A great book and guide to helping you manage your finances in a clear and east to track way. Full of great tips and advice.

This was a really great idea.
Definitely something I need in my life!

This was unique in style as it had a tracker along with space for a journal entry - that is supposedly good for your mindfulness. I liked the style and the layout - very aesthetically pleasing!

Each month there is a different informative section about various aspects of finance and money - I liked these sections, and it has made me want to pick up Gemma Birds previous book for more information.

This is a guide for the year, which most importantly tracks your monthly savings but it also have helpful guides, tips and checklists along the way. I don't think this would appeal to everyone but I think it's a great start on how to learn to budget and fantastic ways to actually start saving.

Thank you NetGalley and Octopus Publishing for the eARC!

This is a great book if you know you need to save but aren’t able to for whatever reason. Usually money- or savings-related books can be somewhat intimidating and have a “better than you” kind of vibe, but this isn’t it at all. The way that this journal is set up is very inviting and honestly very easy to understand. It’s also set up in a month-by-month way, making it very easy to follow.

Keep in mind, though, that this journal is primarily for a UK audience as it talks about savings in pounds, IRA, etc. but even if you’re not from the UK, the ‘Money Savings Checklist’ is very helpful to get you started on your savings journey. There are a lot of blank pages where you can journal, so that can be a hit for some people and a miss for others.

This is an attractive enough journal, I actually saw a hardback copy in a shop and it looked really lovely. Content wise, it is rather basic. The topics covered are helpful but there is not much detail or depth in the information. This would be more suited to someone at the beginning of a budgeting journey.

This is honestly such a great book. Yes, it contains some blank pages - it’s a journal, after all! - but more importantly it contains hundreds of amazing tips on how to save money and be more thrifty. Ideas I’d never heard of, such as No Spend Days and Make Money Days, and a calendar giving advice on how to avoid money drains. I’m going to go through it again and make notes, because the ideas it contains are absolutely invaluable. Gemma, you are a marvel!

This was quite a basic money journal, but very good and clear, ideal for beginners! I liked that it also had different themes for each month that passed, as well as to do and do not do list at the end. Good journal for financial education!
