Catherine, an established author, living on the Greek island of Corfu, is getting married for the fourth time. Her children, Adeline and Cassie, estranged half sisters, are both invited. One is looking forward to it more than the other.
They don’t know anything about who she is marrying any they both have conflicting relationships of their own.
A good read set in a warm country which is always better!

Sarah Morgan never disappoints!! Wonderful summer escapism!! Summertime on Corfu, a Greek island paradise, mix in some family dynamics, relationships and secret’s hidden for years, and you have the perfect beach read!
Caroline Swift is a bestselling novelist, and she’s getting married for the fourth time at her home on the island of Corfu! Her two daughters are both invited, but will they both come?! Caroline’s marriages have left their scars on her daughters lives, can they have a happy ending now?! Or will the secrets from her past unravel her hopes and dreams.
Great scenes, great characters, the actual storyline was a little predictable but did not detract from a hugely enjoyable and entertaining read! Loved it and would highly recommend for a great holiday or beach read this summer.
Thank you NetGalley and HQ publishers was the amazing opportunity to read early!

True to form, Sarah has penned another fabulous book. Set in Corfu, sunshine and a wedding, what more could you want. A real page turner which I found hard to put down.

I have read most of Sarah Morgan’s books and always enjoy them. The first chapters always give an in-depth explanation of the main characters, in this book we have three. Catherine, Adeline her eldest daughter and Cassie her youngest daughter.
The chapters feature each of them in turns which makes it nice as you really feel the story from various sides.
Catherine is done with writing romance and is writing a crime novel instead, her publisher has not been informed about this yet and she is a bit anxious about this, especially also with her wedding coming up.
Adeline who is a relation therapist and very analytical has just broken her relation and is in a way looking forward to a trip to Corfu but on the other hand despises her mother for marrying for the 4th time, she is also wondering who this man will be. Initially she was not planning to go but her father persuaded her to do this for her mother.
Cassie who grew up on Corfu cannot wait to get back home and meet her mother, she is not so looking forward to meeting her sister.
A lot of events are happening and a lot of secrets are being put on the table making it an interesting and enjoyable read. I had suspected a few things and I was correct in them, does this mean I have read too many of Sarah Morgan’s books? Maybe but I have enjoyed this book very much so I will continue reading her books!

Focuses on three main female characters and written from their points of view.
Adeline is practical in every way, everything she does is well planned and executed.
She is never spontaneous. She works in London as an agony aunt and doesn’t see her family often.
So is not impressed when she gets an invite from her mother - Catherine, to yet another her weddings and is expected to attend.
Catherine Swift - the mum, is a successful bestselling author and is currently planning her next wedding on the island of Corfu.
Cassie - Catherine’s other daughter and Adeline’s half sister. She has always looked up to Adeline but Adeline has never really got to know her.
Family dramas are gonna happen when they all arrive on the island of Corfu.
Has a Mamma Mia feel about it, with them all arriving for a wedding and not knowing who the groom is.
A fabulous easy summer beach read with just the right balance between romance and family drama.
Sarah’s style of writing never disappoints, always a five ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ read
Thanks @sarahmorgan @hqstories & @netgalley for the eARC

I do love a Sarah Morgan book as she never fails to deliver an entertaining enjoyable read.
Well written with some strong characters I was drawn into this wonderful story.
Not a romance story as such, this captivating read is a little bit different & the main focus is family relationships with a lot of unfolding secrets coming out.
This starts slowly but builds into a really immersive read that will pull at your emotions.
The author has covered some tough issues in this book but handles them with sensitivity.
Set on the lovely island of Corfu the story is told from three perspectives.
Catherine Swift is a well known successful romance author, but she doesn’t experience that same success in her personal life.
With three failed marriages under her belt, she is hoping this wedding will improve relationships with her daughters.
Her daughter Adeline who has a rocky relationship with her mother is less than thrilled by this wedding & does not want to attend.
Half sister Cassie is thrilled with the news and hopes she can get on a better footing with her estranged sister Adeline.
As the big day approaches they are shocked to find their mother has been keeping things from them.
They find they do not know her at all.
This uplifting yet emotional tender story will keep you hooked as the intricacies of family life start to enfold.
The perfect summer read.

I’ve read a few Sarah Morgan books and really enjoyed them. This one I have to say took me a while to get into, I can read anywhere but this one I really had to hide away to get stuck in.

Once I got to part 2 is when I got in to the story, Adeline and Stefanos relationship was beautiful and natural, as was Cassie and Oliver. The setting in Greece sounded beautiful, It made me feel like I was by the sea. Although a slow start I did enjoy this book getting to understand each character and seeing them come together it almost felt like it also just ended tidying everything up with an epilogue.

Adeline and Cassie are estranged half-sisters who are both invited to the marriage of their mother Catherine...for the fourth time. As if that wasn't bad enough, famous romance author Catherine hasn't told the girls anything about her fiance.

Cassie is excited to be attending the wedding and hopeful for her mother to find happiness again. The situation is more complex for Adeline though, who still has a tricky relationship with the mother who walked out on her as a child. Can relationships be strengthened in the sunshine of Corfu?

Summer Wedding is more than just your traditional beach read. It's got real emotional depth, for all involved. Perfect for the beach...or your back garden!

This is another wonderful story by Sarah Morgan.

The story brings out the intricacies of family life and the joy of friendships.

At times I really did feel I was in Corfu with the sun beating down.

This would be a wonderful holiday read.

As always with Morgan’s books, I loved it. My expectations are always high and I am never disappointed. This novel is set against the beautiful backdrop of Corfu, as 2 daughters head to the island for their mothers wedding to a man neither of them knew existed.

Although there are three romances intertwined throughout this story, I found that the real focus was family, specifically parental relationships and how our upbringings can hugely affect the way we choose to live our lives.

This was an interesting read filled with endearing characters and just the right level of mysterious undertone. This will be perfect for the summer holidays, and I imagine it will be in many a beach bag this year. Highly recommend.

Summer Wedding follows the experiences of three women, who reconnect over one summer. First we meet Catherine Swift – the bestselling romance novelist, who is about to get married for the fourth time. We also hear the story from the point of view of her two, very different, daughters – Adeline and Cassie.

Adeline has a frosty relationship with her mother – when Catherine met her second husband and had Cassie, Adeline was suddenly sent away from their Corfu home to live with her father in the UK and has felt abandoned and emotionally detached as a result. Cassie on the other hand, has always had a close relationship with her mother and idolises her for the perfect romance that she had with her late father.

As the family reconnect – for Adeline, reluctantly – over the wedding, secrets are revealed and it seems that the events of the two girls’ childhoods that have defined their relationships with love and each other, are not at all what they thought.

This story had some great elements to it – and I loved how the women’s relationships evolved and the depths to their characters. The setting of Corfu was also gorgeous and I loved the descriptions of the scenery (and really badly want to go to Corfu now, to be honest!) But for me, somehow it never got out of second gear. And until the end, I found it hard to relate fully to any of the characters, they were all just a bit too much – either overly romantic or overly shut off! Undeniably a good story, it is just my preference for being rushed off my feet with a fast pace of storyline!

I really enjoyed reading Summer Wedding, not the romance/wedding book I was expecting but so much more than that. This was my first read by #SarahMorgan and I wasn’t disappointed and will definitely be looking for more from this author.
The story follows Catherine Swift who is a bestselling romance author and about to get married for the fourth time in Corfu. It explores her relationships with her two daughters Adeline and Cassie. Told in the past and present through the perspectives of the three women.
It includes family drama, healing, love, truths, forgiveness and happiness.
It’s a wonderful easy read with descriptions of the beautiful places as if you were really there too.
Definitely recommend this book.

As always Sarah gives us a great descriptive read that draws you in. It is easy to picture the beauty of Corfu and the great villa that Catherine lives in. Catherine Swift has a good career as a best selling author. With two beautiful daughters and soon to be remarried to her first love she should be on top of the world. As with all families things just aren’t that simple. With a lot of hidden secrets that are about to come out will Catherine and her family be able to come out the other side with their relationships intact. You never know what goes on in others lives and sometimes assumptions are made by just looking at the surface and not realising that things aren’t how they seem at first glance. I enjoyed this book and definitely recommend it you won’t be disappointed.

"Summer Wedding" is your classic Sarah Morgan book - relationships (both familial and romantic) featuring female leads which is largely comforting but offers a hint of a dark side - at least in this offering.

This story is about Catherine Swift, a hugely successful romance author and her two daughters Adeline and Cassie. Catherine is about to get re-married at her home on the island of Corfu and wants both of her daughters to be there. But Adeline still resents her mother for sending her away when she divorced her father to marry Cassie's father. And while Cassie loves her mother and gets on wonderfully with her, she's holding a secret which threatens to blow that relationship apart. This, along with a dark secret that Catherine has been hiding about her past, means that a happy family reunion is unlikely!

As I'm sure everyone can guess, these secrets come tumbling out and cause much drama. Morgan is an expert at drip feeding the reader information and writing great page turners. I particularly enjoyed the passages from Catherine's point of view where Morgan is clearly having a dig at people who criticise "romance" writers.

And while some parts of the book felt a bit repetitive and the twists and turns are fairly obvious, it's a comforting read which I enjoyed. The descriptions of Corfu and the sun, sea and sand really made me want a holiday and I think this would make an excellent holiday read. I'm sure fans of Morgan will not be disappointed.

Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for the opportunity to read this book.

A Sarah Morgan romance novel is always a treat - like that second glass of chilled white wine on a summer's evening. This time I loved that the relationship that blossomed was between two sisters and their mother.

Catherine Swift is a successful writer who has based her career on happy endings of romantic stories, while her daughters, Adeline and Cassie have lived apart. About to get married for a fourth time, Catherine's 'new' engagement throws up all manner of questions for her two girls and why their relationship has never been straightforward.

There were a few plot twists that I had guessed in advance - although I am sure Sarah Morgan put those clever hints in to prepare us as readers! I really enjoyed the story and loved that it celebrated family relationships (with a healthy dose of romance on the side) and the healing power that exists if we embrace it.

Many thanks to the publishers and Netgalley for an advanced release copy in exchange for an honest review. 4.5 rounded up for me!

This is a lighthearted, heartwarming read that I could imagine being read on the beach or by the pool.
Catherine asks her daughters, Adeline and Cassie to come to her wedding in Corfu, where she lives.
This will be her fourth wedding and Adeline can think of nothing worse than being there.
Cassie is happy for her Mum but has no idea who she is marrying.
When they both arrive in Corfu they are very shocked when they meet the groom to be. The meal Catherine has planned for them all to celebrate her news is a disaster with both Adeline and Cassie needing time to process the revelation.
I really enjoyed this book and as I’ve said, I can definitely see it as a perfect summer holiday read.
Thanks to HQ and NetGalley for the opportunity to read this book.

A very moving story with a beautiful setting in Corfu.
Catherine is getting married for the fourth time in Corfu and invited both her daughters Adeline and Cassie both from different dads and brought up differently and apart.
Catherine is a famous author of romantic novels but has a very difficult personal life and relationships are very strained especially after her daughters find out who the groom is.
Adeline and Cassie start to bond after they reveal their true feelings and why they were brought up apart.
A lovely family reunion, and how peoples vies can be so different.
Definitely recommend.

I really enjoyed this book although it was a bit slow to get going.

There are so many twists and turns that change the life experience that link them all together, Two daughters linked together by the same mother are brought together for their mother, Catherine's, 4th wedding on the island of Corfu, to a man the girls don't know about, and are in shock, when they find out about who the new man is.

The loves and losses, and the way that all of the characters look at relationships, old and new, is eye-opening and really makes you think, and gives you hope for the future.

"Summer Wedding" by Sarah Morgan whisks readers away to a picturesque Greek island, where love, family dynamics, and a touch of mystery intertwine. This delightful story unfolds against the enchanting backdrop of the island, capturing the essence of a fourth wedding for a renowned writer.

Morgan masterfully blends a range of emotions, immersing readers in a tale filled with love, joy, heartache, and healing. The tantalizing secret of the groom's identity adds an extra layer of intrigue, keeping readers guessing until the end.

While I thoroughly enjoyed "Summer Wedding," I yearned for deeper exploration of certain plot points and character motivations. Nevertheless, the overall experience was satisfying, and the book delivered a charming mix of emotions.

I extend my gratitude to HQ publishers for providing me with the opportunity to experience "Summer Wedding." Their generosity in sharing this captivating book allowed me to immerse myself in the beauty and emotional depth of this Greek island romance.

This was a great story exploring more than I expected it too. I truly hated some characters until the end when things were revealed but loved following the story of them to discover the truth of their own histories along the way. A great romance novel with added deeper storylines which kept me wanting more. Would be a perfect beach read - preferably in Corfu!
