I am a massive fan of 'The No2 Feline Detective Agency' series and I was so excited to be able to read this. The book didn't let me down. I binge read it in a couple of days. It's probably one of my favourites of the series.
It was interesting to find out a bit more about Tilly's family tree. I love that the detective agency is expanding a bit aswell with help from Bruiser, Dolly and the Butter sisters. The book is full of suspense, crime, murder and plenty of cat puns. If you are a fan of cosy crime and murder mysteries then give this series a read. You will love hearing about the adventures that Hettie Batshot and Tilly Jenkins find themselves on :)
Thankyou so much NetGallery UK, the author Mandy Morton and the publishers for letting me read this book in return for an honest review.
Mandy Morton writes books that you won’t forget. Intelligent and 3D characters, while they are cats, you’ll know someone like each. Every mystery is fully formed, intellect, cunning and whip smart motive are always present.
The windmill murders is for everyone, there’s thriller, horror, history, fun. An absolute tour de force.
I surprised my lself by how much h I enjoyed this book. I'm not the biggest cat lover but I absolutely adored this.
Such love for all the characters and I really enjoyed the take on the story too, it was very unique. Woukd happily recommend and even read more in this series
This book turned out to be really stinkin cute! I loved Hettie and Tilly’s friendship so much and the author was able to give the full depth of their bond. All the characters were well developed and lovable. Overall a unique take on a cat-tastic murder mystery. Also a sucker for a good cover which is what drew me in. Thanks NetGalley for the advanced copy!
Another triumph by Mandy Morton.
Incredible characters, fabulous puns and a storyline with wonderful twists and turns.
Mandy manages to create a society where cats with jobs is the norm and I love how easily you can slip in to their way of life. The use of language creates an immersive environment that I can see clearly and I want nothing more than a Butters Pie!
