and Elliot, how they became closer and what happened for them to no longer be speaking. Elliot is enamoured with Ama and it’s a joy to see that grumpy personality juxtaposed with his obvious care and support for her. I liked Ama’s ambition and growth as her opinion on love and relationships change as she starts to separate how she thinks she should live her life after her mother’s numerous marriages, and how she wants her life to go. They had excellent chemistry and their connection was wonderful to read.

"Forget Me Not" is a delightful and heartwarming novel that combines the magic of weddings, the complexities of relationships, and the resilience of following one's passion. With its engaging characters and a touch of humor, this book takes readers on a journey filled with romance, personal growth, and the power of second chances.

The story revolves around Ama Torres, a wedding planner who is determined to create the perfect weddings for her clients while avoiding marriage herself due to her mother's tumultuous marital history. Elliot, on the other hand, is a reluctant florist who inherited his father's flower shop and is burdened by its responsibilities. Their lives intertwine when Ama is hired to plan a celebrity wedding, and Elliot is contracted to design the flowers, despite their complicated history and unresolved feelings.

One of the most enjoyable aspects of this novel is the dynamic between Ama and Elliot. The author skillfully captures their chemistry and the layers of emotions that arise from their shared past. Their journey of rediscovering their connection while navigating the challenges of their respective careers creates a compelling and engaging narrative. The obstacles they face, including meddling brides and a reality TV crew, add depth and excitement to the story.

The supporting characters in "Forget Me Not" are equally well-developed, each bringing their own unique perspectives and complications to the plot. The meddling brides, in particular, inject humor and play matchmakers, unaware of the complex history between Ama and Elliot. The author portrays these characters with depth, allowing readers to become fully invested in their stories and rooting for their personal growth and happiness.

The wedding setting adds a touch of romance and enchantment to the story, creating a backdrop that amplifies the emotions and desires of the characters. The author's attention to detail and vivid descriptions bring the wedding preparations to life, allowing readers to immerse themselves in the beauty and magic of the ceremonies.

Additionally, "Forget Me Not" explores themes of personal growth, forgiveness, and the pursuit of one's true passion. Both Ama and Elliot undergo transformations throughout the story as they confront their past, face their fears, and find the courage to follow their hearts. The author's portrayal of their emotional journeys is heartfelt and relatable, reminding readers of the importance of self-discovery and embracing second chances.

Overall, "Forget Me Not' is a delightful and heartwarming novel that will appeal to fans of contemporary romance and stories centered around the world of weddings. With its engaging characters, witty dialogue, and a captivating storyline, this book offers an enchanting escape into the complexities of love, forgiveness, and the pursuit of personal happiness. It is a testament to the power of following one's passion, even in the face of past heartbreaks, and the resilience of the human spirit when it comes to matters of the heart.

This follows Ama, a wedding planner and her previous romantic interest. I enjoyed all the wedding details and imagining what the final outcome was! It's a dual timeline between Ama and Eliot and was a good story.

I don't read a lot of romance, but I was invited to read an arc, and thought it sounded cute. The book was cute enough to get through, and I actually quite enjoyed it. There were a few things I didn't love, mostly the male main character only having a default "mean to everyone" personality, and I thought the story was a little short which made everything feel rushed, but the wedding planning and the story set up was well written and really enjoyable to read.

Ama, the wedding planner that doesn’t believe in marriage or long term commitment. It’s ironic but she’s damn good at her job. And now she’s presented with the opportunity of a life time, planning a big wedding for a famous influencer and business owner. There’s one problem, she’ll have to work with Elliot again, they haven’t spoken since she broke his heart. Things are complicated to say the least but just maybe some things can survive even the worst of catastrophes.

This book has it all, it’s sooo good!! The way it’s structured is so impactful, the characters are amazing and who doesn’t love a wedding? Safe to say I was hooked from the first chapter all the way throughout.

It’s written in a dual pov with a dual timeline, Ama’s pov is told from the present time and Elliots pov starts from the point the mcs first met 5 years ago. Kind of like Love and other words by C&L but with two POV’s. It’s amazing storytelling, seriously why doesn’t more authors structure books like this?! You get new details all through and their history is an important part of understanding their current relationships.

Don’t even get me started on the spice, this one’s the opposite pf slow burn and I’m here for it. The US cover is absolutely gorgeous, love the color scheme and that you can see Eliot’s tattoos. On the other hand the UK edition is just not it, but it’s just a cover so it’s not that important.

This novel made such a good impression, that’s so impressive especially with it being Soto’s debut novel. I’ll definitely keep an eye out for her books in the future. Do yourself a favor and read this one!!

Julie Soto’s novel Forget Me Not is a perfect blend of spice and romance about a second chance romance set in Sacramento, California. It follows Ama Torres, a wedding planner, as she lands the biggest wedding of her career - that of social media influencer, Hazel, and her fiancee, Jackie. The only problem is that to succeed at planning the wedding, she’s going to have to work with florist Elliot Bloom for the first time in three years, ever since Ama ended their relationship. Ama and Elliot created exquisite wedding designs when they used to work together. But as they start spending more time together again, will they realise that they still love each other and give in to those old feelings once more?

The novel is written from both Ama and Elliot’s point of view, which I always love. It also goes back in time to when Ama and Elliot first met and how their relationship originally started. These little snippets of their history had me hooked on their relationship in the present day. Also, I fell hard for Elliot. He was such a sweet book boyfriend and love interest despite how others view him.

The drama surrounding the high-profile wedding added to how interesting and intriguing this novel was. I really enjoyed it. In a year when wedding planning novels seem to be the latest trend (and I should know, I have read a few recently) this tops all of the others and definitely one you should read. I will also check out Soto’s other novels in the future as this was a sexy and romantic novel that I couldn’t put down.

Thoroughly enjoyable read!
I love a wedding and the details that Ama puts into her wedding designs spring right off the page and make you wish that you were a guest at one.
Ama and Elliot are both very likeable characters and their voices are distinct as they tell the story from before and now. There is also a great supporting cast of personalities from the two faced wedding planner to the multitudinous and variously skilled or stumbling step-siblings.
The relationship of then and now is full of pent up desire, regret and misunderstanding and is difficult to put down as a result!

Forget me Not follows Ama, a wedding planner who has created her own business after working for one of the biggest wedding planners in the city. She lands a huge client who have already picked who they want to do the flowers and it just happens to be Ama’s ex Elliott. Will they survive working this wedding together?!
The book is split between the two different points of view, Elliott’s in the past and Ama in present day which can be a bit confusing to start off with. I thought it was a bit slow to get going but I really enjoyed the writing style and all the characters involved.. if rom-coms are your thing then this is for you!

Four and a half stars.

Ama is a wedding planner .Having served her apprenticeship with the city's premier wedding planner Whitney she has struck out on her own, mainly catering to those with smaller budgets. But Ama has a secret, she's a wedding planner who doesn't believe in marriage, but then having a mother who's been married sixteen times might do that to you. Heck that's how Ama started in the wedding planning business, planning her mother's weddings.

Then she is approached by Hazel Renee, a famous Instagram make-up star, and her fiancée Jackie. Their budget is way beyond Ama's normal clientele and she's half ecstatic and half overwhelmed by the prospect. She tries to suggest Whitney would be a better fit but it seems they only want Ama. The only fly in the ointment is that they want Elliot Bloom to do the flowers, not just because he is one of the most talented florists around, but also because he happens to be the son of Jackie's boss, Senator Laura Gilbert. Ama has been avoiding Elliot Bloom ever since she planned Senator Gilbert's second wedding, doing everything within her power to not see or speak to him, using other florists and declining to take weddings where he is the florist. While she's thinking of a polite way of declining Hazel and Jackie's wedding Hazel announces it as a done deal on Instagram and now she has no choice.

This is a slow reveal, present day narrative by Ama, historical narrative by Elliot all amongst the over-the-top extravaganza of a wedding with such a huge budget. All among the most gorgeous descriptions of flowers and flower arrangements, if what Elliot designs can be called anything so mundane.

I'm not going to deny I sobbed great big tears twice reading this book, it was beautiful and heart-rending and I loved it. I definitely think this is one I will read more than once.

I received a copy of this book from the publisher via NetGalley in return for an honest review.

I received a free copy from Netgalley all opinions are my own.
First of all I give this book 4,5 stars.
The reason I'm not giving it 5 stars is because I'm not a fan of changing from past to present, and a couple of other small things annoyed me.
That is to say that I absolutely loved this book! I really liked this, and I didn't hate the switching between POV's and the switching between past and present. I found it very fitting, and it actually pulled me in.
I liked that the past was in Elliots POV and the present was in Amas POV.
I would say that I like flowers, but all those flowers that were mentioned had me stopping up in the book to google them because I wanted to know what they were talking about.

I would definitely read this again. And I will definitely read the authors other books in the future!

Wedding planner with a broken heart. How do you mend it when you have to work with your ex on a celebrity wedding together. The wedding can take your business to the next level but is the pain worth it? Follow. Ama and Elliott as they navigate the pain and planning of the wedding.
You will smile and enjoy all the characters.

This was my first book by Julie Soto, and I'm not entirely certain what I was expecting, but I was completely blown away. I adored Ama and Elliot's relationship, especially their banter. I simply wish there had been more interaction between them throughout Hazel's Wedding. I enjoyed the dual timeline in this book, and Julie staged the past timeline so that it could be read at the perfect times. I spent the whole book on the edge of my seat waiting to find out what had taken place between these two that pushed them apart, and I couldn't have been happier when they got back together. And the scene in which he didn't mute the phone, oh my goodness, it was just too cute! I really enjoyed reading about these two and this was such a well written book. I had an absolute blast reading about these two, and the book was extremely well written.

“It drives me up the wall. She’s all business, and all I can think about is how badly I want to put my mouth on her until she screams.”

I received an advance review copy from NetGalley, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.

Ama is a wedding planner. Her mother was married a lot of times and she has a small army of current and past step-siblings (that help her with business).
Ama is planning a celebrity wedding, that could put her business on the map. The only problem, they want Elliont as their florist.

The brides are determined to set them up. But Elliot and Ama have a painful history holding them back.

I like the story a lot but had the hardest time getting into it.

4.5 ⭐️

Here are the things I loved about this book:
❤️‍🩹 Second chance romance
😡 Super grumpy dude
🫣 A woman terrified of love
💍 Wedding planner x florist
🗓️ Dual timelines
🌶️ Great spice
❤️‍🔥 The tension between these two!

This was a great read. In fact, I found it hard to put it down. It was written incredibly well and I loved the tension between these two characters. Ama is a wedding planner who has just landed the wedding of a lifetime, complete with a celebrity bride and a reality TV show. The only problem is that the florist tied to the wedding is her super grumpy ex, Elliot. They broke each other's hearts and never thought they'd have to work together again. The story is told over two timelines, with Elliot sharing the past and Ama guiding us through the present. We don't really know what happened to break them up until we're towards the end of the present storyline, but it surely does implode. Elliot is a relationship guy, and thanks to her mother's 16 failed marriages, Ama is the complete opposite. She doesn't want to get married, she barely wants a relationship.

Their love story is messy and complicated and rife with mental health issues, but in reuniting, these two messy people get a do-over. Their career ambition pushes them forward and shows them how wonderful they work as a team, and how much they really do love each other. I love the little ways they show that they love each other, especially Elliot, who can't help but look after Ama. They are very much the epitome of 'opposites attract', with Ama being bright and bubbly and prone to nervous rants, and Elliot being quiet and scowly and a man of very few words, but somehow they work together. They're a wonderful couple. I only wish I got to read more about them together at the end of the book.

This story is full of humour and heartbreak and that feeling of being desperate for someone. I definitely recommend it!

Thanks to #NetGalley for the ARC in exchange for an honest review.

Steamy grumpy/sunshine romance about a wedding planner and a florist. I loved reading this, gave me all the feels.

This was such a sweet, addictive second-chance romance following a wedding planner and a florist who are forced to work together to create one of the biggest weddings of their careers.

I loved their banter, chemistry, and only wished we had more moments between Ama and Elliot to make me fall for them even more, considering a large portion of this novel centred solely around the wedding. Other than that, it was the perfect read to lift my spirits and I absolutely would recommend this book to anyone who loves romance and the second chance trope.
