Half sisters Adeline and Cassie have received invitations to their mum Catherine's  wedding but they dont know who her new fiancee is!

The girls have different feelings about this wedding: Cassie is pleased for her mum and is looking forward to the wedding in Corfu and, hopefully, it will be an opportunity to reconnect with her estranged older sister.  Adeline is more cautious, she has seen her Mum hurt before and how she also hurt her father... this is her fourth wedding after all!

I found the storyline a little predictable and I guessed the main twists. However. It is am enjoyable feel-good summer read.

What a lovely book. Seemed slightly different to some of her previous books but I loved it. I didn't think I would take to Catherine, however as the book went on I totally changed. There was a lot more to this book than you first think. Brilliantly written. Would recommend to All.

Summer wedding is a beautiful book about the importance of family bonds.
When Catherine sends wedding invitations to both her daughters who she has very different relationships with they are met with very different responses.
Both Adeline and Cassie travel to Corfu for the wedding and never expected their strained relationship to take the turn it does.
Both learning about love and family values this a fantastic summer read which will make you keep on reading until the end.
Thank you NetGalley for an ARC of Sarah’s gorgeous summer read.

This book has three strong female characters who are likeable but at times annoying. As the story unfolds you learn of their backstories and why they are the way they are. The fact that the book is set in Corfu helps to lighten the mood and lets you dream of hot sunny days by the coast. I found the book slightly predictable however I still enjoyed it and would recommend.

This is just the summer read you need!

A story set on Corfu, with chapters alternating between mother Catherine Swift and her daughters Adeline and Cassie. This gave the book a wonderful flow and we really got to know these strong, relatable characters.

Albeit a bit predictive, I thoroughly enjoyed my second book by Sarah Morgan. I shall come back for more.

A predicatable but good read. It was fairly easy to see where the story was leading but this gave a sense of being "in with" the main characters. It was good to see the relationships develop and ebb and flow..

Who could not enjoy a romance set on a sunny isle and delight in character rebuilding broken relationships.

I absolutely love a Sarah Morgan book and this one did not disappoint. I loved it. I love the setting of Corfu and could imagine being there swimming with Stefano!! I really loved all of the characters and just wanted to envelop every single one of them in a hug for different reasons. Even with the fact this book had a tough back story it felt like a very inspiring, positive read. It was just lovely! Yet another book by this author that I adore. Simply brilliant. 100% recommend!

Morgan's latest novel follows three main female characters (always a good start - Girl Power!): Catherine, a middle-aged romance writer embarking on a new marriage and a new genre of writing; Adeline, Catherine's eldest daughter and self-proclaimed emotional rock; and Cassie, Catherine's youngest daughter, aspiring writer and hopeless romantic falling for all her mother's seemingly impulsive acts in the name of true love. Adeline is less than thrilled about her mother's fourth marriage, while Cassie supports her unwaveringly. They both head to Corfu for the wedding anyway, and secrets begin leaking out.
I found this book difficult to get into. For me, the start was too slow, with extended flashbacks giving us perhaps unnecessary information about the characters' backgrounds. I felt this would have been better explored as the characters arrived on the island, even if it just gave me the sunny setting I was craving a bit sooner!
What I did like though, was the narrative viewpoint changing between the three main characters. I always enjoy different viewpoints and it gave me time to get to know each of them. Adeline's feisty and firm attitude was probably the most relatable, and I liked that she developed throughout the novel as she let herself sink into island life.
My main criticism with this novel, however, is its genre. To be perfectly honest, I'm not sure what genre Morgan was aiming for here. Based on the cover, I was expecting a summery, cheesy romance, but it's not romantically-focused enough for that. However, based on the blurb I was expecting more of a thriller, but the secrecy wasn't really intense or unpredictable enough to be a decent thriller or drama. I think a few more conversations between editors and marketing might be necessary for Sarah Morgan's next novel.
All in all, a character-driven family feud built into some stunning scenery, but not compelling enough.

This was the perfect summer read! Sarah Morgan has an amazing way of completely whisking you away and with her amazing descriptions it felt as if I was at Corfu with these characters.

One of the things I love about Sarah's books are how her books are so much more than just a romance. Summer Wedding is a story about family and, in the case, the strained and broken relationships between our main characters.

Told in multiple points of view, we get to really know these characters and as the story develops we get to see how they all feel regarding the secrets that get revealed throughout.

Sarah Morgan is such an amazing author whose intense backlog I am determined to get to at out point! I definitely recommend picking this one up if you're looking for a captivating and page turning book this summer!

I enjoyed Summer Wedding by Sarah Morgan.
It wasn’t a straightforward rom-com which is what I thought it was going to be – never judge a book by its cover indeed.
Catherine Swift, is a famous romance author who has a strong relationship with your youngest daughter but wants to rebuild her relationship with her eldest daughter. She’s holding back about her past – will her secrets be revealed?

Cassie Dunn is the youngest daughter of Catherine and is an aspiring romance writer herself. Just as she should be on a high about her writing aspirations everything she thought to be the truth about her childhood comes crashing down by her ears and are her feelings for her best friend platonic or is there more to their relationship than friendship?

Adeline Swift is the eldest daughter of Catherine and is a psychologist who can give out dish out advice but when it comes to her own emotions she doesn’t practice what she preaches. When the bombshell drops will she be able to repair her relationship with her parents, her half-sister and rekindle a friendship or perhaps more with a long-lost childhood friend.
Summer Wedding is a great slice of escapism perfect for your summer holiday reading.

There is something about a Sarah Morgan - always a relatively easy read, but the characters are always well rounded and relatable. When romance writer Catherine invites her daughters back to Corfu for her wedding, she hopes it will be a chance to repair deteriorated relationships.

The outcome felt slightly predictable, and the overall book was maybe a tiny bit too long for my liking, but I throughly enjoyed it. Thank you!

Adeline and her sister, Cassie, gather at their mother's house in Corfu to find out who their mother is going to marry. When all is revealed, family dynamics are all pulled apart as old feelings are explored and new information is revealed.
It was a fab story with believable characters looking at how different family members see their past in different ways, shaping how they behave. Lots of twists too.
Great to get lost in.

I always love a new Sarah Morgan and I enjoyed this one, getting to know the characters and soaking up the warmth and beauty of Corfu. However I did see every part of the story coming - from the identity of the groom to what had happened with Cassie's father. This didn't detract from the enjoyment of the setting and the story. #netgalley #summerwedding

Summer Wedding - Sarah Morgan

Sarah Morgan is a must read author for me, I always know that I will not be disappointed, she provides the reader with an immersive story line that pulls you into the characters lives and allows you to follow them along for their journeys. I particularly enjoyed the setting for this book (Catherine's villa in Corfu) and loved reading it in the sunshine this bank holiday weekend - I could pretend I was there! I very much enjoyed the tension and suspense between the two sisters and their mother and especially Cassie's personality as she brought an uplifting quality to Adeline's more spiky charm. Thank you so much Netgalley, HQ and Sarah Morgan for the e-arc of this book in return for my honest thoughts and opinions.

Another great book from Sarah Morgan.
I loved the story and knew from the beginning there was something more going on.
The characters were all relatable and yet so different from each other. I was drawn in from the beginning.
I couldn’t put it down.

Thanks to NetGalley for the eARC.

Romance author Catherine is getting married and invites both her daughters to join the celebrations… Could this be a chance to fix family relationships?
I enjoyed the setting and three character perspective but it was lacking the usual Sarah Morgan magic.

This is a story of strained family relationships and a sense of betrayal that has affected them all. Adeline and Cassie are the two sisters, with an 8 year age gap. Adeline is resentful because after her mother’s affair and subsequent divorce, she was sent away from her baby sister to live with her father. Cathy is the mother, who is also an author. I can’t understand why Cathy waited so long to explain the situation, especially as the girls got older and then the way she presented things to them was all wrong! There were so many years they missed out on being together. I’ve no doubt that in her way she loved her daughters but I just couldn’t take to this character. There are a few romances in the story that all pan out perhaps a bit too neatly. This was an interesting read. I received a copy and have voluntarily reviewed it. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

A well written if rather lengthy, for me, book. The characters are well depicted as you would expect from this author . It is or Ethan’s romance novel as it depicts the interaction between family members and how relationships can colour the future. A few twists and turns particularly around the mothers back story but also some predictable outcomes

I adore Sarah Morgan’s books and how she releases a new one each Christmas and each summer. Summer Wedding is set on Corfu and is filled with what you expect a Sarah Morgan book to be chock full of; family drama, intrigue, secrets and complicated characters.

Summer Wedding is another delightful read that you will want to carry on reading until you sadly finish it and have to leave the Greek Island of Corfu behind.

I received an advance copy of this book from HQ through Netgalley, however this did not influence my unbiased honest review of the book.

Sarah Morgan's books are an autobuy for me, and I was thrilled to be approved for an early look at this one. Filled with the author's trademark warm characters, and well observed relationships, this is one for the keepers' shelf.

Thank you to NetGalley and to the publisher for allowing me to read this book in exchange for an honest review.
