A heartfelt story of three sisters coming back to their childhood home upon their aunt’s death. Estranged and holding grudges for fifteen years, Leah, Sadie, and Emma work together to renovate their home to become an inn. Each dealing with their own secrets and internal struggles, reliving some of their most treasured and difficult memories.

I thought this novel was well written, but slightly repetitive at times. I really liked each of the sisters and could empathize with them and relate to some of their struggles. I will not lie, the last couple chapters when things fall into place (and the epilogue) did make me tear up! Overall an enjoyable and low key read.

I absolutely loved it! A very poignant novel that truly has a heartfelt ending.

Leah, the oldest sister who lives in Chicago with her husband and two girls is always hustling and bustling until her husband decides it’s time for them to part ways. The girls take a month long visit with their dad while their mom has nothing to do, but her aunt unexpectedly passes away which draws her and her other two sisters back to their family home in a small-town. Her family is rejoined together at their family home to mourn the passing of their aunt and the story unfolds from there. A very poor decisions divides Leah and her one sister, but time allows for healing and the past is left in the past.

This novel was not an emotional read, but heartfelt.

A real magic romantic story. Three sisters find their way back together after the death of the aunt who raised them. A great small town, and an old house just waiting for them to remake it. Lovely story.
