A really sweet story that was brimming with chemistry and soft moments between the couple. A pleasure to read

** this is going to be a Forever favorite. I also think it convinced me to do a vow renewal somehow. **
This is a very steamy grumpy sunshine romance between a wedding planner and a florist who were once together, we have no idea why they broke up, and they find themselves working on a wedding together — and not because they want to — years after their relationship ended.
Ama is the owner of her own planning business, and this new job is a huge break and I loved that part of her story was this weird dynamic with her old boss who once gave her *her* big break. Ama learns about herself through the work on the wedding; she grows stronger and more confident and I just loved that for her because she is damn good at what she does.
Elliot is a florist who has taken over his dad’s shop. He’s very creative, HE HATES DONUTS, and he seems so unfeeling but it is a ploy because he is squishy inside. He’s thoughtful and kindhearted and the sort of person who probably thinks he’s terrible with people but actually quite great. He’s like this silent superhero with a scowl and I just enjoyed getting to know him so much. (He has tattoos!!)

This book has been on my list of anticipated reads for 2023 so I was beyond thrilled to receive an e-arc of this. Do you ever get that inkling when you *just know* that a book is going to be for you? I got that when I saw the cover and blurb for Forget Me Not, and thankfully I was right.
Our main characters Ama (a wedding planner) & Elliot (a florist) have a complicated history with each other and have managed to successfully avoid one another on the circuit for the last 2yrs or so. But now they've both been hired for the same wedding and there is no way to back out.
Julie Soto manages to perfectly blend light-hearted comedy with some serious angst. I think the split timelines in the dual POV’s helped to achieve this, as well as giving us the much needed insight into how Ama & Elliot’s “relationship” began and developed.
I had such a good time reading this – I laughed, I cried (thanks very much) and I felt everything that the characters were going through, which is such a testament to the authors writing.
Speaking of which, I absorbed this book. I read it so quickly and hated putting it down which almost never happens. Everything flowed beautifully and was really well paced.
I thought the main characters, as well as the side characters (Mar in particular) were interesting and well thought out. I found Ama really endearing, if a little naive at times, but you were always rooting for her. I am a real sucker for the quiet, stoic, tall, dark & handsome love interest so Elliot was everything I could have wanted from a MMC.
Overall I would thoroughly recommend this book, it was an easy 5 star read for me & I can’t wait to see what the author publishes next!
Thank you to NetGalley & HarperCollins UK for gifting me with an e-arc.

4.25/5 stars! This is the grumpy sunshine contemporary romance I have been waiting for. This is also a second-chance romance. The story was charming and the author did a great job of creating 3-dimensional characters for the reader to root for.
I received a free copy of this book via NetGalley and am voluntarily leaving a review

I think there's some sort of unwritten rule in romance, that Elliot's all really hot. Because it was so hard to put this book down, and that was mainly because of Elliot. Honestly, I don't know how to move on from this level of hotness. He was perfection.
Ama was everything you'd want in a leading lady and more. Overall, this book had me hooked all the way through. Julie Soto knows how to reel you in with amazing characters, humour and wit.
I'm so glad I got to read this. I can't wait to see what Julie Soto has in store for us next!
Thank you to the publisher for kindly providing me with an ARC via NetGalley. All opinions are my own.

Thank you to the publisher and NetGalley for this eARC of 'Forget Me Not' by Julie Soto.
This book has been screenshotted and stuck in my phones gallery since the cover was announced so recieving the ARC for 'Forget Me Not' by debut author Julie Soto was exciting to me. However, nobody and I mean nobody could get me to like these characters. From the beginning, I couldn't grow to like Elliot. A lot of other reviews say the same but they ended up liking him. I couldn't get myself to feel that way. The concept of the book was interesting but the characters just threw me.

Thankyou to NetGalley and HarperCollins UK, HarperFiction, HarperCollins for a free e-arc in exchange of an honest review!
WOW! I loved every minute of this!
Second Chance romance
Dual time line of the story- which meant there was a traditional third act issue, which is a winner for me!
Dual POV- loved the use of Elliots POV!
I loved the main characters and all the characters actually! I really hope this is a series that will eventually follow the other characters too as i was Mar's story!
Spice is done really well in my opinion and theres a good amount of it!
Honestly dont think i would change anything about it! One of the easiest 5 stars iv given so far!

I have been waiting to read this book ever since it was announced, and I wasn’t disappointed. I loved the wedding setup, that the heroine, Ama, was a wedding planner, with her dedication and commitment to getting every wedding perfect. Elliot was such a gruff, sexy, soft-underneath hero and I loved how they complimented each other.
The love story is so emotional, the steamy scenes are super sizzling, and I loved the dual timelines. I could easily have read about Ama, Elliot and those gorgeous flowers for another 300 pages.
A gorgeously romantic debut sparkling with emotion, chemistry and tenderness. Now I want to fill my house with flowers, doughnuts and, quite possibly, Elliot Bloom too.

This isn’t a book I’ll be forgetting any time soon.
Following the lives of wedding planner Ama and florist Elliot, the book is set to a dual timeline of their relationship and career.
You can expect influencers, reality tv, more step siblings than you can keep track of, commitment issues, a questionable ex boss, second chance, grumpy x sunshine and a cat with a fantastic name (plus much more).
A fun, easy, romantic read that will have you filling your home with flowers.
Thank you NetGalley and Harper Collins UK for the ARC.

This gorgeous, gorgeous book surprised me. Not in that I wouldn't like the characters or the story, but in that second chance romances aren't my thing and Forget Me Not is definitely a second chance. The story of Ama Torres and Elliot Bloom is told through two interweaving timelines, one from when they first met, and the other is the present.
Ama has just been hired for a wedding that will put her on the map. The only problem is the brides want Blooming to be in charge of the florals, and Blooming happens to be run by Elliot Bloom, Ama's ex.
This book has quite a quick pace, what with all the wedding planning going on, but added into all that hecticness are these little snippets of Ama and Elliot's relationship, how they started, and all their firsts. Each of these is told from Elliot's point of view, which I loved because the rest of the book, which is in the present, is Ama's.
I don't know what to say other than I loved this book. It's beautiful—a love story with heartache, yearning and undeniable passion. Ama and Elliot are their best selves when they're together, and it shows.

I was really excited by the premise of this book. However, I felt the characterisation lacking, and the relationship between Ama and Elliot awkward at best with little chemistry and almost no attachment to the characters.
That being said, this book was an enjoyable read, and Julie Soto is an incredibly talented writer. Fans of Ali Hazelwood will undoubtedly love "Forget Me Not."

Forget Me Not is a fluent novel to read, an enjoyable story to spend time with, but in my opinion nothing exciting.
Obviously I am speaking for myself, but unfortunately the spark did not go off. I found the story rather flat and emotionless.
