Catherine Swift is a bestselling Romance novelist and lives on the beautiful island of Corfu. She has been married 3 times and is looking forward to a chapter in her life and getting married again for the fourth time. With the hope of a new start in life, she wants a new chapter in her writing too. She has written a crime novel and hopes her agent will like it.
She has invited both her daughters to the wedding, both has different fathers and completely different to one another. Young Catherine is the most happiest in life but older sister Adeline is very serious and hasn’t spoken to either her mother and sister for a long time. But she hopes that the wedding will bring them both together. She hasn’t revealed who her new husband to be is. She wants it to be a surprise. But when the girls arrive on the island and find out that she is marrying her first husband again, (Adeline’s father). Things don’t go as planned as she had hoped.
The Summer Wedding is the second book now from the author I have read. I really enjoyed this heart-warming tale which was more of a family drama than a romance novel. A story of secrets and new beginnings. I really liked the descriptions of the places in Corfu, which made me feel like I was there. But I did feel the story was quite drawn out at the end. 4 stars from me.

I have read a few of Sarah Morgan’s books and really enjoyed them so couldn’t wait to start her latest summer read. I thought the cover was bath bright and summery and would encourage me to buy this book.
I loved the characters in the story and initially how different they were even though they were family. It’s was a romantic story but also focused heavily on family and another theme (no spoilers)which isn’t in many romance books but I don’t feel this was a negative. It was nice to have a bit more substance to the story and held my interest.
I thought the setting of Corfu was lovely and I could almost feel the sun, sand and the warm sea.
I would definitely recommend this book as a fantastic summer read even though I shed a few tears.
Thanks to Netgalley, HQ and Sarah Morgan for an advanced copy in exchange for an honest and unbiased review.

On the face of it this was a summer romance book but darker issues are addressed. Told from the POVs of Catherine, who is about to get married for the fourth time, and her two daughters, family dynamics are the overriding issue but the origins of these are the most interesting part of the story. Highly recommended

I think I have read just about every Sarah Morgan book ever written (yes even some of the Mills and boons from her very early catalogue) and the reason I love her books is because they are always uplifting, funny and have very likeable/realistic characters- and by that I mean people with flaws and insecurities which are far more believable than the perfect images some other authors write about.
This book followed a a very Sarah Morgan format with three main characters - a mother and her two daughters (in past novels/series she may have written about 3 friends or 3 siblings etc). The mother is the famous romance novelist - Catherine Swift who has a history of secrets and although she has an amazing relationship with her youngest daughter (Cassie Dunn) has a polite almost civil relationship with her eldest daughter the also famous Dr. Adeline Swift.
The family meet up on the island of Corfu for Catherine's forth wedding to a mystery man. When his identity is revealed to her daughters neither of them react in the way she expects and as they try to move forward her life time of secrets are revealed causing shock, heartache and surprise for all involved.

Thank you to Negalley for the chance to read this book in exhale for an honest review.

Summer Wedding by Sarah Morgan is a lovely summer read that combines romance with a dysfunctional family saga and secrets. The setting in Greece is beautifully described and adds a charming and romantic atmosphere to the story. However, I did find the book to be a bit too long, with some parts dragging on unnecessarily. Despite this, the plot is engaging and the characters are well-developed. Overall, I would recommend "Summer Wedding" as a perfect beach read for those who love a good romantic story with a dash of family drama.

I was attracted to this book as a nice pleasant summer read and was surprised in a good way to find it some twists and turns in the family saga
It's a very good book.

I have read a number of books by Sarah Morgan, and they always have a great sense of place. "Summer Wedding" is set in Corfu, in and around the idyllic-sounding home of successful romance author Catherine Swift.

Daughters Adeline and Cassandra are invited to their mother's fourth wedding, although Catherine is coy about announcing the name of her betrothed. The girls have a difficult relationship as they haven't seen each other for about 20 years. Everyone has lots going on in their lives and it is quite a struggle for this dysfunctional family to resolve their differences. A great family drama with some romance thrown in to the mix.

Thanks to Net Galley and the publishers for the opportunity to review this book.

Another of Sarah's trademark family dramas, this time set in the idyllic location of Corfu where Catherine Swift lives every novelist's dream - she has success, she has a gorgeous Greek villa with a pool and a boat and she's about to get married to a man who has loved her for years. But there's a dark underside tainting her happiness. She's estranged from her eldest daughter and is keeping secrets that could destroy her family and the life she has built forever.
Meanwhile oldest daughter Adeline lives a tightly controlled life with no room for impulse or emotion and younger daughter Cassie is too dreaming of a romantic hero who will sweep her off her feet to see that maybe what she's searching for has been under her nose all along. When the two sisters reunite at their mother's wedding they find themselves realising that maybe the past isn't as black and white as they had thought - and that the future is theirs to write if they are just brave enough to try.
This is a book about mothers and daughters, about sisters, about family ties and the half truths that shape us, tinged with romance, enhanced by the glorious backdrop of Corfu. An emotional and satisfying summery read.

Summer Wedding is not your typical Sarah Morgan romantic escapism. Set in Corfu, Catherine is a successful author who is stuck in a rut. Her 2 daughters used to be close but for reasons I can’t mention (spoilers!) have drifted apart. Adeline is a successful doctor who also writes agony Aunt style columns and Cassie is an aspiring author who is writing about her parents romance. When Catherine announces she’s getting married again, Adeline doesn’t want to go but Cassie wants to revel in the romance of it. But all is not as it seems and it takes a lot of heart to hearts and explaining for the truth to be uncovered. Can they repair their relationships before the secrets destroy them?

All in all a good book, great characters and a bit more depth to the story than your typical rom com. I just don’t get on as well with books that have multiple POVs from different characters and I wasn’t mentally prepared for anything other than pure escapist romance! Worth a read though, as all Sarah’s books are.

The book was provided to me for free by NetGalley in return for an honest review.

Another fabulous book from Sarah. Set on Corfu this time. Catherine is a very successful writer of romantic stories. However her love life hasn’t been as good. She’s going to be marrying her fourth husband and wants her two adult children to be there to celebrate it with her. She’s given no clues about the new groom. The daughters had different fathers. Adeline doesn’t really want to go but Cassie had lived out there for various times in her life. There’s a huge shock when the groom to be is revealed and an even bigger shock after secrets about Cassies father come out into the open. I don’t want to give too much away. It made me cry which is always a good sign. I loved it.

An enjoyable summer read. I liked the multiple storytellers of this book, giving three sides to the one story which added dimension to the storyline.
Set amongst a glorious backdrop of the Greek coastline this is a story of family, friendships and finding (and also re-kindling) romance. Following the ups and downs amongst each of the main characters as we, the reader, gain insight into what has led them all to the summer wedding.
A feel-good story with some touching moments, a perfect read for the summer.

Half sisters, Adeline and Cassie return to Corfu to their mother's 4th wedding .Adeline has problems arising from her childhood, now she learns her parents are remarrying . She and her sister have not bonded for years . Can the wedding repair past wrongs or will it make matters worse? Another great read from Sarah Morgan.

A beautiful location with the history of the family not being all it seems as is true of many families. Great story line with a few twists and turns. What's not to love about this latest book from Sarah Morgan. Great relaxing read whether at home on on holiday.

Thanks to Netgalley and Sarah Morgan for the ARC on return for an honest review.

With a little hint of Mama Mia in this plot this manages not to slavishly copy that banging musical and has plenty of twists. . Importantly there is no singing bad or otherwise. We get several points of view in this as the two daughters negotiate the drama of their mother remarrying yet again. As both daughters are from different marriages they have to negotiate their own fractured relationship and come to terms with the past. The setting is exotic enough and there is plenty of plot including long buried secrets, to satisfy this hungry reader. I enjoyed it very much.

Always enjoy a Sarah Morgan book, although they are usually set at Christmas.
This one is set on the island of Corfu and is about the wedding of Adeline's mother. They are not close, as Adeline has lived with her father since she was young. There are revelations on the way that come along totally unexpected. Thoroughly enjoyed

When Adeline finds out her mother is getting married for the fourth time, she dreads the wedding.
She and her mother have never been close, not since she was sent to live with her father as a child.
Cassie is looking forward to the wedding but looking forward less to seeing her stepsister again.
When revelations are made they rock the whole family and everything each of the sisters believes in.
Really good book

A story told from three perspectives set in beautiful Corfu. I could almost feel the sunshine on my face. The description was vivid.
Sarah Morgan never fails with her feel good stories and I absolutely adored this one.
Thank you to Netgalley and the publisher for an ARC in return for an honest review. It was pure pleasure.

Unsure how the story of 'Summer Wedding' was going to unfold it kept my interest throughout. Written by the perspective of 3 people Catherine the mother and writer, Adeline the older daughter of the first marriage and Cassie the younger daughter of her second marriage.

Catherine living in Corfu invites both daughters to join her in celebrating her getting married for the 4th time.

What really worked for this book was the story of 3 peoples perspectives in what had happened in the past and in the now. 3 totally different personalities coming together.

Sarah Morgan has a lovely way of building Characters and wanting to know how the story develops and so becomes a book you don't want to put down.

This is my honest review for Netgalley Advanced Copy.

I usually feel more drawn to Sarah Morgan's Christmas novels than the summer ones but the idyllic setting of Corfu was so well drawn that I could almost feel myself there. The characters, as always, were both complex and relateable.
Morgan was obviously drawing on the world she knows best as Catherine is a well known romantic novelist and her daughter Cassie is set to follow in her footsteps; I felt there was a degree of irony at play at times!
I quickly guessed who the groom would be but this did nothing to spoil my enjoyment of the perfect holiday read.
