Whilst I enjoyed reading more of Nico and Will's story, I found this book lacking the distinct Rick Riordan humour that usually runs through his books.

This had a slightly more mature tone to it than the other PJO universe books, which suited the storyline.

I'll always be an advocate for more representation in books, which this book definitely succeeded in providing.

Overall, a decent addition to the PJO universe.

As a die hard percy Jackson Fan, I was so excited when this book was announced. Nico and Will have been some of my favorite chracters and I loved getting to know them better. My favorite thing about Rick Riordans books is how diverse they are and how much more they get as he learns more whoch is much appreciated. I can't wait to read more Percy Jackson stories!

I grew up with the original Percy Jackson series, I grew up reading and loving this universe that Rick Riordan created.

I'm certain that nostagia plays a part in how much I loved this, it doesn't matter of I'm 10 or 20, the series will always been a favourite of mine and with it Nico Di Angelo will always been one of my favourite characters. Nico and Will a amazing together and a part.

Nico's journey in self acceptance and healing is so touching, him and will were some of the one of the first queer representation I encountered in books and so to have a book just fully dedicated to them is everything to me.

Whilst this was only a preview - as usual Rick Riordan and written what appears to be another fantastic novel in the Percy Jackson universe.

I NEED to go buy a copy of the full novel and will do a full review when I have read it. You've sold me.

How could I ever dislike anything Rick Riordan writes? It didn't surprise me that I loved this book, as I've been a huge Percy Jackson fan for years so learning more about other characters in this world was something I was so into! Nico and Will are two of my favourites, and getting to see this journey they go on and how they grow was so special!

4.25/5 stars! This was a great entry from the Camp Half-Blood Chronicles series. Rick Riordan continues to be able to write middle-grade stories with surprising depth and adventure that can rope in readers of all ages. I loved Nico and Will's relationship and Rick is a must-read author for me.

I loved the start of this book. It is a continuation of Nico and Will's story. I am excited to read the whole book and find out what happens with Nico and Will.

I didn't realise this was just a snippet! Nonetheless, it's fun to be back in this world I love so much and I'm excited to finish the book!

Follow along as two demigods endure the horrors of hell to recuse an old friend. This thrilling adventure is set within the exisiting world we know and love, following along secondary characters from the original story.

Yet here they are front and centre on their own epic adventure. Will they be able to overcome every obstacle and foe? I guess I’ll have to keep reading to find out.
