I must admit the cover and title both drew my attention, and I was really unsure of what to expect here. It is, indeed, dinosaurs copulating with a women. I am not a fan in general of romance, or erotica books, but I do like that the language in this book veered towards a female perspective, in regards to sex. Very silly, futuristic setting, and honestly this book sort of reminded me of the book House of Holes by Nicholson Baker in its absurdity. It was also a very fast read; I was able to finish it in about 30 minutes. I think if you're looking for a palette cleanser after reading something very emotionally heavy or dense, this would be just the fun read! I will keep Lola Faust on my radar for future tales of bizarre, and thank you to NetGalley and Publisher for the ARC!

This novella would be better suited for a pornagraphic story telling site. The story is fun and erotic but it's not well written enough for people's hard earned money. There is no evidence of any editing. The storyline is almost non-existent and it's hard to follow. I would advise the author to go back to the beginning and rewrite it. Figure out what anatomy is being used and explain who, what and how. Then add more story to the erotic side of it.

This book is as provocative as its title. It's a fairly short novella with little build up to the...uh... exciting content. Yes it's weird, but all things considered I found this to be actually kinda creative and decently written. Not my cup of tea but it certainly adds something unique to the genre.

Every once in a while, you start to read a book for a laugh and walk away wondering if it's going to be the whole "being a lapsed catholic" thing or the time I spent reading a terrible book that would make my grandmother come back from the dead to kill me. I've finally found that book.

It is what it says on the tin and it was....fun? I guess? Erin needs therapy.

I love dinosaurs and I knew dino erotica exists. It's crazy and a lot of fun. One of those book that could be a cult book as they're totally over the top.

I read this because the trend is so popular. It was painful. The plot was non-existent. It was only smut. The book was rife with misspellings and grammar issues. I wanted to try and enjoy this different experience but this was just awful

Welllll... This was interesting to say the least.. lol..
I feel like it was "The Barbarian" but instead of aliens it was dinosaurs in Jurassic park....
Note quite sure how I feel about this one... I think i'll stick to reading about the aliens, at least they are somewhat like a human....

Well, what was I expecting, really? This is exactly what you think it's going to be, and after seeing it around so much my curiousity got the better of me. It's definitely a unique and creative story, and if you want some fast-paced dinosaur smut, hey, it fits the bill.

I'm all for some ridiculously lighthearted smutty reads in between more serious books, but this one didn't really work for me because it just felt so rushed and the smut was kind of confusing and hard to follow. A lot of the time I couldn't even tell what was really happening between them. If I'm going to read ridiculous porn I'd like it to be somewhat titillating at least.

Points for creativity though!

Thank you to BooksGoSocial and NetGalley for the ARC in exchange for my honest review!

Did a publisher or any editor look at this? The formatting was terrible, the writing seemed like it was written by AI, and the story made little to no sense. I understand in ridiculous monster romance there is some suspense of disbelief but this just didn’t make any sense.

I received a review copy from NetGalley but I kinda wish I hadn't!

1 star for these covers because I love them.

Look, I was looking for ridiculous and over the top, but this is just straight up beastiality.

I love me some crazy fantasy romance monster books. but this was just....gross.

I have NEVER given a book 1 star. Well congratulations Lola Faust you became the first.

It's written almost like the author had a drunken fever dream one night and wrote this book. It's TERRIBLY written. It had so much potential and is definitely a bonkers book. It could've been great, if the dinos where sentient, thinking, talking something else to make them more human like. but the heroine basically pets a triceratops, he leans into her hand and she figures that's her in to have sex with it. it felt very much like animal rape as she goes back in time to also drive-by fuck a few other dinos. Monster romance works because they can communicate, have thought, agency and give consent. animals can't do that. so that's where it moved from funny bonkers romance territory into a straight animal sex fantasy book. and it just grossed me out.

I knew this would be terrible but I was at least hoping for terrible funny because clearly these are meant to be outrageous. I wanted to love them for that fact alone, but sadly this just wasn't it. And I'm a crude person who laughs at everything! IT PAINS ME to give this one star because this cover is everything. but that's where it stops for me. I have apparently met my hard limit, and it is sex with animals.

The concept of this books is really innovative and interesting. The formatting and grammar needs a lot of bell though. It needs an editor for the many spelling mistakes and maybe to flesh out sentence structure a little more. I think with editorial changes this could be a really interesting read!

I did a double-take when I saw this on NetGalley, laughed, and kept scrolling, but ultimately went back because I was too curious as to the logistics lol.

Anyways, there was not much of a plot, and this was absolutely nothing like I thought it was going to be. I thought this was going to be about a dino shifter or something, but no...no it was not a romance between a dino shifter and a woman. The story is about a woman named Erin who is bored in the year 2122. She learns that there is an invention of a time machine and decides to travel back to the Jurassic period. She meets a triceratops and realizes that despite it not being able to speak, it can understand her. Then well...you know, they do the deed.

There are a couple of short stories in this book that I was surprised about. In the other stories, she continues to meet more dinos. There is an additional bonus story that is about a woman named Alice who finds out that the anonymous person she's been messaging is a T-Rex. This story takes place in modern times rather than the Jurassic period.

I honestly was surprised by the story, but also not too surprised due to the cover and the title. Let's just say that Lola Faust has quite the imagination.

I hate to give a one star, but the ebook version is hard to read and I stopped trying to manage where I was in the story a few pages in. I can't speak about the spice level or if the sex is good. Sadly the author needs to go through their Ebook PDF to make sure it works on all devices. I easily had to reread three times a page to realize a page break happened when it didn't need to.

Well, I knew exactly what I was getting into when I chose this book. But still....eeeewwwwwww. I gave a two star rating because this definitely made me laugh though I think this will be my last foray into dinosaur porn.

Triceratops and Bottoms is a very niche erotica book. If you are into Dino-erotica, this may be a book you would enjoy. If not, I would definitely pass on this short story collection.

Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for this ARC in exchange for an honest review.

You know, I did this to myself.

If you’re into some dub-con slash bestiality dinosaur erotica, Triceratops and Bottoms is the book for you. I…still don’t really know why I read this except for a fatal case of curiosity.

Tiny extra star added for the final story about a T-Rex security guard who was sentient and spoke so it didn’t feel icky or weird. If there is more about him, give me a call!

Thank you to BooksGoSocial for the review copy!

I very rarely take edits into consideration with advanced copies because I know it isn’t the final. However I really can’t ignore how difficult it was to read this with the formatting issues and spelling errors on every page.

I tend to pick books like this up for some fun and lighthearted smut. Usually I’m just looking for a bit of a laugh and to break up some of my more emotionally intense reads. The storyline is broken up into miniature sections and jumps wildly. There is no communication whatsoever with the dinosaurs and really toes the line of “dubcon” which just doesn’t vibe with me in this sort of telling.

Thank you NetGalley for providing me with an advanced copy

I really don't know where to begin with this. First, let me say that writing a book is something that any author should be proud of. I firmly believe there is a story for everyone and I hope this story finds its desired reader.
However I cannot in good faith give this a positive review for the following reasons:
1) The writing was underdeveloped. There were times when I was confused about (well, a lot of things but...) the consistency of the story and what was actually happening. On multiple occasions I kept thinking maybe I skipped a page in my Kindle (which was not the case).
2) The first ~48% of the book is about the triceratops and then it just switches to several short chapters/stories about other dinosaur encounters which was super confusing. These short chapters were very choppy and were almost separate stories, but frankly felt like afterthoughts and were unneccessary.
3) I can't believe I'm saying this but there were definitely consent issues.

Thank you NetGalley for the advanced copy.
